This is a quick unboxing of the Keychron K5 Pro and I am comparing the keyboard to the Steelseries Apex Pro TKL and Logitech mx keys.
This keyboard has shinethrough keys.
I needed to know if the characters on the K5 are backlit and you solved it for me, thank you
I'm a bit late to the conversation, but I think the standard version of the K5 Pro (at least the one with white backlight) doesn't come with backlit keys, and they're kind of a pain to get because they're always out of stock.
only the ISO versions come with ABS shine-though keycaps, which is a complete nonsense but whatever
The Keychron K5 Pro looks and sounds really nice. Gonna get one, one day. Like the low-profile keys. Enjoy!
I'm coming from an MX keys full size, its starting to not work properly (bought it back in 2020). I bought a Logitech G915 because I wanted to stay in the Logitech family, but honestly it was a teeeeerrible experience, the keys felt like they were wearing stilts, very wobbly, the whole layout was slowing me down (I work in finance, so I'm an excel power user). I returned it and just a couple of minutes ago pulled the trigger on the K5 Pro. Thanks for your quick review, the fact that you also have the MX keys and still prefer the K5 Pro was decisive for me. We'll see how it goes.

@@maorberenstein2540 Sorry friend, it has been quite a busy week, yeah, I got the K5 Pro, its working great so far. Couple of notes though, out of the box is veeeeery clacky and since the logitech was super silent I decided to mod it, bought Womier low profile keycap, because the stock ones from keychron seemed a bit cheap, and bought the Cowberry switches from Nuphy, and so far the experience has been awesome, the keyboard sounds way more thocky than it initially did, but I am going to open it and stick some EVA foam inside, at the bottom of the case to see if it further dampens the sound, I say I'm 70% there in terms of the sound that I want out of it. In the overall experience I must say its a 10/10, leaps and bounds better than any traditional keyboard I've owned (Logitech, Razer, HP, etc.). The fact that you can re-program ALL keys to do whatever you want and record macros in them, has been an absolute joy to have, honestly all keyboards should have this feature, I feel like mechanical keyboards just open a new world of possibilities as oposed to the restrictiveness of name brands such as Logitech, in both software and hardware user experience.
I'm waiting for my k5 pro. This will be my 2nd mechanical keyboard. Hopefully it will be durable because my first mech keyboard with romer g switch was terrible :D
I am super happy with mine! It actually makes me want to type even more on my pc 😅
Was it brown or red switches? I know mx keys are super quiet and nice typing feeling. What do you like more? Mx keys vs K5 pro? I'm contemplating!

Thanks for the video sir, I'm contemplating between Logitech MX keys S and Keychron k5 pro, which one is quieter for you and have better typing? keychron looks good, but I'm worried if my finger kind of stuck every time I type as keys are floating

I am not very happy with the quality that the mx keys has. It feels cheap compared to the keychron. The keychron makes me wanna type more 😅 however you need to decide weather you want low profile keys (like mine in this video) or the regular mechanical keys
Hello! Is it possible to a) disable/enable individual keys' lighting on this keyboard? And b) set individual colors per key? All vendors are so ridiculously not clear about that.
I just want to have WASD and 1 to 5 lighted solid with no further effects for better finding these in the dark and this on a wireless 100% keyboard.
Sorry for the late reply, but yes - you can configure all keys individually through the VIA software
@@DigitalJediDk Hello! Thank you. I have this keyboard in between.. and i wasn't possible for me, yet. Neither using the 'usevia' website nor using the offline tool not using this open source tool I could configure the lights like I wanted. They all can just swicth between the pre-configured (and sadly useless) RGB profiles. Could you show how it's done?
Hey! I'm thinking about buying this one but when I check the spec about it, it doesnt say anything about the keycaps being see trough. And I noticed that they are in ur video. Are you swedish by any chance to let me know where you bought this? 😬😆
This was a concern for me as well... I have the Nordic ISO version that for some reason has see through key caps

The keycron is really really good... it makes you wanna type more 😅 The shine through is not SUPER bright but good enough
