- IV of Spades perform their single "Bawat Kaluluwa" live on the Wish 107.5 Bus! The "CLAPCLAPCLAP!" cut, according to a press release, is vocalist-bassist Zild Benitez's "warning to his self as he's starting to lose his sense of purpose and getting encaged by thoughts that he always avoids."
The band is composed of Benitez, lead guitarist Blaster Silonga, and drummer Badjao de Castro.

I love their music, the way they perform, their sense of humor, their friendship, "themselves" (Zild, Blaster and Badjao). Nakakatuwang panoorin yung behind the scenes nila, their interview. They have nice voice. Need lang ng training to improve it, and discipline. Avoid cold drinks, sweets, alcoholic drinks, cigarettes and too late of sleep because they can affect their voice badly. I don't know much about music so I'm not exactly sure what part Blaster is playing with the guitar but the guitar sound in this take of the song is sooooo much better and more emphasized than the one available in Spotify. What a shame that unique leave the group, but the remaining artist prove that they can do it. I’m in my late 50”s but I love to listen new and quality music. It’s just i love the way they sing and the arrangement of music they sang. Hope they will look after their voices.
I first discovered iv of spades maybe last year, but i wasn't like a super fan or anything. I just listened to a few songs. I didn't even know the members' names. When this video popped up on my recommended vids, i clicked on it out of curiosity. I didn't even realize they were missing a member! I was honestly surprised at all the comments critiquing them and saying the vocals aren't good enough, or praising them but still saying it could've been better. Honestly, i thought they sounded really good! Maybe some people here need to erase any past memories they have of the previous vocalist when listening to ivos' new stuff? long story short, i came into this song not expecting anything, just kept an open mind and see how i felt about it, and ended up thoroughly enjoying it.
Your right 👍 Like you, last year kulang din nakilala ang IVOS around October. No one introduce me to them. I heard there song Mundo by accident while waiting Kz's main event (Kz Tandingan's Guesting in one of here provincial shows). They were playing local OPM songs while waiting for KZs arrival. My ear I mean my soul got hooked sa intro ng Mundo at yung instrumental sa may bridge part na Hindi Na Maliligaw and it played in my mind the whole time. Wala akong kaalam alam na sikat na pala sila kasi bahay tulog work lang ako. When I researched about them dito sa youtube I thought there old na kasi si Unique yung una kung nakita sa Wish Bus picture but I failed to watch their video that day due to some technical issue when I saw them sa TWBA dun ko palang nalaman na mga bagets pa pala sila and Unique left. Now ive searched them thoroughly, tunog 70s 80s sila which is my favorite genre. Ive listened to their old songs compare it to there new songs and yet there are still good or should I say better. If your a music lover regardless of the vocalist if they are palying great music then I support them. Hope to see them LIVE soon.
