KCCA should put bollards in every entry of those roads to prevent the cars and bodabodas, but they should look into the way how the emergency vehicles like fire brigades and ambulances could access the area in case of an emergency.

First of all this road was connecting from Namirembe to Jinja rd which used to reduce traffic in Kampala,now KCCA came with a plan of making this a pedestrian way and cyclists without consulting share holders or road users now this road is in fact making chaos in Kampala central .kindly make a story of how many cyclists do we have in Kampala now I don’t know who came up with this plan.
Which traffic was it reducing my dear. In other countries, the best option they use is to create flyovers especially for passing through vehicles then vehicles going to the feeder roads are left to turn off from the either sides of the flyover. Our leaders are fast minded about other issues without planning for future developments but moreso, our previous leaders didn't think about population growth otherwise there was need to leave enough pieces of spare public land for future purposes kati buli wamu government has to do compensation ate tewali sente. Nevertheless most of our countrymen aren't exposed n that is why they can't embrace everything new they see. Uganda zaabu 🤔
Who ever plans for this cty in sectors of professionals has a 🧠 issue.
