- While hauling sand in our Volvo truck, we backed a little too close to the edge and almost flipped! We brought up the Volvo 290 excavator to save the day. Good job guys!

I enjoyed the video from my farm in Mississippi. I came here after watching your operation on Lets Dig's channel. You have an amazing operation with tons of moving parts. I salute you for being able to keep it all going. Amazing!
Thanks over in Mississippi!!
Bravo Mr. Diggs you handled that well, the rapport you have with your employee's fosters a great work environment...👍👍
Thanks 👍 we got a great group of guys!
Man that is respect no stress handle then move on good boss right there
Good jobs guys. Anderson did a great job by stopping and getting help. Definitely avoided a much worse situation. He's a keeper. ❤
He’s a great kid!
Awesome! Just found you through Chris and Letsdig18. You are absolutely awesome in how you dealt with that! I worked for places that would have been screaming and carrying on. Good job at the recovery and way to be a leader! I'm jealous I live in PA little to far of a commute to put in my application!!!
Hello in PA, I dont yell too often but if I do it’s gonna be a bad day! Thanks for watching friend
New subscriber. Came over from Letsdig18 and Dirt Perfect! Loved the tour you gave those guys! Looking forward to following your content.
Welcome aboard!
Great job! I am from Lincoln California outside Sacramento. Really enjoyed your DP podcast and your upbeat positive attitude!
Thanks for this comment, it means a lot!
“Plan comin together like butt cheeks”…🤣🤣🤣 here hold my
🍻beer🍻 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Thaknx for the early mornin chuckles
🙋♀️💖🇨🇱
🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂👍
Hahahahaha, one of my favorite sayings. Thanks for watching!!! 🍻
You laughed & smiled all the way through. Anderson was smart, even with a little experience he knew walk away & get some help!!! It was a very relaxed atmosphere and no one panicked. Well done fellas!! 😊
Glad it was safe resolved. Those boxes were designed to survive being tipped over with only scratches, maybe a new dent or two. They were NOT designed to roll down a 30 ft embankment!! 😂😂.
John, Chris’ uncle, dumped the Volvo 35 they have and it was the first time. He laughed it off and Chris just set it backup with the box elevated as when it dumped, but it was a couple of minutes & all was set. The dump was back on all 6 tires and working as if nothing happened. The excavator works well setting the truck straight.
He did the right thing getting help. Thanks for watching!!
That was a close call! Mr.Diggs! Great turnout! 👌👍! From Houston Tx! 😊
Thanks!!
NW Mississippi here, came over from Chris & Mike. Also watch Diesel Creek & C & C Equipment. Great job
Hey there in Mississippi! Thanks for coming over and checking out my channel. I sure do appreciate it!
In Dutch we have a saying "Zand erover!" ("Cover it with sand!"), meaning "Let's forget about it!". It's shorter, so you may prefer it. ;-)
(Like several others, I came here via DirtPerfect, but I found myself subscribed already. On DP's channel, I mentioned your cutter dredger as a familiar type of equipment.)
Oh yes: I love your positive attitude toward your men!
I like that saying! Appreciate you watching and commenting
If all employers took as much pride in their employees as you do, the work force would not be as bad as it is. Great channel, enjoy your videos 👍🏻. Positive can do attitude, and the appreciation you show is awesome!!! Hey man also enjoyed you on DPs podcast this morning too.
I certainly do appreciate this comment! Thanks for watching the podcast and I appreciate you commenting

Could’ve been worse for sure. Thanks very much for taking the time to watch as well as send me a comment!
East Side of the UK, and 37years in a hard rock quarry. Have had to deal with numerous similar situations on various tips and stockpiles. Your recovery went as well as could be expected...no damage, no one hurt = a good day at the office..😊👍
We do have to have a lot more edge protection over here by law...a minimum of 1.5 metres or half the tyre height of the biggest vehicle using it, whichever is the greater. Still get trucks and loaders getting into difficulty though....always find soft spots especially after heavy rain..😱
That dozer looks a nice piece of equipment...it didnt know it was pushing that sand....effortless...😊👍
Hello in the UK, thanks for watching & commenting! That dozer is one tough machine!
New subscriber thanks to Mike and Chris and glad to find you, that's a great operation you have there. Your truck driver sure got lucky and glad they got him out safely. I'm from Kentucky and any content you have to show is fine with me lol. Have a good one!
Thanks for the sub in KY!
California here. Coming over from Mike, Chris, Clint, and Matt. Gotta say that I'm impressed how low key y'all were. I would have expected to be yarded off the machine and sent to run a hand shovel. Ya gotta learn but some people aren't at all forgiving when you cost them some production.
Hello out there in California! Thanks for watching and commenting!!👍👍
Teamwork makes the dream work. Loved the perfectly placed “stuck poop” ad. 😂
Was there one really in there?!😂 that’s funny if there was, I have no control over what you do but in the video 💩

I just subscribed to your channel. I "discovered" you on Dirt Perfect's channel, and then on LetsDig18's. I commented on DP's video, and you replied. I think you are so amazing! What do you at your facility is incredible. You take so much waste and recycle it! Bless you!!! After watching this video, I have decided that you are the BEST BOSS EVER!!! OMgosh...it was a very dangerous situation, and you made the guys relax and get the job done. I was on the edge of my seat, and was thrilled that everything turned out so well. YOU ROCK!!!

Hey Ryan !! Just a suggestion , but get yourself a 2.5in. Yankum rope for heavy pulling as if it breaks ,, it won't do the damage to the equipment like when the cable breaks & NO metal slivers to worry about when hooking up !!! Great save on the truck !! Have a good week & Thanks for the video !! 👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks for the tip, might have to check’em out. Thanks for watching & commenting!
Edge of the seat one this, really enjoyed it, glad all worked out in the end....thanks for sharing, great machines and guys driving them....Paul. 🙂

Good to see a boss not belittle the workers. Experience is learned from deals like this. New sub from Let’s dig
Thanks for the sub, and I try to treat everyone like I want to be treated.
I was a security guard at a mine. I could see an ore truck across the valley was in an "unusual' position at the edge of the stockpile.
Went over there up to the truck and the driver was standing in the doorway with his foot on the brake, rear wheel broken through the edge of the pile, nose well up. I drove over to the mill to find the foreman.
We returned, the foreman fired the driver and I removed him from site. Apparently he had flipped an ore truck the week before.
After returning, I noted the space between the front tire and the body had increased. Soon a big loader arrived from the open pit and the foreman suggest he hook a cable to the front of the truck. The loader operator refused. Said he wasn't going over with the truck.
So the loader stood by at the front and a dozer started pushing the edge of the stock pile in behind the back of the ore truck. I could see that the truck was even higher in the front than when I had returned a few minutes earlier.
All too soon the front wheels lifted off the ground as the truck started sliding backwards over the edge. The loader operator drove towards the front of the truck raising his bucket and managed to get it perched on top of the bumper as it traveled past. He cleared the top of the bumper by inches.
I was standing a few of yards away from the bumper at the time. Once it started going over it went up so quickly. I thought the loader might bunt the truck and knocked it over. The front wheels of the loader and the ore truck both lifted off the ground a couple of feet Then I though the loader might slip off the bumper as the angle became so steep. Neither happened. The loader's weight counteracted the weight of the loaded truck and they both settled back down onto the ground.
With the truck stabilized, the dozer managed to back-fill enough of a ledge behind the ore truck that it couldn't do that back flip. At the end of the day the only damage done was a small hole where a tooth from the bucket had punctured the fiberglass just above the bumper on the front of the truck.
Having had THAT experience in the past, seeing the cable being attached and watching the truck slide sideways when it was pulled I was primed and ready for what might unfold next. Glad to see not much further developed.
Interesting story thank you for sharing!
@@TheRealMrDigg It was fun remembering it and typing it out right. It happened in the 70's at the Giant Yellowknife Mine.

Good boss right there, not mad at all. The only thing you sounded close to being mad about was no gloves and not putting on a seatbelt.
I try not to get upset about things. I don’t always succeed but I try.
It happens boss. I've come across your channel while doing some studying, and saw that you sorted out the clay. Again my basic understanding was that you discarded this, but I was going to ask what the economics of this looked like. Kaoline can be made into kaowhool, bedinite clay can be used for health stores and or fracking. Could add some value to you, also a cheap trick I learned in business is to invite geologists out from schools. You can get them to do the identification and you get a tax write off for time contributions to educational services.
Again thanks for the videos, just thought of this when I saw your gold sleuth.
From South Carolina. Seen the video with let'sdig18 and like your content

Been there - done that. Went down backwards after the loader driver undercut the pile. That was an experience I'll never forget. I never forgave the loader driver either. It was an old Oshkosh single axle 4 WD pit truck. Thank God I didn't lift the bed. Good jub pulling it out!
I bet that was some ride!!!

Great content there is 2 types of articulate dump trucks in the world those that have flipped over and those that are about to yours on the other hand are just waiting to on the Sand most unstable surface you can put them on great Job to the operator on this particular hill he was at least smart enough not to cowboy it and not only risk His life but save you a lot of expenses I've had them go over sometime you get lucky and set them back up other times you figure out really quick that the high premium insurance you pay for isn't worth a crap haters going to hate but until they are the ones signing the check for everything they will never know keep the video coming tell Aaron he needs to work on his commentary while you running the deere Mike might have to send MBHTS to assist him with that 😂😂😂😂
