- News flash: as you get older, you do not automatically become more stylish. Like anything, dressing well takes some effort. And if you're in you're 30s, 40s, 50s, or 60s and you haven't started putting that effort in, it's about time you do! In today's video I'm addressing the following topics:
- How to dress well in your 40s (50s and 60s)
- Style mistakes older guys make
- How to dress appropriately for your age
- Style tips for men over 40
Some of you know that I'm over 40 myself. And although age isn't something I've addressed specifically on the channel before, it's something I definitely think is worth talking about to help those of you out there who are looking for advice.

#older #man #style - Jak na to + styl
I hit 51 this week. I think I’m pretty lucky to have my own sense of style. When I hit 40, there was a shift that automatically told me what I couldn’t wear . It just came naturally to me , but one thing I knew is that I didn’t want to become an old stale piece of toast. You can look awesome at any age , but you have to wear something age appropriate. Nothing is worse than seeing someone my age wearing something geared towards college aged kids. You end up looking older ironically by trying to wear something younger. I like designer shoes. I buy one or two pairs a year. I go for basic black or gray sneakers . I just bought a blue pair of Blue suede Prada sneakers . You don’t have to spend a lot on shoes, but those are what adds a punch to my basic classic American wardrobe. Just throw in European shoes ! I love Camper too depending on what they have each season. Those are affordable and comfortable and not boring. I enjoyed this video! Thank you! My imperative too is a sport coat like a navy or black one. I like to travel in those because planes can be cold and it serves as an extra pillow. Ha ha! It looks better than a regular jacket and flight attendants respect me more for putting in the effort. I know they do.
Great advice ; dressing age appropriate and stylish actually makes you feel younger because it demonstrates you pay attention to detail and people notice. Something I didn't pay attention to until my fifties. Always feels good when someone compliments your style. Keep up the great videos. Subscribed.
Well said!
Great advice: dress as you like and feel most comfortable. Don't give a shit about people opinion.
Easy for you to say, I live in Key west. Locals wear t-shirts, shorts and sandals. If your wearing anything else, you get treated like a tourist. Trust me, you follow those tips here, you stand out, and not in a good way 😂
Great advice and I'd like to add that choosing less items that are of higher quality is better than many items that are subpar. Example, cashmere and silk sweater, high quality wools, etc. While more expensive, if you go toward more classic, they look great, last longer, and will keep you in style. Also, put the time into a fitness routine. Not only will it make you look better, but it will keep you healthier and feel better.
With climate changes, there is also changes in fashion. No one wearing animal based clothes are in fashion. We shouldn't keep being ignorant. There is some fair trade dess shirts availible that also support seamstress, and second hand clothes that can reduce the garment production pollution.
I'm a 57 yearold grandfather. I find joggers to be comfortable and a reasonable price. With the proper fitting clothes and the right colors and footwear even an older guy like me can look good. My wife says I look hot too.... so really who cares what other people think. Joggers and a tee shirt are good for me and comfortable too. Great video.
seriously, i wanna be comfortable. who the heck wants to look like everybody else
Good advice. I’m 67 and I’m trying to find everyday wear. I’m retired yet when I go out I must be GQ. I’ve started getting high end haircuts, manicures and pedicures just to look fresh. I’m also looking into the minimalist approach for everyday clothing: chinos, tees, and casual walking shoes. Gotten rid of all my old suits. Now I have 3 classic suites for Sunday wear and special occasions.
I’m trying to look like the “Man of Leisure” without looking like a pimp...lol
G. M. Wear what makes you happy and you’re comfortable with. Don’t worry
hell yeah, put that work in!
Good for you mate. Remember to moisturize and take NMN. Much love.
@G.m. can you explain what a" high-end haircut" is?
Just cause ur getting 'high',
You should not 'end' getting haircuts and manicures...
I just purchased a high waist pair of training users. It changed my life. I no longer have to choose between directing it left, right, up, down 🤣 Everything is in place and the package is well kept
Great advice! I'm almost that age and it's time I started paying more attention to how I style myself. You're very handsome man!
Great content as usual Brian. Im early 30's and i esp like the emphasis you placed on grooming. Simple tips that make a huge difference. Thx man
Kiran Persad Yessir. Thanks for chiming in.
Maaaaaaann!!! Are you ever right on point! You have such great content and it’s so relevant, tasteful and interesting. I’ve been following you Brian for a very long time and you NEVER disappoint.
J MB You are very kind. Thank you so much for the continued support.
Thank you for your tips and suggestions although I believe what is more important are the following: comfort, practicality and happiness.
Thanks for acknowledging we don't all where suits everyday. It's one of the things that had me give up on seeking styling advice.
Super interesting topic this one. Definitely would like to hear more thoughts and suggestions from you regarding casual wear as this is the area it’s easy for the more mature guy to come unstuck.
Excellent video as ever Brian. Keep up the good work.
Good topic for an outfit video. How to dress casually as an adult?
I agree with most of your comments especially the one about “fit” because your body changes with age also your ears and nose become more hairy so I have bought a trimmer. Keep up the good work you have a nice way of explaining and presenting stuff 👍
I'm glad you like it. Appreciate that very much.
Thanks for the quality video Brian. I agree w/your views here. Cheers from Nevada.
Another excellent video and timely wisdom...keep it coming to us!
Been there, done that...at the end of the day, it all comes down to personal preference ie. what makes YOU feel good, comfortable, and confident.
The REAL Capt Joe preach
yeah, why do i have to look like everybody else to be attractive?
There are also kids in their 20s who follow you brian.... You are a great inspiration!!! ;)
Thanks so much, Max. Appreciate the comment and the support.
@daAnder71sorry man it is not my first language... I try to do my best.. Would you prefer to check my italian ? ....
Max Ant good to see not eveyone in their 20s wear Yeezys
@@mrsmith8224 yeah mr smith.. You know ... Good taste is not a matter of age.. ;)
I'm a woman, but I can't stop watching your videos! I love menswear and actually into learning how to sew now and I would want to sew a siut. Great content Mr! From The Philippines.
Brian as usual great advice, it may shock you to know I am 74, have always dressed well and everything I own fits !! its not easy xx
Well done, sir!
Good information. 2 years ago when I turned 40. I decided to upgrade my look and clothes was the first investment I made in myself. I decided to head to Nordstrom and find the best of what's out there. Fitted clothing. Wow what a difference it made.
Kudos! It was tough, but I had to come to grips with my age/body a while ago (am now 54). Dress shirts, polos, chinos, and sport coats are now my uniform. T-shirts/sweats for a weekend Home Depot run are okay but not for weekday wear.
Waltski Many Thanks! A uniform is a good thing!
Great video, I’ve watched this video many times and I try to follow your tips when shopping for clothes 😊
Thank you for this video! I just hit 50 and I own nothing except tees and polos for work...I've got some shopping to do! My only pain point is size 18 feet...I'm usually forced to go with whatever will work in terms of shoes...selection of casual and affordable shoes is minimal.
I'm 26 and every single advice of this video is appropriate to my age as well. Thanks Brian, keep up the good work!
Totally agree. Thanks so much for the kind words and support, Edoardo.
As a lifelong introvert, I dress for myself and nobody else. I like to look nice so that I feel confident and good about myself. I know a lot of guys whose fashion sense changes like the weather based on what they think will attract women. Another poster said it already, but who the hell cares what a woman thinks about your clothes? Your style and personal appearance should be a very selfish aspect in that you wear whatever you want because YOU want to wear it. If your clothes are what is specifically attracting a certain woman, then you can best believe her materialistic nature will soon come out and you will wish to God you never met her. There are a lot of nice, simple women out there who don’t have the tastes of some trashy Kardashian.
My rambling overall point is to dress however it is that does it for you. Maybe it’s just my introversion coming out, but who the hell cares what someone else thinks of you? People are flawed all over the place and are in position to judge you for anything. Don’t overthink your clothing, gents. There’s much more to worry about in life besides that.
Awesome advice I'll definitely take a leaf from your book as I approach my 40s.
Great video, Brian. Turned 40 this year and I appreciate your advice.
Many thanks! And you're very welcome.
Great video. I can wear a suit very well, yet at 62 I could never give up my polos, tshirts, jeans and khakis, and Sperry topsiders. They’re who I am! 😂. No one has ever said to me that I should dress like I’m older, or 62. And, I’m not so sure what that is or if I’d even want to either.
I think what matters is not to give a damn what people think and how they perceive you. Wear whatever you like and if you like how you look, then screw everybody else !
It is all about confidence, not clothes. Confidence doesn't come from what you put on your back, but from what you put in your brain. When you have that confidence, you could be a man and dress like Marie Antoinette and still be the most charismatic male in the room or on the street. NOTHING is sexier and more attractive than confidence, ask any woman or any gay man.
Whether you are dressed in tailored clothes, shoes and accessories from head to toe, or dressed in GAP, the only thing that people around you will notice and that will matter to them, is your confidence or lack of it.
Now all this being said, if you naturally look like a supermodel, you can wear a sack of potato and people will still find you attractive. And vice versa, if you are the doppelganger of Joseph Merrick, you can wear a Bespoke from Kiton or Desmond Merrion, and that won't change a thing. And that's the glitch in the machine.
So work on your self confidence using your brain not your wallet !
I disagree that you shouldn't worry about what other people think. There is a healthy amount I believe that is required to be able to dress appropriately. In my teens I didn't care what people thought of what I wore, and that extended to my personal hygiene. Almost everyone judges other people on what they look and smell like and you should too. In my teens my clothing choices were horrific and make me cringe now. At one point I decided to put my sweat pants away and start wearing jeans because my sister had a wedding coming up and I needed something 'nice' (but to be fair it was what a lot of people were wearing normally). This clothing change extended to normal situations and not just the wedding and I looked nice and it immediately make me more confident because I looked better, I then focused on my personal hygiene etc and it all helped, but it started with my new clothing choices.
I think most men dress for comfort but it's SO much easier these days to dress comfortably and look nice. You can get nice-looking jeans, pants and shirts with spandex now. I have some pants I wear to work that have spandex that I'd rather wear than sweatpants on the weekend because they're like a second skin. You're also spot on that the details and grooming make all the difference. A darker wash on your jeans...comfy sneakers that aren't running shoes...no hair sticking out of your nose...instead of wearing a sweatshirt put on a really comfy sweater over a basic t-shirt. These are all little things that together can greatly improve your appearance. Great video, Brian!
Very helpful I’m 45 and adjusting to dressing within my age group.👍🏾
We need the basic wardrobe video!!! ASAP :P And also make note of the seasons with that... Looking for a khaki chino now but live in a 4 season country and don't know what to buy!
It's going to be quite an undertaking to create. Definitely want it to be a solid reference video. But it is most certainly in the queue.
Really enjoyed this one Brain, at 60 am at the top end, but all your points are on-point, leather jacket think I will pass, however, think is fine, don't have to wear suits but still, love them... thanks buddy great video
Gerry Gallagher Thanks for chiming in, Gerry.
I'm 68 and have worn Levi 501 jeans since high school and will wear them til I die. But I do agee with NO socks with sandals!
Found your site recently and really appreciate it. You have excellent presence and delivery. ...Cheers.
I'm 46, 5" 9" tall and weight 185 lbs. I just spent from March 2019 - July 2019 dropping from 30% to 20% body fat. My goal is to get down to 8-10% and then from there never go above 12-13%. As I'm doing this, I can't help but to want to update my clothing style. The last 10 years I dressed for comfort and became more of a homebody. I can dress nice for a date, but I don't have enough stylish clothing options to wear if the date becomes many dates (a.k.a. relationship), so I'm seeking help. This is the first video I watch and I think it's a good start. But if there are any other videos that can give me more specific clothing ideas, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance!
What the hell, you’re 41? You hold it together well Brian! Btw - great tips and congrats on 60k!
Teddy Baldassarre that’s right, whippersnapper! Thanks for the comment and looking forward to the collab video.
I'm 40, and he looks like he could be my dad. Honestly. I get asked for my ID when I buy beer.
Seriously 😳 I'm 40 he looks like 47
He looks great no doubt, but I honestly thought he was 45+ 😅
Instablaster...
My moto is wear what you want if you have a good head on your shoulder meaning fun outgoing humble, etc. She’s gonna like you no matter what you wear and if she’s judging you by what you are wearing, you probably don’t want her.
If she does not know you , clothes are about all that she has to guess what you are. If she knows and loves you, then clothes are large effort that you make so that she looks good for picking you.
Great video, Brian. Not sure how I missed this one.
Approaching my mid-40's this is something I *really* need to pay attention to! Thanks for the tips :)
You're very welcome. Thanks for taking the time to comment.
Brain this is good advice for the youngsters as well! This is the era that younger guys want to look older Times has changed
Thanks so much, Vernon. Appreciate the comment.
I haven't gone through many videos of this topic on this channel here however price is the heaviest concern, not even necessarily the know-how. Just a few items that get recommended get me into the thousands very quickly. A more amateur and affordable guide navigating what these brands or stores that offer the better "cuts" are would give us amateurs a more immediate resonance on the topic. I'm glad to be humbled by anyone's info on this which I'm sure I probably missed. Thanks guys.
About to be 41 in less than 2 months, been looking for tips, just stumbled upon this video. Good advice!
Great advice as always. I would love to know what you wear when you run errands.
Omar Diaz Thanks, Omar. Oh, I dress really casually. Shorts. Jeans. Sweatshirt. Nothing fancy at all. Just like a normal dude.
He Spoke Style do you tailor your jeans the same way as dress pants? The same rules of break.
I am 45 years old. My style has been and always will be my own.
That's awesome, man!
Great advice! I am 40 now but going back, I remember I've always wanted to wear a suit. I've worn it in the clubs before in my 20's. I also like the dress vest over a dress shirt look with a tie. There was a time in the 2000's (Justin Timberlake, TI, Neyo, Jay-Z) to name a few, rocked suit and tie, even had a song named one too! Lol
In my 40's though, I appreciate more time to myself, being alone in the movies, I just started doing that and I've been liking it. Back in my teens, 20's and 30's, that was a hard no-no! I also appreciate healthier alternatives to junk foods now, working out, and spending my money on the finer things in life.
Discovered your channel today. Great content, sir. Exactly what I was looking for.
Brian, what an excellent video and yes, as many viewers have said you’re an amazing looking almost 42 year old man! (I’m about to turn 43.) I respectfully have to disagree with you on one point. I think that men of almost any age can pull off untucked shirts, but the shirts need to be designed to be worn untucked. This is why I love UNTUCKIT shirts. They aren’t too long at the bottom and they’re available in many fits for many kinds of bodies.
I agree. The cut of the hem really matters. Guy
I am 51 and I wear what I am comfortable in.
@patrick m crocs and cargo shorts r comfy lol
1968rjs new balance sneakers with Costco jeans
@patrick m in 40 i wear what I like also and I bet i look significantly better than you
@patrick m I've just checked your pic and I'm more right than I even thought I was.
patrick m you’re talking out of your ass. You have no idea what you’re talking about. You have no self confidence or balls, which is why you go around throwing shade at people who do what they want because they’ve earned it and your ass hasn’t.
Would have liked a higher content of look-book photos/examples but still a great video with great advice. I'm fairly new to your channel but really liking it 👍
I have the same style I did in college because I have the same clothes I had in college and they still fit well. Yes, I'm wearing the same shirts and pants as I did in 1995. Styles come back around, baby! OH YEAH.
Thanks for chiming in!
I’m a high school teacher and I’m amazed at how many patents dress like their kids. My biggest pet peeve: the backwards baseball cap.
In fairness they look stupid on teenagers as well
Maybe they'll file for new patents soon! One can only hope.
I have an inner still, small voice telling me to " ..put on a suit and tie, get a good fedora. "
However, plenty of adults including myself still want to wear decent jeans, t-shirts (in warm weather), hoodies and other comfortable clothes based on our personal tastes regardless of age in places where plenty of others including women are dressed the same which I believe we are entitled to in a free society. I understand the need to dress more modestly in finer places but I am mainly talking about general places
Thanks for these awesome tips!!!
I love your videos, and the advice you give, I used to dress well and the fact of living in the islands, I let myself go, your style is sober, chic and elegant, thank you.
I'm on the wrong side of 40 too.
I've changed my style a lot and now it's more classic minimalist. I prefer a V neck t-shirt over a crew neck. I wear a nice watch in an appropriate mm size. I get all my pants and jeans tailored, and I wear my shorts above the knee now. I dont wear sneakers unless the day or activity calls for it.
For me it's all about how it fits and achieving a timeless classic style for my middle aged butt.
I will probably experiment with trying to pull off some type of street wear, because I love it so much:D
Awesome! Appreciate you chiming in.
Dressing young while in your 50s, yet feeling like you’re still in your 30s, is definitely trying and sometimes difficult! Thanks for the video!
You're very welcome, Shaun.
Thanks so much for your channel. I've become addicted. Having been graced always with an innate sense of style, in my 50s I don't feel comfortable with what I wear. A lot of it has to do with balding and adding some extra weight. However, I do find your channel very useful and I think I am making real progress. This particular video was specially useful. Question, are you available for some one on one work? Thanks in advance.
"When you grow up...." epic line LMAO. Great videos Brian.... love your channel.
Good tips on the age old question
Haha! Cheers.
I’m 16 so I’m probably not the target audience for this but nevertheless there is some really good advice here.
Definitely advice that can be applied across all ages. Though you younguns can get away with a lot more than us old guys!
todroyas - did you know that everyone over 16 was, at one time, 16? 😆
I’m 62 but I remember 16 “like it was yesterday”.
He Spoke Style please let the old guy’s be the old guys, if I could get back to 41 I would in a New York minute. Not knocking you, but I realize now that I’m almost 60, saying I was old at 40 was ridiculous unless I was hanging out with twenty somethings. Valuable content nonetheless! Cheers!
@@lucky37irish62 Right on. At 42, I was mistaken for 28, and 21 year old gals used to take me back to their place.
Not dressing age-appropriately according to others' notions is essential, to say the least.
Nice video very informative and I like the idea of dressing up and wearing sneakers and jackets. So kudos to your good work.
Great advices regardless of age! To chip in my 2 cents, I think getting advice from others interested in fashion is important. Whether that be less specific advice from youtubers to asking your S.O., friends, internet groups etc, sometimes you could get some real pointers in furthering your style. Of course, the most important thing of all, like eveything in life, is to have fun!
Well said! Thanks for chiming in.
Please do a basic wardrobe video! :) But not only casual, bit more business casual please :P
Was thinking something like a basic starter wardrobe. 20-25 essential pieces plus outfits.
@@hespokestyle that's a great idea. Look forward to it haha
@@qarhsi Cheers.
It’s all great and that. I’m very Lucky to dress pretty much the way I like. Fashion, hipsters, smart, whenever I want. I don’t dress to project an image. I dress to feel comfortable. Btw I’m my own boss. Makes a big difference.
Well said!
You are SPOT ON with this informative vid. Just as accurate as the Rifle man (Chuck Conner). I'm 50. As a younger guy growing up I paid a lot of attention to the older Gents. I took bits and pieces from their style of dress and grooming. Along with taking care of myself physically and mentally. Putting positive thought in one's own appearance ALWAYS pays off! People treat you with more respect because they see that you command respect on site. The right attitude and proper appearance goes along way. It's not about doing what everyone else is doing. It's what makes you feel good about yourself. Proper fit, good quality shoes, a shoe shine, nice jeans that compliment you as well as the shirt. Nice tailored suits and quality over coats and jackets.
Bottom Line..... GOOD JOB.... KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!
Tee-shirts, shorts and flip flops are worn by a good majority of men of all ages in Portland, OR for most of the year, even in cold weather. I want to say "please! too much information!" and "why are you content to look like a 16 year old." Dressing is all about comfort, and not caring too much about style. My opinions are frowned upon and I wonder if I should move somewhere else. I started dressing better at 39 and I'm 41 now. I'm new to all of this. I sometimes get the feeling I'm hurting my social standing because I want to dress better. Anyway, I love your content - one of my favorite dudes on the youtube!
Really appreciate the comment and support. Thanks for chiming in.
I live in a hot climate and will wear t shirts shorts and slip on sandals all year round. It would be nonsense to wear longs, socks and shoes. I dont possess a casual jacket. I have one tailored suit that i have worn once for a wedding. My idea of evening wear is a polo shirt and dress shorts or maybe a pair of chinos. I long for the days when i lived in the UK and had a comprehensive wardrobe of suits, overcoats and scarves. No, forget my last comment, pass me another t shirt........😆
I'm forty four. Very valuable film. Thanks👍
You're quite welcome. Thank you for the comment!
I'm just a couple years older than you, Brian. With that being declared, I wear jeans and either a sweater, a polo or a button down collared shirt opened. In the summer I wear either plain or cargo shorts with a polo shirt. People to this day think I'm 43 going on 22. Lol 😁
Hahaha. For sure.
Great Video. Thank you for posting.
You're very welcome.
Your counsel has been heeded. Thank you.
Boom! You're welcome!
After graduating from college, I stopped wearing shorts, athletic shoes and t-shirts, those are for the gym, inside the house or the beach. In my 40, I own fewer jeans than casual or dressy pants.
Thanks for chiming in, Cristobal!
I'm 53 and can wear whatever I like, as long as it fits the occasion :-)
Great!
Its ok to recapture the glory days- but try to look good with age appropriate stuff. Get rid of nose and ear hair sticking out:)))
Ben Bakker I agree
Just be honest to yourself
Anyone can wear whatever they like, doesn’t mean you don’t look like a twat
jyankowsky HaHa! Quite agree... And you made me laugh!
Great advice. A video on basics would be so helpful, too.
Im glad i subscribed this channel ! great advice
I’m almost 40 and still rocking Vans.

You're very welcome.
First time viewer. Very good!
I've been with my wife for 26 years (49 now) and I just wear what she tells me. Keeps the roof over my head and food in my stomach. NUFF SAID 😂😂

@@HKashaf how can anyone be proud to say that?
This is great. Good advise. I will let my dad know.
Awesome!
Thank you, great tips - and oh boy do I need them
I appreciate your input into helping us to be refined in our dressing as we age. I have always loved to dress well and get compliments from the ladies in my family. What they think is important to me. ✅💜
You should dress based on your job requirements, the weather and what you do at the weekend.
If you need to wear a full suit every day you should have about 3-4 and you can wear separates. Navy worsted, mid-grey and a charcoal. Perhaps a flannel too.
Look at Suit Supply, Spier MacKay, Boggi, Ring Jacket.
You should get a couple of sports coat: brown tweed plain, navy wool/cashmere plain too.
Shoes: black cap calf oxford, brown adelaide in calf too, dark brown suede chukkas and maybe a calf derby too. Skoaktiebolaget, Pediwear for instance offer a good selection of quality shoes.
I would keep the shirts simple at first: plain white poplin or twill, a blue one too, and perhaps a striped blue. Charles Tyrwhitt and TM Lewin have good offers if you don't want to spend a fortune. Try Kamakura Shirts too, Proper Cloth or Shirtonomy.
Ties: black grenadine grossa, silk navy plain, burgundy polka dot or purple in twill silk and perhaps a paisley madder. Try Poszetka, Granqvist Store, Berg & Berg, Marinella or Charvet.
A good pair of selvedge jeans would work too, and it would look great with either a white t-shirt or a white oxford shirt. Also get some chinos.
The wardrobe should be built over time and again, it needs to be based around your own requirements.
Awesome comment, Thomas! Appreciate you leaving it for the benefit of all!
Just wear what you want and live your life. This video should be renamed ‘How to conform to society’s expectations of you and be just like everyone else’
Those who want to dress well can take use the advice and be like everyone else who wants to dress well; those who are not interested can ignore this and dress like everyone else who is not interested.
Great video. I am 42 and I am starting to appreciate your videos more and more with each view. Also, that Ali G reference almost made me fall from the chair with laughter ;)
Haha! Great! Thanks for the comment.

I’m 57 and literally wear the same clothes that I did when I was 25. I still have them.
And you are single... Right?
ThePsychopompos1 Blue jeans and pocket T-Shirts never go out of style in the trucking industry or oil field.
So long as your still chasing the same gals .
Lmfao..... Awesome! Screw everyone else's opinion... They're not paying your bills.
Bet the 22yo ladies are all over you with your 1994 clothes
I’m 39 and slim fit jeans with simple plain tee’s or polo shirts with some salt-n-pepper hair seems to work well.
Nice!
Mr. Boombastic I totally agree. I can wear a suit very well, yet at 62 I could never give up my polos, jeans and khakis, and Apery topsides. They’re who I am! 😂. No one has ever said to me that I should dress like I’m older, or 62. And, I’m not so sure what that is or if I’d even want to.
Douglas W. Bush, M.A. Lol... For sure, Brotha’! I believe we can be dapper (as a state-of-mind/like a feeling of perspective), as well as look it. 💯 🤛
Nice video, I am an older gentleman and relatively well dressed as you age classics are your friends, I think Filson gets over looked, timeless.
Thanks, Pete
Thank you for sharing. I really appreciate it
Always great advice!!! "Pay attention to textures..." I love that!!! Hadn't done that yet!!!
Darrell Foster Thanks, Darrell. Give it a try!!
What photo is that in the top left hand corner of your office? I love it.
It's an old photo of Clark Gable. I inherited it from my friend's menswear shop when he retired.
I would love if you could do a basic wardrobe upgrade, as you mentioned! Lovely video as always.
Daniel Sevell definitely in the queue!
I'm in my 40s, thank you for the reminder, I need to work on my style!!!
I'm 65 and wear Jean's and a tee shirt period.
Nice
Ditto 🤙
funny t-shirts ftw
@KnightOfTheKing and you dress like a girl. Lol
Anthony, I hear you brother. I'm 57 and dress pretty much the same as the time I did at the Devo concert I went to in 1980. The benefit we have now are jeans being so much more comfortable than back in the day.
Our personal grooming is crucial to looking good, whatever you’re wearing. Ear/nose hair, stained teeth, bad breath, dry/scaly skin, bad haircut will still detract from a $5,000 bespoke suit!!!
Yes, indeed! Oddly, though, some people can get away with the wild eyebrows thing...
Brian great content! Thank You.
Very well said! Thanks a lot.😁😍
