Thank you so much for the video! A quote I really love from Sisyphus 55, says, “Do we settle for a familiar sadness, or risk discomfort for a better life?” We need to have the self awareness to realize that although these habits/ addictions feel good in them moment they leave us with this familiar sadness and in order to stop we need to look squarely at the discomfort it may cause and accept that it can lead us to a better life.
My vice is naps, I actually can’t stop. 6 hr power naps are my livelihood atp, I still get work done ofc, but I’m substituting social interactions for napping. When I say I’m busy, I’m not, I’m just sleeping.
Maybe so but it takes a lot of time to edit. He's also got to record and I'm sure that he doesn't want to have to spend all his of time in front of his computer editing all day. He's got other stuff to do.
Yeah I'm going to talk to him. I trust that he can do good work, but this is his first edit so I have to cut him a little slack. I actually have another editor but most of you guys don't know. He does one a week. What I want is for it to look like I could have editing all the videos, which keeps it more authentic and minimalistic. It's how I like it and I hope it's how you guys like it.
Such great advice, tenacity and grit will eventually win the day. I think an additional big point to mention is that you have to REPLACE the addicting behavior with something more fulfilling. A new hobby, new lifestyle change, an activity that you genuinely enjoy. While this won't make things perfect, it will aid efforts immensely.
What I find with bad habits, is that the longer you have been doing it, the harder it is. So a weird one for me was I love looking at cars for sale for many years and even though I got onto self improvement over 6 months ago, I still occasionally find myself looking at cars for sale because I love looking at pictures of cars for some reason. It's just a waste of time for me just like scrolling would be. Also another thing is you can delete social media apps, use blockers, other methods to quit a particular bad habit, but you will always find a way around it. So you can always turn off the blockers and even if you don't, you will find another bad habit to engage in. So ever since I delete the social media apps and block websites to look at cars for sale, I find myself going on google maps to look at random places. The truth is there will always be new distractions and you will find them. Eventually you need to come to term with yourself that you're going to just do the work even if other distractions seem more fun. Because when there is work to do, everything except the work itself is a distraction.
Hey man, this is completely out of topic. I'm dealing with this dilemma in which there is a girl that i've been talking to and she is not from my country (and seems legit, she is from the us and I am from mexico, she has spanish roots) and It will sound crazy but she wants to meet up with me. The whole situation came up because my personal brand in IG about karting blew to 35k and I recieved a lot of messages and I started to message her and she messeged me, and we started talking. The thing is, she is really pretty and I've never had this situation. I hope you can see my comment and give an advices that I wouldn't have been able to think about my self. (Any person at the comment section, you can reply)
Honestly, you're just overthinking it. If you think it's legit and it might be a cool opportunity, then do it. Meet her, be present, breathe deep, and don't overthink anything. You're worrying about nothing right now.
I saw you and I clicked. I clicked you. That is who I clicked on. Nobody else.

Your video editor is not doing you justice my boy, you gotta go back to doing it yourself
yeah, looks kinda unprofessional.

@@BigEMalone he'll have to change editors, or else it's bad for his content
@@MohammedNayeem327Yeah that's probably best
