Hi. I'm so glad I found your video. May I ask po if pagdating mo dyan sa Malta, may place ka na po ba kagad na pinag stayan while nag aasikaso ng residence ID and such? Sagot mo po ba ung place or si employer mo na? On the spot ka po ba nag hanap ng place to stay dyan or nakapag book ka na nung nasa pinas ka pa po?
Hi during my time, nag Frank salt kami which is an real estate agency dito sa malta. So to answer the question, yes may bahay na ako sa malta aga prior pa ako lumipad. Nonetheless, sagot ni employer ko yung one month kong accommodation parang nireimburse na lang nila ako later on kasi nga may bahay na ako non na nahanap.

Hi! Thanks for watching my vlog. No need na for additional documents. The embassy or vfs, whichever is applicable in your case, is will only accept documents that are mentioned in the requirements list.

Hello during my time, yung employer ko gave a an inivitation letter plus a letter of accommodation sa transient house na binook nila for me.
May kilala naman ako na 1 month booking lang from airbnb or booking.com

My company provided us with a written declaration from a residential accommodation that they will accommodate us for a month. Some showed a month of booking from a hotel.

Malta has four seasons. Relatively, 8 months of cold to chilly then 4 months of summer. 2 months of which feels much like Metro Manila during summer season.

Depende po kasi yan e., pero should be hindi naman matagal yan mga 15 days po usually bumabalik na ang identity approval via email

Im sorry but I have mo idea. Pero i think same naman ang tax rules sa ibat ibang bansa esp. when it comes to income and situs or source. You will be either taxed at income source or where you reside.

As far as i know po nakikita po ng employer ninyo ang status nyan. Maybe you can ask them about it.

As far as I can remember hindi siya nakaaunthenticate bale may logo lang ng company yung letter tapos signed ng authorised person from the company din.

Hi Ms. Frani! I'm having conversation on a possible job offer from a firm there in Malta. The HR personnel said "we will cover your permit". May I kindly clarify po if may fees to be paid din po for the single permit or only for the visa (Im assuming she is only referring to the single permit and not the visa) Thank you very much po!
Hi! If you you are referring to one of the international firms like kpmg, ey, pwc, rsm, gt, they usually pay for the whole processing fee of your relocation in malta which includes the permit and the visa. But you have to pay for the visa processing first and they will reimburse you once you arrive in Malta.
For other local firms, i believe they only pay for permit and some relocation cost. But the rest you have to shoulder it yourself.

Turkish airlines- istanbul
Emirates- Dubai
Paglayover po hindi po nagdadaan sa immigration unless lalabas po kayo ng airport para nagikot sa labas ng istanbul or dubai. Pero kung hindi naman po kayo lalabas wala pong immigration, sa Malta na po ang immigration na dadaanan ninyo.

Hello po. Bale po ang process po kasing una ay sa work permit (280€) at kung may work permit na po kayo tsaka palang po kayo papayagan magapply ng visa (8k)
Hindi po kasi clear sa comment ninyo po if yung passport po na pinadala ninyo is yung actual passport po ninyo or certified true copy lang, pero usually po ang hinihinig lang ng identity malta for work permit is copy of passport.
Hindi ko rin po alam para saan yung birth certificate at authorization letter kasi po wala po yun sa requirement ng Identity Malta at Para sa visa. Unang una po, online na po ang application ng identity malta at online din po via email ang pagreceive ng work permit so hindi ko po gets kung anung document po exactly ang ikekeclaim according po sa statement ninyo
Sa visa naman po, hindi rin sia requirement. Tapos po kayo po mismo ang magaapply non kasi po pipicturan kayo doon at magbbiometric.
Pero un po, sa work permit po at visa wala pong ganyang requirement. Sa Agency po ba kayo nagapply? Or ung parents po nung nbanggit ninyo?

Hello. Yung paggamit po ng agency is based on number ng hire ng employer. If more than 5 na Filipinos na nahire nya, any succeeding hires need to go to an agency. For hindi pa naman nakalima, you can go to POEA and process your papers yourself. In this case, kailangan ipavalidate ng employer mo yung contract sa embassy sa Rome.
Anyway, our employer used 10th story agency in Ermita.

How will you know if the flight to Malta will be covered by the employer? I'll be having my final interview with an audit firm there and would like to know what I should ask them regarding the travel and visa process. Thanks a lot Frani!
Maybe when they ask you if you have questions, you can start by asking about the culture and then later on the benefits, and the relocation benefits (if they cover the transportation and visa processing.) and then ask them how long is their estimated time frame before you can fly. I think its important to ask that esp. if you haven’t tendered you resignation or you are employed locally at the moment.

However, they mentioned na sagot ko lahat tickets quarantine hotel and visa, tho they will provide a relocation allowance, kaso kapag pa napunta nako sa Malta. In line with this, would like to ask, how much yung costs involved going into Malta right now? and how much yung pocket money mo going there? Thanks a lot Fran.

For airline, you can check the emirates or turkish airline
Hotel: depende to kung dadaan ka at magsstay ka pa ba ng turkey or didiretso ka na. If direct ka na, 7 days ang quarantine dito which costs 100euros per day
Visa is around 8.5k
Then sa pocketmoney meron akong 30k pesos converted to euros that time.

Hi, it’s normal to have the approval by principle. Because there are further procedures you need to do when you get here in malta. So they can’t give you the full approval..

Hello po. Wala po akong agency for employment. Direct hire po ako ng emoyer ko. Nagkaroon lang po ako ng agency sa pagaayos ng papel sa POEA.
Wala rin po akong placement fee na binayaran. Yung employer ko na po ang kumuha ng agent para umayos ng papel ko gor POEA.

Hi! Ill try pero honestly wala kasi ako experience ng personal sa pagccross country. Pero yung friend ko meron from Dubai. I suggest you find job online like facebook (filipino workers in malta), linkedin para makahanap ka ng employer na willing ka papelan at dalhin dito. As to process naman, as i said kilangan mo ng sponsor na employer para sila magapply sayo sa identity malta and then next is visa then lipad na.
Bilang Bahrain is a red zone country considered dito sa malta. Mas mabilis ka magprocess kasi walng travel authorization na kailangan.

Depende po kasi sya kung ilan na nahire ng employer ninyo po. Ang requirement po is if more than 5 person, kailangan talaga mag agency. Pag po less than pwede po self process

Hello wala pong show money in my case po kasi po working visa po ako. I think applicable lang po ung bank statement pag tourist visa or pag family visa na may magsusuport or sponsor. Ung magsponsor po kailangan ng proof na kaya nya iaccomodate yung iisponsor nya while sa tourist visa po kailangan ng proof na kaya niya magsustain ang stay. Alam ko po 48euros per day po ang requirement ni malta. meaning po kung 5 days stay sa malta atleast 240euros or 16k pesos ang laman ng bank account
As to refusal po, wala po akong idea. Actually hindi rin po kasi sila nagbibigay ng reason in any case na refuse kaya i cant say po anung grounds. Pero pwede naman po iappeal un in any case

Maybe you can try po na magapply or process ng own visa po. Yng po bang amo willing papelan yung mga anak ninyo po? Kasi po kung willing naman po kaya po yun.

Yes po. Pero mostly po mga family po na kumukuha ng carers. Sila po ang nagssponsor ng visa to Malta. Same process din po pero may mga additional lang na kailangan for the approval ng Identity malta.

By the law, pwede naman direct hire provided that the number of professionals and skilled OFWs hired for the first time shall not exceed five (5). So if naexceed ba yon, your employer would need assistance from an agency to process the papers of the hired filipino worker with the POEA. Big firms here all taps an agent in the Philippines for processing. Actually kp, pwc at GT sure ako na same ang agent which is 10th storey sa Malate.

@@daccountant6607 i think you should ask your employer about it. Yung mga andito kasi yung employer mismo ang directly nakikipag coordinate sa agent and then wala kaming binayaran as in nagpunta lang kami doon sa agent and nagpasa ng mga requirements. Sinabi ba ng employer mo na you need an agency?

Pwede family short stay visa po, make sure to provide proofs that you are in a relationship( pictures, screenshot of messages and convos).
At the moment nga lang i think hindi sila open for family visa unless may valid reason to come here kasi medyo mahigpit due to covid lalo na if galing sa dark red countries.

As far as I know po tumatangap naman na for visa processing kasi po may mga kilala ako na nagsstart na.hindi ko lang po alam if gaano katagal ang processing visa now. Ang problem po lies with the logistics. Kasi po currently naka dark red ang philippines sa malta. So kailangan nio po magstay sa corridor countries ng malta for 14 days before po makalipad dito sa Malta. At kailangan po vaccinated at may pahintulot ng covid vetting dito po. Kaya medyo alanganin rin po..

actually wala po akong alam na website or agency for F&B jobs pero I suggest po punta po kayo sa mga fb job pages like Jobs in Malta, Jobs Malta | Vacancy Malta po may mga nagpopost po doon for direct hiring.
