Judge Boyd is the greatest, she is always looking out for the children. I love it when she says , since CPS is not doing their job, I will do it. I don't think that is an insult of CPS, maybe the system but not the cps case workers.

It's sad that it's considered extraordinary when someone dresses appropriately for court than just being ordinary. The creatures of Zoom are far worse though. People are just too damn stupid to use Zoom. Some can't figure out how to turn the camera on, some can't unmute themselves, then there's the ones that are rolling blunts on camera, the harsh language flows freely, my all time personal favorite was the woman that was in.the shower!

She got out of the shower after the Judge called her case & proceeded to do one of those towel hair wrap things women do, while wrapped in nothing, but a towel & started doing her makeup. While she's doing all this her case is going on. The Judge was NOT happy & her lawyer just had a look of "why do I always get the morons?".

Judge Boyd does a lot of good things, such as put the well being of the defendants children first...those that have children..
..but she comes across as if she thinks addiction is a frivolous hobby...
I get the fact that there are consequences for slip ups, but she truly reacts as if she has no idea what addiction really is..
Not everyone becomes addicted as an adult or a teenager that just partying allowed themselves to try something stronger... Some were introduced to Morphine in a hospital as a preteen without any support when they were to get off the stuff.. ...just thrown back into society handicapped, addicted and confused...but if their parents stayed together and the court wasn't involved, ..that kid is screwed..
Not every defendant is a carbon copy of the previous one.
