Yeah I’m not buying the sales pitch. A believer even though they are running for office they would confess Jesus as Lord and savior.
Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior, not some man, or president. He didn't get involved in worldly affairs or politics!
Christ ✝️ gets involved in issues that are in conflict with His Word (abortion, LGBTQ, evil in government) but has no political party preference. Of course, witnessing and sharing the gospel will benefit any nation, even if its government is tyrannical and anti-Christian.

He is not selling the bible just endorsing it. That particular bible was actually put out by Lee Greenwood a few years ago. That being said, I don't put my faith in any politician, only Jesus Christ. I pray he finds truth.

That Pastor was spot on. But I wish Christians would stop saying "love your neighbor as yourself" w/o telling ppl what that is. Loving your neighbor means to rebuke them. If Christians are going to say love your neighbor then they need to say how to do it and that means to rebuke your neighbor.

After having heard that sermon from the pastor, I must critique it a little: A Christian must always be discerning like a Berean. I never judge a brother or sister if they choose not to vote. Voting will not sway YHWH away from his set in stone will and prophecy. But what if YHWH calls you to run for office? Is it sinful to bury your head in the sand and be like Jonah and ignore it because politics (Nineveh) is evil? Christians have a dual citizenship, in Heaven and the earthly land, whether you like it or not. We are sojourners set on doing God's will in the nation He assigns us to. We cannot put the nation first. The veteran organizations got it right: God, family, country, in that order. If the government is ungodly, then do what God commands in His word. We cannot ignore the political sphere; we can pray for the salvation and the guidance of those appointed or elected by us. You have to keep the pledge, the constitution, and the national anthem separate from the Holy Bible; the Word is eternal and anything American is temporary and someday will go away. It's a matter of keeping it all in perspective.
It's about time somebody called Trump out as i was on the Trump train until i started listening to him talk and what he stands for. People think Trump is going to save America and they worship him like he's God. The only person that will save America is Jesus

God through Christ ✝️ can save Americans, not America. The "salt and light" believers preserve America, but many Americans will remain patriotic but wind up in hell by their own choosing.

I agree wholeheartedly. Just because Trump has a Bible in his hand, does not make him a Christian. He reminds me of my neighbors who has a very ornate Bible in her home...that she never reads, nor does she know what the words contained within actually mean. Yet she uses it's presence to prove what a good Christian she is. If Trump is one thing, it's that he is arrogant. His arrogance allows him to think that his holding a Bible and making a few random comments with God in them makes him trustworthy. It doesn't. It's actually very offensive that he is essentially hocking a Bible with the constitution, Bill of Rights, etc. You can clearly see that he does NOT know the word of God, and the purpose of the Bible. As a conservative Christian and someone who loves freedom, your comment is so right. A free people should not have this need to base their happiness on who their elected king is--as well is this constant need to be led by an earthly king. Trump is leading a lot of people to darkness.

Far too many people confuse being a Christian with being a nationalistic American. I may have been born in America, but I'm a Christian in spite of that fact. There is no connection between these two identities. American nationalism does not equate to being a Christian.
"Christian nationalism" isn't Biblical. These people are using God's name in vain to achieve worldly power, and too many ministers are encouraging God's name be used in vain.

Thank you for this video! I agree completely with what you’re saying. It seems to me that too many “christians” are more interested in living the “American Dream” instead of living for Christ. I’m not interested in the American Dream; this nation was founded on the principles of freemasonry, and not on the principles of Christianity. I also totally agree, and am encouraged by, what that pastor said in his sermon. However, I am concerned that during that video clip (at 10:46) he flashes a satanic sign. Just an observation.

I'm glad you brought this up and I hope church's preach Jesus. Many church's are not preaching the gospel. Hopefully we will elect people who stand for Jesus. But remember that the Lord uses rulers for his purpose.
