Great visual. Very excited for this transfer. I think some DWs will go and some VLAs will go once this has transferred and I don't expect a single double deck outside of possibly DW190/1 and T199 to survive past january. Those three buses might be kept as spares for the 340 until it moves as well
Gallifrey rises 7 all routes are moving to Palmars Green so I don't know what's gone happen. I think the old DWs will go with the VLAs following in Jan. I agree those vehicles should remain as spares as the DWs from the 38 and the 640 (now allocated to the 258) were built in the same year
BusesInLondon I know but I don't think those 3 will make it to AD. They're not in great shape and I don't think Arriva will consider it worth refurbishing them for 9-10 year old buses. Once the routes move there, I'm sure they'll have other spares to accommodate appropriately
Gallifrey rises 7 I think they'll be reblinded but I'm not sure what buses AD actually have (Gemini 2 hybrids). I think the 340 will take the two dws and the SW demo
BusesInLondon the SW demo is already allocated to the 340. I don't know when you last rode DW190/91 but they'll need a refurb. I don't think they'll bother. AD is fairly large, they'll have some spares somewhere if they ever need an extra spare (PVR of 9, 10 SWs) so if they really need another spare, I'm sure they'll have
Newer DWs could move to other garage and T199 could move to DT
Can you do a full blindset for the arriva streetdecks
Ill see
Ive done one
I live on the 142 and 258 routes and I'm very glad to see Arriva go. The buses they use are terrible, especially the gemini 1 Volvos on the 258 that are loud and not very nice to be on. (I believe they were transferred from Wood Green Arriva when Garston bus garage announced its closure.) The services are often unreliable and inconsistent which I'm hoping London Sovereign can sort out. I'm planning to go on one of the new enviros today. All we need now is for them to take over the 142 in January. I'm hoping London Sovereign can make these routes more reliable and enjoyable.
Yeah I agree with everything you say as I use this route regularly too! I have done a video on the First day and it was awesome, no curtailments no delays...all was running well!!!!
BusesInLondon I'm on a 258 right now and you could call it beginners luck but it's running well
Yeah it did run well
This was filmed on T199 wasn't it?
londonbusexplorer yes....it's also mentioned in the description and people guessed in the comments from the video yesterday
