#MayDecember #NataliePortman #JulianneMoore #Netflix - Krátké a kreslené filmy
Julianne and Natalie are flawless as expected, but having seen the film, the actor nominations campaign clearly needs a third person because I was not ready for how brilliant Charles Melton's performance was. Best supporting actor nominees better be shaking in their boots.
Which one should be shaking? DeNiro? RDJ? Willem Dafoe? Ryan Gosling? Mark Ruffalo?
I don't think anybody is shaking. LOL
Aaron Taylor-Johnson needs to watch this
SAY IT LOUDERRRR
I KNOW
Older dudes marry younger women all the time, why is the opposite suddenly an issue? I'm a dude and I'd never date an older lady but I have no problem with two consenting adults making their own decisions (aaron and sam)
@@jaypostsvideos4011 My parents literally have a 12 year age gap, my mother being the older one. The difference is they met and began dating when he was in his late 20's and she her late 30's. They married at 27 & 39, I was born when they were 29 & 41. My opinion is nothing to do with the woman being older, perhaps refrain from making such bold assumptions. This is about him being in his teens and her being a middle aged woman when they met. If it was a middle aged man and a girl under 20 there would probably be even more outrage so I have no idea how you're claiming it's only a problem because the woman is the older one?
@@AlM22she was actually his second grade teacher and so met him at 7-8. Then she first 🍇 him when he was twelve, not yet a teen.
Having just seen this film in London I can honestly say this is Todd Haynes’ best film and Natalie and Julianne are out of this world. Give them every award!!!
Now why am I not surprised to hear this?? Soooo looking forward to it!!!
this is better than Safe?
Its the guy who's getting the awards, he's won two already. Natalie and Julianne got outshone maybe.
Neither of them are winning it. Mark my words.
@joesteel7409 yup, Charles Melton is a revelation as the young husband of Julianne Moore and has won two Best Supporting Actor honours so far (NYFCC, Gotham, Boston). An Oscar nomination is assured.
Natalie Portman and Julianne Moore in a Todd Haynes movie? Sign me up, always a fan of Haynes' work 🙌
AGREE!! Still impatiently waiting for it here!!
Natalie doing Julianne. Is a dream?
Julianne Moore is everything a movie and script needs. There is no second to her. special.
She was rubbish as Clarice and so that always lowered my opinion on her. I'll watch other movies and hopefully see a different her
This is not the film by which you can judge her. She is one of the best actresses in the world. Her acting is deep and rich, never a flat character. A rich career from the 80s to the present day. For me she is a master actress! Rich role list.@@Aenigmakil
@@refaeladir noted! I will watch more 👌🏾
This is the creapiest non-horror movie I’ve ever seen.
All Todd Haynes movies are like this. Watch Safe, it's even creepier than this. Creepier than most horror movies.
Natalie is one of those people in this universe whose beauty doesn’t fade with age. She is absolutely gorgeous and of course talented.
I got confused by this comment because I was sure I was watching the trailer of a movie made in the 2000s. I had absolutely no idea this was new. But this just confirms your point. Also Julianne Moore.
Indeed like one of the vampire 🥰
She's not old.
Age? She's 42 not 82. 😅
@@maytanner7044 The beauty is not the same even before 40 sometimes, let's not act like we don't know that.
Mary Kay Letourneau and Vili Fualaau relationship and later marriage. He was 12 and she 34. Got pregnant with his child awaiting sentencing, got out on parole and got pregnant again. Got sent back to prison. Married him on exiting prison. Seperated in 2019. She died in 2020 aged 58.
Present location: 😈 🔥
Julianne better win her second oscar
Or what?
What are you prepared to do?
@@Geronimo_Jehoshaphat it's never that serious.. We all know academy sucks at picking winners anyway so
@@LVHVOGUE
The Oscars are an absolute farce.
The Academy is a back-slapping/back-biting/back-stabbing brood of boarish brow-beating busybodies bent-over by blackmail and bruised ego, narcistically preening perfumed platitudes from a hivemind hegemony as ulterior agendized political puppets gatekeeping to gaslight the gullible with groveling sycophantry and esoteric admonishments to suckle and slurp like censoriously stunted and stifled slaves salivating for their social status stipends from a never satiating trickled teet of toxic guiling and glibness so they can become servile to a carnality cult clique as wound-up, goose-stepping, hand-wringing, fist-clinching, contrived trend stumpers for its grievance guild in cynically exploiting vapid victim venerations as mawkishly maraudered martyrdom mascots to manipulate counterfeit causes from obfuscating smokescreens for sordidly subversive deeds of detrimental demoralization and decay to keep and control every vier of vanity under a heavily imposed thumb of forcefully alledged altruism.
Nothing to do with rewarding the merited innovations and incarnations within the arts and sciences of the cinematic milieu, even though it is all crafty in the way of insidious ingunity to counterfeit credence.
@@Geronimo_Jehoshaphat if you put it like that
@@LVHVOGUEyou muse be delusional thinking there’s a better performance than Emmo Stone this year.
Equal parts touching and perplexing, Todd Haynes and screenwriter Samy Burch depicts a two-hander character study that showcases Charles Melton in an hereto-unheard of yet mesmerizing performance alongside the great Natalie Portman and Julianne Moore.
Since June that I have both Julianne Moore and Natalie Portman in my early acting predictions. I guess I'm sticking to it.
Agree 100%. I predict that Natalie will get her 4th nom, in Lead, and Julianne, her 6th in Supporting.
this score is so over the top but it fits perfectly somehow
omg agree! that piano was so loud and dramatic
It' giving a Aaron Taylor-Johnson - Samantha Louise vibe
Whooooaaaa this looks so good.
Fyi, the piano refrain is from 'The Go Between' (70s version) - this adds an extra layer to what we're seeing here. It's also about the corruption of innocence
The wigs are not giving, but I here for it anymway.
So basically they're like hey let's make a movie about Mary Kay Letourneau, but use different names, and make it all artsy.
yessssssssssssssssssssss
exactly!
Me encantan estas actrices hacen muy buenas interpretaciones de sus guiones 👏🏻👏🏻
Eres muy fantástica y hermosa.
Amazing! Can't wait
A triumph. A true triumph.
I just saw this movie yesterday. I am amazed with Natalie's performance. She is in a whole different level. What an ACTRESS.
This movie was just a lot of hot air. Infuriating.
This is about Mary Kay and Villi Fualau right?
So lemme get this straight: an adult woman had an affair with a 7th grader (a child, a minor). They are Still together. Now, years later they're making a movie about it, and Now, the actress who's playing the woman in That movie... Is now falling in love with the Same boy that the woman fell in love with. Am I reading this right?
I think it's more that the actress is obsessed with copying/method acting the woman to an obsessive degree to the point that it's messing the couple up
Bruh. I'm sitting here wondering if Hollywood is trying training the audience to sympathetise with pedophiles or is it different when done by women?
@@SomeOfMyBusinessit’s definitely not. In the trailer you can see the husband slowly getting more bitter about the fact that he was taken advantage of
@@SomeOfMyBusinessshe’s not being portrayed sympathetically. This is meant to be a disturbing drama and the audience is meant to be from the point of view of the actress being disgusted by the situation.
Isn't this based on a true story?
Master! with two of my favourite actrices... Can't wait!
This looks like a really interesting and well acted drama
Cant wait for this 🧎🏻♀️
gotta love natalie portman❤
And Julianne Moore.
Julianne Moore is far better than Natalie Portman!
u wish! @@angelabayern
This is just a weird dramatisation of the Mary Kay Leternau and kid thing
Julianne X Natalie
When butterfly flying, it's so beautiful.
Buzz Lightyear: Bots, bots everywhere!
Woody: _/*shudders*/_
love this film
I smell Julie’s 6th Oscar nom and Natalie’s 4th.
natalie and julliane coming for their second oscars
Nope…..but it looks like Charles Melton may get his first!
charles melton was amazing in this
This trailer is the cinemagraphy perfection.
A very difficult film for the macrons
😂😂😂
Haven't seen the movie yet. But seems to be worth a look. Gave me some 'Persona' vibes.
This looks so good!
Insecure people are very dangerous , aren't they ? I'm secure . That's the most bone chilling line I've ever heard in film .
I saw the film but I don't think I understood what Grace was referring to with this sentence. Why is the actress shocked after hearing it?
Natalie is a timeless beauty.
Can’t wait 🎉
I didn’t enjoy the movie much as it was slow paced and there’s not really a conclusion at the ending. The good thing about the story is that they portrayed the women as abusers, you automatically feel bad for the guy for being used by both of them. Irl people seem to have a hard time understanding how this is the same as sxly abusing a girl, while in fact it’s been a harmful situation for a boy as well, so much it actually still bothers/traumatized him as a married adult
best review thank you..i hate it when all comments are about the actors/actresses we already know how good they are geeez i want to know about the movie is it worth watching or total waste of time and im sure most feel the same..thank you again
when will this movie appear on Netflix?
It’s giving strong Persona Ingmar Bergman vibes
ok c'est moi ou c'est la musique de 'faites entrer l'accusé'???
The name Todd Haynes should be enough for you to check this out
They both are ageless beauties!
Charles Melton deserves that Oscar!
Almost fell asleep watching the trailer.. Wow
J'ai aimé ce film car j'aime bcp le piano entre autre🎹
Padme! ❤
The story of french president and this wife
Inspired by Mary Kay Letourneau and Vili Fualaau
Fix the Strike.
A movie about a real female pedo, so stunning and brave!
just watched this film in theatre, gosh, it's intriguing. It seems that both Gracie and Joe have PTSD, in particular Joe who acted like a child in the bedroom scene near the end of the movie. I despise Elizabeth for crossing the ethical line to sleep with Joe in order to immerse herself in Gracie's life, of course for the purpose of Elizabeth's upcoming movie. So the question is : "whether art can be amoral"? The motifs of the movie are mind blowing.
Did you actually watch the Movie? If it was a Man. Would you have the same feelings there? Supporting the Hollywood peadophilia? See Mell Gibson's Movie.
1:35 “It’s the moral grey areas…”
He was 12 years old, this is pretty black and white morally wrong.
Undoubtedly. Although in this specific part you're missing out a lot of context here. She was talking about "the kind of roles she tends to choose on her movies", not about Gracie (but does subtly, trying not to upset the daughter, who finally ends up being upset inmediately nonetheless)
this cure my insomnia
Having trouble understanding the line, " Intricate people are very dangerous ". Is it insecure or intricate? Whatever it is, May December will be represented by this simple sentence
Insecure
Natalie Portman 😩
natalie eu te amo
Mary Kay Letourneau story?
I definitely think that's what they are referencing.
😊
I clicked really fast
ah yes the origins of Rue Bennent Father
How is it that it was Australia that did the interview with them
But Netflix Australia is not letting thiss air 😮
Austrialian netflix has more morals than Hollywood
Julianne Moore cries in this ? 1:51
That is unheard of . . .🤔
1:31 AND I AM WHATEVER YOU SAY I AM IF I WASNT THEN WHY WOULD I SAY I AM - IN THE PAPER THE NEWS EVERYDAY I AM YA I DONT KNOW THATS JUST THE WAY I AM -
I cannot wait to see this . Love when women master the plot :).
Was this filmed in Savannah?
Yep! The story takes place in the Savannah area, though you won't hear any Southern accents.
oh mama….
Definitely looks like Persona by Tarkovsky
Bergman.
They shouldn’t make movie like these. Someone wrong could be watching this and glamorize it.
I'm Sold!!!
Nice 👍 nice South Park 🤝
Where is coryyyy?!! Duuuh 😤
I don't know how to comment on this situation when the 34yo looks younger and the 7 grade looks even older than her
this was a strange movie. guy playing Joe was really good. a regular guy, serious, but deeply very fragile and missed out on a lot in life
He was 12 years old! why they keep saying seventh grader?
Two women in a movie? It looks perfect.😊
Mary Kay Letourneau case?
Yes
He has 12 years?😂
no, the movie takes place years after the incident (when he was 12). his character is 36
Well that all kind of messed up 😅
wish they would kiss
Mary Kay Letourneau Story???
Natalie❤
recently I was trying to find this movie I watched years ago on ifc about a teacher with her middle school student but I can't find it anyone, does anyone know what I am talking about? was hoping this trailer rings some bells.
could be Notes on a Scandal?
JULIANNE MOORE GREAT IN MAY DECEMBER !!!!
No new Annihiliation. Count me out.
omg who wrote the theme song? it's soooo good with the keys.
Me? I know who I am. I'm just a dude, playin' a dude, disguised as another dude.
As long he got hotdog 😂these women gonna get embarrassed 😂
The three main characters were strong, capable and their performances were raw. I have so much to say but I won't. This topic and the actress using this family in my opinion missed her mark.
ay que rico! jaja
Trailers that tell too much episode 15867. I don't need to see the movie now, thanks
Isn't it based on true story??
Yes
Does natalie's husband brian
millipede really have a lot of legs
Two legs are enough when you know how to use them.
What's with the Drew Barrymore lisps
The weird feeling of watching this movie in France ruled by Macron.
😂😂😂
