Cancer: growth & spread

  • Before a tumour can grow, spread and invade other parts of the body, a lot of things need to happen. When a tumour reaches a certain size, it needs a blood supply to grow further. Cancer cells release chemical messages that trick the body into building this blood supply for the tumour. This is called angiogenesis.
    Some cancer cells may become more aggressive than others and start to spread. When they do, they need to make contact with a dense network of proteins called the extracellular matrix, which is the glue that sticks your body's cells together. Integrins are proteins that connect to this extracellular matrix and navigate the cell by giving signals where to go. In the case of cancer, particular integrins are involved in causing the cells to invade healthy tissue.
    As the cancer cells move around, they can reach a blood vessel, and squeeze in. Through the bloodstream they can travel to another part of the body where they squeeze out and form a secondary tumour in a process called metastasis.
    Learning more about these processes is vital in the effort to stop cancer, and they are a major focus of the excellent research being done at the Tumour Biology Centre of the Barts Cancer Institute in London.

    Whats the conection with cancer and warts ?
    Can cancer be a sort of bacteria ?

    • @brodiecaleb3106
      @brodiecaleb3106 Před rokem

      Nothing at all cancer is not a bacteria it is corrupt DNA resulting in the cells spreading at a alarming rate and not dying like they should be. Cancer is your own body attacking itself that is why anyone can get it and any given age and can't give it to someone else unless a transplant or transfusion has been done and the organ/blood has been accepted into the body. Couple cases of this happened back when cancer wasn't detected in patients that went to science and there organs went to help other people.

    • @PeaceNinja007
      @PeaceNinja007 Před rokem

      I am actually doing research on this. I personally believe that all cancers are caused by some sort of pathogen. Currently, i'm looking at pleomorphic microbes, which are microbes that can morph into different stages of their life cycle (virus-like mycoplasma, somatids,, bacteria of many shape, mycobacterial like leprosy or TB, yeast, mycelial yeast, and fungal being the most complex. According to conventional science, pleomorphism is a myth. But there is rare footage. And there were many doctors in the past who have noted its existence. What conventional science does accept is that 15% of cancers are attributed to pathogenic microbes. But because of many things i've read, I personally hypothesize that 100% of cancers are.
      One thing I love to read are personal testimonials of people using natural remedies to cure their cancer. And i've noticed a common denominator: Most (if not all) the remedies i've read people use are antimicrobial of varying strengths.
      very interesting ..
