This is a full Route visual / Timelapse (Live View) of TFL London Bus Route 142 which runs from Watford Junction Station to Brent Cross Shopping Centre. This route will be operated by London Sovereign RATP Group from Edgware Bus Garage (BT) from 6th January 2018. The buses that will run on the route include the Alexander Dennis Enviro400 Diesel double decker, class ADE.

Garston have operated Route 142 since the birth of the route and tomorrow (06/01/2018) it transfers over to Sovereign. Who’s looking forward to this service change?

BusesInLondon more than looking forward to it as I don't like arriva. However I will miss the VLAs and VLWs and the variety the route provided seeing as tomorrow both the 142 and 258 will use the same fleet. Tomorrow is actually my brother's birthday and I'm taking him for a birthday ride on the sovereign 142! If only I had a birthday present like that from TFL!

I still remember when going to Watford the bus I would get (T.F.L.) would be Arriva and now it's London Sovereign. I can't wait until the H18/H19 go to RATP.

Nowadays, 142 is still owned by RATP, but has been converted to an eco route, meaning that they only use Enviro400EV buses now.
