And in case you're wondering... my favorite rum is Bumbu, liquor is Southern Comfort, sipping cordial is Rum-Chata & overall beverage is Diet Mt. Dew... I do like a stiff cup of coffee and fresh florida squeezed orange juice too! Oh and my mom's beef enchiladas, yeeeeehaw they're delicious!
Also, my favorite metals to collect & invest in currently put in order of my #1 down the list: Graded Coins (Capped Bust, Seated Liberty, Morgans & Barbers), Gold (because it's awesome & portable), Silver (the work horse of metals, some opportunity here), Paper fiat (old cash from both America & Countries abroad) & Alternative metals (copper being king, but all metal has value)!

That looks like a lot of fun. I always wanted one of those sample slabs that the grading companies put out at the shows. I have never been to a coin show. Unfortunately I live out in the country. Man I would have the time of my life there. Enjoy Brother

Have you ever thought you'd hear yourself say a coin show was a fun fun time? A sports game, a concert, roller skating, go carts, etc, you expect to hear that. But at a coin show? I've only been to one small coin show but it's the most quiet event you can go to besides the public library. 😅😅😅

I’m looking for a 1863-ish $5 note from the bank at the de soda Nebraska with the green overprint preferably a PMG graded note 58 to 65 but what I Will go ungraded as well if in good condition. Give me a comment if you see one.

This is not criticism, but it's just a reality that I've spoken of in the past. The actual value or price of your coins have virtually NOTHING to do with the price listed in a book. It's virtually 100% about what it sells for when you expose it to a market. The market sets the price. What is the minimum a holder willing to let it go for, and what is the maximum a buyer is willing to pay. That's the actual price, and you just pointed out that the book had your 1884-CC MS63 Morgan at $450, while the dealer had it listed for $380, a full $70 below it supposed value. Not only that, the dealer, even though he had it listed for $380, he was willing to let it go for $350, which is $30 under his own price and a full $100 off the listed book price. What does that mean? It means that you can never really know the value of your coins, not really even an approximate value, unless +/- 20% up or down (i.e. 40% range) is what you consider approximate. That's just in the over $100 and under $1,000 price. A full 40% range in coins that can value swell into the thousands and tens of thousands is getting into real money that matters. I see that as a major liability to the numismatics, especially if the time you want the most exposure to price is during a crisis. In a crisis, you have no idea what your universe of buyers will look like. You don't know if the money system will be functioning outside of cash. You don't really even know if things like Facebook, Ebay, and Instagram will be running. Just seems far more uncertain and carries a lot more counter-party risk relative to any perspective buyers. I know I'm not telling you anything you don't know, but since you're wanting to have a handle on the value that you actually have, I thought I should point out this particular neon value sign with the arrow pointing down. Having said that, it was good to see you pick up a few ounces of non-numismatic Silver. Also, I have to say, these folks have an incredible inventory! I wish I could go to a coin show like that! I've been to some much smaller coin shows, but they had NOTHING like what I'm seeing in this video. It also reinforces my own suspicion that there is a lot more Silver being held in American hands than we actually realize. I know people tout numbers like 1 to 3 percent, but I think that number could actually be higher, and the amount of Silver held by those individuals is likely higher than people think as well. This was a very cool video! Thanks for taking the time. Stack your way and keep it going!
Totally agree with everything you said... however, I've chosen to not go all in on an SHTF scenario. I have a base stack for exactly that. Silver & gold bullion that can be traded, sold, converted for whatever I need whenever i need it. The numismatics are pure speculation & investment. I'm banking on buying nice pieces low enough, that there will be an upside to sell them in the future. Obviously if the world falls apart, we go to war, end up in a brutal recession, my selling pool drastically sinks and I'm left holding. But in the case that the world keeps turning, things stay normalish or if another upswing happens, I'm positioned well to make a profit and reposition as I see fit. My stack is still hanging out, but this is truly my investment for the future as opposed to buying stocks etc... Great to see you man!
