He injured his foot in FO2021 and in fact was playing the whole clay court season with a bad foot yet he still won Barcelona and Rome and beat Novak at Rome. French Sports Minister was sued by Rafa for lying about doping in 2016-17. Nadal WON the lawsuit and received damages from that lying sack of shit minister. I most of the time wish the opponent to win against Nadal except against assholes like Lukas Rosol and some other, but i do support Federer and Djokovic whenever they play Nadal cuz Nadal's game always been a bit boring for me with all those spins and same ritual + always using the same speech after every matches, he has no charisma whenever he talks etc but that is my opinion, ain't feeling anything about him while Djokovic and Federer are more fun and interesting to listen to me.
      Otherwise, he's awesome and a legend of the sport for sure same as Federer Djokovic are, to me they're equal.
      And although i wanted Medvedev to win AO 2022, i was glad Nadal won just to make the trash toxics fans (not all the fans but some) of Djokovic who were saying "No Novak No tennis", they were so mad and toxics during all the tournament it was annoying.
      It's a pity Novak didn't play cuz i believe if he went to the Semi we would have had a good match and Djokovic would have made it probably to the Final i think, but dell we got Med/Nadal and it was epic, each match between the Big 3 is fabulous to watch, whenever Djokovic or Federer reach a Semi or any round, and Nadal is about to win his current match to meet one of them, i'm glad if Nadal wins cuz it means an epic match will happen against Federer or Djokovic 👌

      @@sn07 I guess there's strategy too but what more is there? Nadal's game is clearly perfectly suited to clay and as far as I can see 13 Roland Garros wins is just a natural result of that. He's won the clay court masters almost as much as Roland Garros. The slightly better results there can be easily explained by some combination of chance, the fact it's a major so he prioritizes it, the fact it's best of five and maybe the surface being extra high bouncing.
      Also he didn't lose in 2016 he withdrew due to injury, so that's only three match losses.

    • @alexfrye6
      @alexfrye6 Před 2 lety

      @@kgaming5977 Clay does make it easier to defend but that doesn't mean defensive players are best on clay. Look at Andy Murray, super defensive but better on fast courts. Nadal is more of an offensive baseliner especially in his later career and is best on clay.
      I think it's more to do with power vs precision and topspin vs flat shots. Power and topspin are best for slower surfaces, precision and flat hitting are best for faster surfaces.
