filing after breaks the seal. you should have filed before the top gel
+Desere Olson thanks for pointing it out! Depends what gels are used. If it's hard gel tip without the natural nail underneath (new set, or natural nail is filed down from underneath) it's totally fine I find xx
Filing the nail in the end is a big failure :D i think...
Tarr Dora Well Tarr, not every has PERFECT application and PERFECT filing. Sometimes you do have to go in and touch up, especially if you're top coat is a little more fluid. I find you can get weird tails in the tip of the nail.
Of course always top coat and cap after each time you have to go back and file. There really is no need to come on her channel, watch her video and then tell her she failed. Could of just left it with a helpful hint for the next time she does nails.
I find a light file at the edges of a topcoat really sharpens the look up and doesn't affect any seal whatsoever -xo

I've tried this method but failed because I use a makeup sponge, and it breaks off and crumbles onto the nail, not a smooth effect. What kind of sponge are you using?

@Rose Melanson it's waaaaay more than needed. She built the apex before even applying the blue..... This nail is way too thick. I'd be so mad if I left the salon with nails this thick.

Chimica Espinosa thanks for the suggestion, I might do that type of video some time :) I do use lots of different brands like Crystal Nails, Emily, Cameleon company, Brillbird, Brisa or anything good quality I find x
FINALLY A TUTORIAL THAT DOESN'T USE TWO COLORS BLENDING :D. I wanted to use black polygel for nail art in the future, but you can only buy black in packs and I have no idea where to get affordable black polygel.
Aliexpress.. I use the brand Rosalind. You can get a 15ml bottle for 2 bucks and change

Shagun Kumar I'm not sure if I understand correctly. I use brisa gel as a top coat and after curing light t I remove the sticky layer with some alcohol based cleanser. Hope this helps :)

I was asking about the alcohol based cleaner which you used at the end.because sometimes I made my nails at home but at the end step when we colour the nails nd that is not completely dry or I can say looks fixed or shiny. Hope you understand what I mean to say. Thsnks n Regards
I actually just use hand sanitizer spray for it and it works well 🙂

Thank you! This colour was mixed by myself. If you'd ever would like to try it, I used a little of Neon Reflex Blue and a tiny drop of Neon Toxic in some Alpine Snow. All from EMI gel paints ☺️ x

Lisa Smith these are the regular ones, you can get them on ebay. I just sculpt the tip to it using a nail form x
What kind of sponge is that? Do u have a link? I bought a nail sponge from amazon and after i apply the top coat, the dots wont disappear 😭

I love your video you make it look so effortless and easy. Do you think gel is easier to work with than acrylic? I recently started doing my own nails with acrylic a few months ago and it's been rough I find it difficult to work with. Should I keep trying to work with it or do you feel gel is easier? Maybe one day I'll been this good too lol
+Selena Nina hi! It's totally up to you, if you have an opportunity you can try out how gel works for you and see for yourself. I think in jo that cases it's just what you get used to :) i used to work with acrylic and liked it, but apparently I'm allergic to it.. Xx
