Here’s what I think happened… she fell in love with this dude because he sold her a dream. He proposed to her and she was convinced they were going to be together forever. He swindled her into giving him a 30k loan for a “business venture” and when he “cashed out” and went to repay her, he used bad checks. So now the story is he stole her money because it sounds better in her mind, but that doesn’t make any sense. Not saying she didn’t get scammed per sé, it just didn’t happen the way she says it did 😅
