- Good morning, I have a fun Nightmare Before Christmas inspired Jack Skellington wreath. This DIY deco mesh Halloween wreath is easy to make and budget friendly. I will show you step by step the wreath making process and introduce you to my latest no fray deco mesh wreath method the rose bundle method. This method is easy to learn and gives you a beautiful base with Dollar Tree deco mesh. This method also works well with 10 inch mesh. That looks awesome! Adding the. Lack border around Jack is what makes the piece!! You can just cut the Jack Skelton out and glue him onto the board then paint over him. Your surface does have to be smooth though.
I’ve had issues with that in the past, with a paper than lifts and curls.

I am making a wreath of nightmare before Christmas. I am using a outdoor stake that was broken and in clearance last year from Walmart. I myself tried to make it last year but didn’t know quite how to make it) slowly found some pieces that would go and I’m finishing it up and gifting it.

To get the right image on the board , instead of the reverse .All you have to do, is turn the tracing paper over before you put it on the board, and pencil the picture on the back of the paper . Then you can put the picture the right side down and get the face in the proper way.

I love me some Jack, That is really cute!!! Is there a reason you just didnt modge podge your picture to cardboard?? I think I would of maybe tried modge podgie that paper to cardboard im not a good painter.. I was thinking you could of attached the cardboard circle to metal plate too?
Mod podging paper onto a wood piece and then putting it outside does not last anywhere near as long as painting the piece.

Have you tried the rose bundle method with 10 inch mesh? If so, how many rolls would I need to fill a 14 inch frame?
Yes it will work with 10 inch mesh. You will need to figure out how many you are going to need, it depends on so many factors but you will need at least 2 10X10 rolls maybe even a third depending on how thick you want the base.

Yes, you can do it with 10 inch mesh. And depending on the mesh if it’s really thick you may be only able to do one rose per bundle.

Michelle have you ever done a heart shaped Halloween wreath? I keep thinking about it but not sure what to do. I have a few heart forms I'm not sure what to do with and love doing Halloween stuff
I have not done a heart shaped Halloween wreath. You could, I am thinking day of the dead or maybe a steampunk Halloween wreath might work.

What exactly size is the black mesh that you got from Dollar tree
A standard role of dollar tree deco mesh is 6 inches at 5 yards
