B C, sorry I didn’t have enough time to reply to your question live. If you have an engine light on, you likely have an active engine fault which will need to be repaired before you can clear the light, otherwise it will just come back. You need the Maxxforce program on a laptop to clear out the engine light. You can try disconnecting the batteries for about 15 minutes and then reconnect them, but that doesn’t always work.
@@90Christopher Sometimes you have to clear it out a few times. If you do it like 5 times and it still comes on then there’s probably an issue with the system. Sometimes they won’t reset at all.
That's typically just the service light if the truck is due for oil change or fuel filter. Do this procedure a few times and if it doesn't clear out then your dealer will have to reset it with Maxxforce software.
I’m not quite sure to be honest. I haven’t had a chance to really mess with a new body style International yet. I’ll ask one of our lube techs when he’s back from lunch and see if he knows lol
@@towpro591 Yep lol. Have you tried this method yet? Not sure what engine you have. This is an MV with a Cummins - czcams.com/video/MTYwEGsiZtU/video.html
Like a Chevy Spark? Or is that a new International model? Either way if you know for a fact that the oil pump and sensor have been properly replaced, I would verify proper oil level and make sure proper oil is being used. The oil light could be caused by either high or low oil pressure, so we would need to know which is the issue to troubleshoot further. If all that is good, there’s probably an issue with the engine ECU or wiring harness unless you got a defective sensor or pump.
Tony The Truck Guy it is a chevy spark and yes everything was properly changed but haven’t figured out any solution, how would I be able to check if it’s high or low?
If there no gauge and only an oil light, you would need an OBD2 scan tool to see if it can read oil pressure. You can rent these at most auto parts stores. If it doesn’t give a pressure reading, it’s likely just a dummy switch that simply registers pressure or no pressure but no specific value. If this is the case, a manual gauge will need to be hooked up. Usually those will connect to a plug in the engine block or oil filter housing.
@@redeemeddispatchaccount8924 Usually it’s triggered by a fuel filter that has high restriction or water in the fuel. If you’ve changed the fuel filter and the light is still on, you may have a faulty sensor.
Holy sheet it actually worked, 2008 CF600
Dang, that is sick!!!!
Thank you!
Thank you. It's work for me in a 2014 IC bus.
Thanks
Thank you work at the second time
Thank you bro. So helpful 💪🏾
Thanks! This procedure works for 2020 international a26 engine as well. Holding resume really worked.
I'm pretty sure that's what did it for me too. Can't believe their procedure says like 4-5 seconds lol
Lol. Right. Definitely misleading. Thanks again!
Very helpful

It turns off but wen you let the truck running it comes back on

You must do this as soon as key turns to “ON”; dash still beeping; entire process within 6 seconds.
I have a yellow wrench and it won't turn off any advice?

How do you do it on a 2020

@@TonyTheTruckGuy thanks, you know the manufacturers always have a way for them to get you back to the dealer.

I have a spark 2015 and I already changed the oil pressure sensor and also the oil pump and the oil light keeps appearing on my dashboard any help?

Doesn't work on a 2021 Int LT
Too new I’m sure. Only works on the older ones unfortunately.
You know how to reset fuel filter light?
Water in fuel light, or just service fuel filter light?
@@TonyTheTruckGuy just fuel filter light but I guess you can let me know on both of you don’t mind please.

Turn off the International engine after 15 minutes
