    you fail to mention that many of the jews living in Poland at the time were jews from western Europe when Nazis came to power jews fled east to Poland and as Nazis moved in on Poland their next move was to flee to Soviet Union, it is sad what happened but please write the correct numbers many of the jews that died in Poland were from Poland but a lot were fleeing from western Europe as well.....just putting my two cents in

    If someone is Jewish would it show up in DNA test? My family is from Poland but I am in Canada. I have bit of Scandinavian blood. Also, I heard that Jews have to be descended from the 12 tribes of Israel in order to be truly Jewish? I don't know if being mixed blood Jewish means anything for Jews?
