- Thanks for stopping by! In today's crafting adventure I have a step by step tutorial showing you how to make this creepy Beware Halloween wreath. This awesome Dollar Tree craft will up the creep factor for any front door. All materials came from the Dollar Tree. Scissors, Glue gun & glue sticks, heavy duty wire cutters
Optional:
Rotary cutter and cutting mat
Materials: (All from Dollar Tree)
1 pkg. pipe cleaners
2 large skulls
1 pkg. bling spider rings
2 Halloween ribbon 9ft.
6 pkg. black mesh
2 pkg. purple mesh
1 pkg. small skulls
Beware sign
14 inch wreath form
Total Cost: $17.00
Tip: You will need 15 pieces of cut ribbon and about 60 bundles total to fill the wreath. 15 black with ribbon, 15-16 purple and the rest plain black (30).
I couldn’t find the Beware sign so I used a SPOOKY sign. It turned out fabulous!!

What an awesome tutorial! I enjoyed watching and learning from the video. Dollar tree stores near me didn’t have all the materials required and I did some improvising. Turned out really good, which was a thrill. Can’t wait to hang it on my front door.

Michelle, i already had the sign. After watching your video, i decided to make one like yours, except, I'm using a spider theme. Haven't decided on using either purple or lime mesh w/black mesh, yet.
I did one and was happy how it came out. Of course Dollar Tree didn't supply a lot of Halloween stuff this year so I had to improvise.

Hi Michelle, I'm a brand new subscriber.....this was such a fun video....I will definitely be duplicating, The only difference is I will make my own sign (cause that's how I row my boat..lol) and I may change up the mesh colors and technique a bit, it depends on the mood I'm in. I just love this idea and your tutorial was super. I just had a little bit of a time hearing you with volume turned all the way up. I will be back to follow all your fun!!!!!! I love making wreaths
I was taking them to nursing home, putting on patients doors if they wanted one some are hanging in their family visitation room
I do charge for them.
The charge is a big smile from the residents
I do miss them all

Hello! Lovely wreath! Around 4:45 when you're gluing the pipe cleaners to the wreath and board to the ends, do the wires stay sticking up? I don't think I understood where the pipe cleaners go on the outer ends.
The pipe cleaners pull down the wreath rings that do not lay flat on their own. So glue down under the ones that are lifted and then tie them down. Hope that helps.
We must not have gotten the right mesh because we need to go back for another 6 rolls! Or maybe we wrapped the rolls too tight, LOL. Love it though! Thank you so much! Found you on one of my Halloween groups!❤ My daughter and I are having a blast making this!!

I made this today. Thank you for an excellent tutorial. Mine turned out exactly like yours. What do you think about taking the purple gems from the rings and glueing them in as eyeballs on the skulls ? Would that be overkill ?
