My main complaint about the game is while the characters look pretty, they're very stiff in animation. These newer animation games have set the bar high for fluidity in terms of animation. I'd like to see that effort continue... especially since I am paying money for these characters. These characters sell the game. So put a good chunk of the budget feasible into them.
Sadly not every game can have good animation, the artwork looks good and the character design decent, I think if it better animation it would be a better game
You know what I didn’t know I agree but I sure as heck do. I guess mentally I just let it slide because I have noticed. I feel like the shooting and controls are tight though I think that kind of makes up for it and it does feel like the enemies are becoming less erratic but the ai definitely needs improvement, I think the game will probably get there.
Well, they are yet starting small. Just give them time atm. At least they made the game instances really huge and non-repetitive. I agree that they should make them a tad more "livelier" tho, altho i don't know if that will work on Yao the sleepyhead.

While you can farm shards to max out characters it seems like it takes 6+ months to max out 5 stars.
Getting useful guns is rough.
I have every character except Kaguya(Didn't pull for her) and I still only have 1 orange gun....the free one they give you.
I'm loving this game.
Quite a few antagonists are named after philosophers Beauvoir, (Kier)kegaard, Ye; they even use Sarte's "hell is other people" line although it doesn't make sense in this game.
This game has huge potential. Devs have reduced the amount of dupe weapons to max out at only 2, which I think is unheard of in gacha. This is the only reason I decided to max Anti-Evil Ward.

Have been playing this for a few weeks and really loved how active the devs have been. They’ve fixed a lot of issues and working on more. Character are fun and the new event for the festival is super great too. Have both fenny 4 star and Fenny 5 star but still the 4 star is my fave.
She’s just so fun and the fact that she’s free, and you can FARM EVERYONES “constellations” for free. Even the limited 5 stars…
Yes it might take 6-12 months but you can literally max out a limited 5 star for free.
I went for the new character which makes me wish I chose Fenny for my 5-star selector.
The 4 star fenny is best used with the single shot shotgun its busted with her active skill, and the single shot shotgun itself has a chance to instantly replenish its single ammo each shot so its unlimited active skill press/cast.
my favourite is Acacia and Fritia. unfortunately they both are made to be support specifically, so I am having some hard time clearing harder content as I made them skill-spamming and ultimate-spamming dps. but I still love using them.

i hope they add more coop feature, coop is fun in this game especially when you already clear all the content in the game, also people with Fritia profpic is funny.. some of them can give 8 puzzle piece in 1 day, some of them change their signature almost everyday and many of them fun in coop, they knew exactly when i need them to skill or ult

Been playing this for awhile, the new Haru Absconditus is my favorite so far. For a long time it was Wild Hunt Lyfe, but the new Haru hits like a truck with pistols and is VERY fun with the ranged melee abilities.

personally since I'm not a shooter game player i don't really like it that much
but man i didn't expect i'd actually like Fenny more than i'd expect. i thought she was gonna be very superficial but damn when she showed she can make out all info needed out of a broken comm i got sold. not to mention she looks really good.

Snowbreak has good solo and co-op combat content and aggressive enemies that actually try to kill you. You get two free 5* standard characters, one from the selector and one from the beginner banner and you get a free 5* weapon. Once you obtained 5*/4* characters you can farm constellations for free everyday. The story is ok, it would be better if it was voice acted. Daily farming is really easy due to the auto clear function. Artifact farming is also way less tedious compared to Genshin. It doesnt have an open world, but the environments in which you fight are implemented very good into the gameplay (f.ex. you can hide behind objects and fight from a high ground). I main 5* Chenxing and 5* Lyfe and 4* characters are also pretty good👍Overall a really solid game!

I love Nita's 3d model in Base, but Fritia and Marian are my favorites overall. Frita being an AR feels great, but being a longer-ranged afficianado, clearing waves out with Marian before I even get to the point is *chef's kiss*
Though, bouncing between HSR, S:CZ, PSO2:NGS, MTG:A, and Marvel Snap is getting to be a bit rough on the "enjoyment" factor when churning through Dailies. On the plus side, at least Starrail and Snowbreak have "Auto" buttons?
Yah Snowbreak is great to do your dailies all from the menu. I feel like I get the most playtime in co op in this one which is kind of satisfying

You forgot to mention (I think) a very important thing!! You can actually max your 5* characters for free. With the memory chips you receive each day, you can farm fragments aka dupes of the characters you own, including limited characters. People did the math and in 8 months you can have 2 5* maxed out completely for free!! I think this is dope tbh.
Ive been enjoying the game a lot and I recommend people to try it for sure. Also, Fenny best girl. I adore the base feature, you can gift decorations for each character's room and they are completely personalize and lok super cool. Also theuir interactions and short stories are great!

Best thing for me is you can farm 5 star dupes in this game my 5*yao and 5*fenny are about to get c1 in 5 days, and for 5* weapons iirc you only need 2 dupes to max them out so if you're whaling it doesn't break your bank

just get 5star yao or fenny which you can get 1 for free and you are set, no need to go for dupes as you can farm the manifestations daily ex: 2 5stars can get M0>M1 every month, 4 star wise get a healer yao is best or you can use chenxing.

Im f2p and lucky enough to get all 5 standar banner 5*. Im well aware of my limited resources, i proceed to gacha on standar weapons only. So far i got 5* fenny gold weapon, 5* lyfe gold weapon & of course 4* yao gold weapon for free. Now im looking forward to get 5* yao & 4* chenxing gold weapons. My only complaint is i cant play my waifus: nita & haru since their skills are not that useful and limited resources

If you have a controller around it makes it easy to aim on ipad/mobile.

I play with the gyro aiming which is way better than the default settings. After some changes I think it's passable. I don't think its any worse than other mobile shooters. There is no way to match controller let alone mouse though.

I like it but idk. I play on mobile and i hate the analog for movement. Why can't i just sprint normally It stop sprinting when i move my analog to other direction i need to keep it move forward to sprint 😑
Been playing this since launch and, well the core gameplay is decent and that's the most important part.
The Gacha: 80 for hard pity idk if soft pity exist, 50/50 like genshin, roll cost 160, but you can farm a unit to max once you just have one copy of them.
Income: The daily income is 50 unlike genshin 60, but the weekly reward is a lot more, their event and their battle pass is a lot more spread out compare to genshin.
Pricing: Basically the same as genshin.
Story: Disappointing, voice acting barely exist the english voicing of some characters could really do with some improvement, the plot itself is also not that great so I mostly just skipped the story.
The Grinding: Im currently at level 65 and I find it pretty chill, upgrading new unit will cost you a ton but once u settle on your six units you will be fine, their artifacts system is also a lot more forgiving than genshin with only 3 pieces and each piece only having 2 substat u have to worry about.
A few gripes I have with the game, the weekly content take a bit too long, you are forced to do coop every week to fill up the gigalink score, each run will take u around 8 mins or up to 15 mins if you are unlucky with teammate, you need to run around 6 run spread across 3 days to make use of the double score.

For anyone new, the missions are like 1 minute or 2. Often times it feels empty. I like the multiplayer though, nothing good in it in general, i just like playing with people.

One thing im disappointed in is the quality of mobile gameplay. As someone who has played 3rd person shooters on mobile before, i am used to using 4 fingers at a time to play a game. However, the image and render quality is something im quite disappointed in. Even on the maximum extreme setting on mobile, it still seems grainy. I understand these are mobile considerations, but it’s still disappointing to see, as i can run star rail and HI3 on pretty high quality, with minimal lag. Snowbreak also has a surprising amount of lag despite it being grainier than my other games. Maybe its a lack of code efficiency?
Only reason I tried out the game because it indeed feels like The Division 1

My extra 2 cents: this game is totally F2P friendly, but the gacha sucks, if that makes sense. Cherno is awesome don’t sleep on her but you need C1 and 2 healers, she’s just fun. Co-op is fun. Don’t sleep on 4-star Chenxing she is really great and very fun. It’s worth picking wild hunt lyfe just for her voice line after a mission and her new skin makes her skill animation into fireworks which is just perfect. Ok now for the real advice, build who you get matching weapons for because a character weapon pair is way harder to get in this game than any other gacha I’ve played besides FFBE and I’m sure we all know how fucked up that system was. So ya base your decisions on whatever weapons you happen to get. Just build chenxing she doesn’t steal the show but she’s a lot of fun in co-op with her electric fence things and will really help your team just don’t expect to get all the damage or even a large percent of it until you invest in her but I’m pretty sure the potential is there and she’s the only character I have used that bursts pretty much nonstop
7:32 I can tell you the name of a free game with an actually good monetization system that is non intrusive to gameplay. Warframe. Only cosmetics, if you have time and learn how to you can also farm the premium currency so even that is free, and it is not hard to farm.

what i hate until level 70/80 resources will be faster run out, even gacha rate is too low or difficult. but what i love this game is just the concept like scifi apocalypse mixed war waifu X'D but sadly no open world like defiance or the division just challenge modes over and over again until feels boring empty.
tried the game after you mentioned this game in one of your video (prob sponsor also). played for a week, got kaguya before the banner runs out, uninstalled the game. i was a competitive pubg mobile player (yep competitive pubg mobile do exist) and the controls is really good no cap you got Bluetooth controller support, solid gyroscope wich is actually works unlike genshin impact gyro. the foundation is pretty solid but the game gets repetitive and grindy fast. not a huge fan of honkai impact level based story so it kinda fall flat for me. nonetheless it got good potential in the gacha game scene as a pretty decent one among many others. 7/10
yeah, neural simulation is the only challenging mode imo.. i wish they added more bosses or like end game modes

the only thing that bother me about this game is, what does pistol role do ? like wtf, just use Yao or Marian if you want to be marksman, better control and more dmg.. or if you had trouble for aiming, just use Fenny.. pistols making Kaguya kinda meh for me

The gacha system is not free to play at all, I keep getting the same 4 star character and lost a 70/80 pity and a 50/50 pity not getting the character I wanted which unmotivated me and deleted the game

i think the concept can be implemented in cool ways to enhance the context of playing the game , but indeed it appears for gacha's it's literally only done as a way to limit player behavior.....
