As a fellow canadian i want to say thank you, your reviews on the sony zve10 helped me build my youtube channel and now i have almost 4k subs. Thank you once again
That’s great to hear!!
"No internal recording" = deal breaker. Thanks for the review.
Still gonna buy the Hollyland Lark M2 for my ZV-E10 😃
that’s overall my favourite mic
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis well there we have it🎉 still a great vid
Bruh... I did the same thing
Have you tried the new Godox Magic XT1 🔥@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis
@9:20 The chest hair comment is pure gold! Awesome review Mark, didn't even know something like these existed.
Recently picked this up when it was on sale sale wanted to use it for client work on the go!
Great video!!
Man I love the value you bring to us bro
I appreciate that!!
REALLY interesting…not gonna lie I was sold until the “no internal recording” that’s such a huge benefit nowadays…
Thanks for the video!!
STYX! Yes! Great video
haha. Yes!!
Will buy just for the Tonka-orange cables!
hahaha - they do look awesome!!
They should have made a receiver with the Sony digital interface shoe, just like DJI did. no cables, right into camera, all 4 channels at once. but it looks like a budget option. On my multicam setups I use the new Ulanzi U-mic w/ internal recording, and when more mic's are needed I add my rode wireless go (1st edition) or my godox MovLink M2's. Never had to record more than 5 people talking fortunately.
Domo, Domo to you in your shiny silver spacesuit with smoke machine in the background. 🛸
🤣🤣🤣
Mark Bennett has the exact number of hands that are needed for this thumbnail which is many.
🤣🤣 nice to see you, Wayne!!
Mark , hopefully you get the E10 mark 2 review unit early
I think at this pricepoint i would Rather 3 sets of ulanzi or Neewer with the internal recording. With the sales or coupon they get around 90dollars for 2 microphones . Maybe they sound not like my rode go II BUT much cheaper and in general the internal arorage saves lives . But thank you for the review . Interesting set .
i have this mic and they sound so goodddd
Great demonstration of some very promising mics. Four mics with the ability to use lav mac is really awesome! 32bit float would have been nice, but the price would have been higher.
The Hollyland Lark M2 has way better noise reduction than this one and if you use their phone app, noise reduction can be turned down. If Hollyland came out with a four mic setup, that'd be amazing!
Am curious if the dji mic2 receiver is compatible with 4 transmitters?
no - two only
Sony zv-e10 ii😊
I have the xd-boom and their hand held wireless mic. They have excellent sound. I wish they would offer a wireless lav with on-board recording. I was working with someone else that had the one from Rode, I'm spoiled now. I'm less concerned with 32 bit. It's nice but I've done fine without it for years. The on-board recording has become a must.
You’re in luck the boom xd-pro does have on board recording. The original Boom XD does not. amzn.to/3XS5EZt
Would you consider these better than the ulanzi wireless mics?
not really. similar in quality and the Ulanzi is cheaper with internal recording. if you only need two or less mics, the Ulanzi is the better deal
69k subs! Nice!
thanks!!
I have had this for soooo long and keep failing to make my video on it lol 😂
me too!! finally got to it
You can see that screen pretty good in the daylight. Too many good wireless mics have really bad screens that are unusable in sunlight.
it’s a nice bright screen
Fantastic review as always. Spooky timing I was only thinking of options for more than 2 transmitters to 1 receiver. Sounds good and the price is very attractive. What lavalier mic would you recommend with this set up given the budget cost of the system? The one you were using in the test sounded very good.
if yo need more than two transmitters, I would go with this.
70k subs? B'y da jumpin'! Congrats buddy!
You have perhaps 1 or 2 friends, that would utilize up to 3 :P
dat you, Kevin?? fancy new logo
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis It is, new logo? I don't think I changed anything but this mic system looks pretty sweet. Maybe I should start making videos again? Even Armchair Videographer ones
@@KPGuitarStudios not logo - I meant name. KPGuitarStudios - hadn’t noticed that before!!
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis Ah! OK that did change, I figured I'd make it more directed at music and leave room for other channels/topics. You wouldn't believe how crazy busy it's been down here in Florida!
DJI MIC 2 should come out with new transmitter for 4 mic...
it would be nice
What’s the Lavalier mic u used?
The DJI one - I should have mentioned that!! I’ll put a link
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis 🙏
They need to pay Sony some money to license their fancy hotshoe connector thingy and get 4 channels flowing through it like the ECM-M1. Recording all 4 right on the camera with no messy 3.5mm wire I would pay for that
thats some nice noice cancelling o.o
That would be great
Could you put all 4 like around your subject and get spatial audio stuff working? o.o
Hey brother, should I buy the zve10 over the a6400 just for the price difference. Im into photography and I'm planning to upgrade my sony a6000 into either of these two
f photography is your main thing, I would go for the a6400
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis I'm a bit short on cash for a6400 i'm just a student from ph haha but is the zve10 still considerable for photography or should i buy a used a7ii which has almost the same price with the brand new zve10? I already tried to use zve10 but not a7ii. I'm a bit worried about the af slow that i read on reviews
@@user-gu1yy5fp9pa7ii is around 2 generations under the af that the a6400 uses , but unless youre doing fast paced work or sports , go get the a7ii
If you have the slightest interest for video , go for the a6400.
Zve10 ditches the evf which you might need in sunny conditoons
Yeah, and the batteries in those mics are not "user replaceable"
The equivalent of buying them over and over!
it’s the same with almost ever wireless consumer mic. They batteries will last for years, long past most people’s upgrade cycles. you won’t be using mic’s like this a decade from now
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis Yes, they are all like that! A reason to avoid, unless you like to be ripped off on infinite repeat. Like Adobe software, a rental, something for people who are ok with thieves, or the WEF, also thieves. ;-)
Does it work with teddy bears interviews?
if depends if they can talk
Is it just me that wants a plain wireless microphone? Without a logo or in this case a bright orange stripe and LED light. The most discrete is the DJI Mic 2 but even then you can see all the tech inside albeit dark.
yes - a lot of people want that. The best option is the Hollyland Lark M2 because it is small and comes with a reusable black sticker to hide the logo. czcams.com/video/Zq_45WiRlo8/video.htmlsi=ecLx9CsP7XWJRKBM
This is what gaff tape is for.
@@aldolega sure, but why don’t these companies appreciate this need in the design phase? Or maybe they do and that’s why they make it distinctive…
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis I still think the Lark M2 is obnoxious (probably the most obnoxious actually) but love that they give you a sticker.
I think mic companies are banking on people not bothering to cover it up and therefore this is perfectly intentional marketing strategy tbh.
@@HotelSeptember I mean I agree. When the first Rodes came out the first thing I thought was "Why is the transmitter shiny? Why does the clip have a huge logo on it? So obvious and unprofessional." But maybe them being so obnoxious was part of their success, people love a brand apparently. And it's no surprise that all the copycats, well, copied that aspect. I went with the PicoMic because it's almost as small as a lav mic with a shirt clip by itself.

Nice video mark , I didn't hear any difference in sound quality between that Mic and Dji Mic 2 . It seems they did a good job with the sound quality .
