I cried during this video because I pray that I can get help with my pain. I don’t know what is going on. I’m only 29 and I always had pain in my bones or body since I was a kid but nobody listened to me they just think I complain. I kept going to the doctor and they send me here and there and say I was just born this way. But today I made an appointment to get a full analysis in my nerves. It’s hard to go to work or stand even for 5 minutes. I feel like my bones are going to break. I try to ignore it because I want to be normal so bad but I hurt everyday and stay home all the time. I hope I don’t have this or something tomorrow I’ll get a referral.

I have read several comments and my heart goes out to many. This is one of the main reasons I enjoy "CZcams". To read others thoughts and comments about very important topics like this one. I too am battling this disease. There is so much more information now than 10, 20 even thirty years ago. There are alternative treatments and procedures available that is not like traditional, conventional, and modern methods. Unfortunately, these methods are not widely publicized nor covered by medical insurance plans. One has to seek information for themselves.

Nice to read your comments. Just today I learnt about my mom that she is bone mets positive through her biopsy. She had a partial Nephractomy of right kidney back in Jan 2018 and biopsy revealed grade 2 cancer. Now since August 21 she started pain in her right collarbone precisely end of right supra clavicle.
I shared it for the reason you mention some other treatments and procedures which may help my mom in relieving her pain!!

Thank you so very much for putting together a very clear and insightful video on a complex matter. I have been searching for a layman's description of metastasis, particularly how it spreads to bone and what that means and manifests in the body, and for one's outlook. I was of the understanding that once cancer metastasized to the bone the prognosis was terminal. Do you offer consultations or just some explanation help in understanding an advanced cancer diagnosis, similar to what you have done here? It has been very difficult to get certain answers from the treating oncologists and sometimes it's better understood, or heard, when explained from a degree of separation. Please let me know if you can or are willing to help

I know my guy has squamous cell carcinoma treated in 2021 to the throat n neck glands. In the year following winter of 2022 he started having back pain. By the spring of 2023 he was having more often pain in his rib area and as doctor in video said itching in the area of spine he later had invasive surgery. In the month of may 2023 he was visiting the hosital sometimes 2-3 times in a week. Sometimes procedures were ordered producing radiology reports that focosed on the area of pain. Pelvic area chest area(he was a heart patient with stents (he was also flown 2x within 1.5 weeks a few months before his 2001 treatment)
Many instances of ER visits between 5/23 and 7/23 that at times he complained of excessive numbing vibrating kind of felling around his mid right rib cage chest pain, crucial abdominal pain and excruciating back pain (especially). The radiating vibration with numbness around the rib with back pain was never truly diagnosed right even though he was a prior cancer patient of head n neck rreatment and had many local network physicians involved with his care it was not paid attetion to even by his primary doctor of who if im correct receives all scans performed, blood work and instruction in education. Thats why a follow up with them is important to do. Oncology post treating doctor passed us off 2nd year scanning. I pushed for answers to help him but most viewed him in ER as either pain medication ADDICT or frivolous. His oncologu treatimg doctors nurse withheld urgent scan referral a few months unitl i called saying their authorizing team was waiting for approval when none wa needed.
This was suppose to be a sense of urgency scan early in spring. Fast forward to last communicatiin with nurse she suggested maybe seeing primary care Dr or maybe an orthoedic Doctor of bones. I could no believe what i was hearing. ANNUAL PET was not referred out soc we called getting it calendared and results showed a distant mets to spine, liver, sternum, pelvic and underarm area close to glands of neck which was mets of tonsil/ throat cancer. His previous primary care Dr prescribed an antibiotic which immediatly spread it to glands and he developed 2 instamt big acorn size lumps. It is incurable and obviously a irreperable mistake on his medical teams part.
He now has rods amd brakets to his lower back but walks around with a walker n excruciating pain for this invasive back surgery that was never spondilities or back spasms, an his abdominal pain not hernias etc or even chest pain unassociated with his heart. He did not need a stress test for his heart doctors. Nor did he need diabetes med switch he needed cooralatiion of the team together. Severely degenerate conditions of spine were seen previously in ER visits. It was Cancer gone out of control and had taken up residence on his spine eating away the bone. These areas after careful research myself point to what should have been spotted at least by camcer center had they listened or not been so busy with their new theme of catering to opening of Breast Cancer Center. Its heartless ro think they had to have known where it could end up😢

I had a friend who was getting a lot of back pain. Her doctor told her to take aspirin. The following year she died of cancer. Many years beforehand she had had breast cancer, which had been cured. It turned out, that the breast cancer had metastasised in her spine. The doctor never checked. Never gave her any scans. That’s the UK NHS for you.

That is so sad. I've just found out a friend who had breast cancer, and recurring cancer, survived all 3 episodes has been diagnosed with bone cancer. She went to Doc with back pain and he initially tested for arthritis 🤷‍♀️ given the patients history why did he waste time. The time wasting for patients who have previously had cancer is awful in the UK, it's costing lives.
