I have a couple of the older PD-250 Passports. They can run on battery via a 48V DC - DC converter. Use them for parties and karaoke. Great systems.

How does this work? Are you making it so that it plugs into a car battery? Do you carry around a large battery pack?

Thanks for all the info! While I was looking for something I could put a mixer into, this looks like it has enough inputs for the job, and is compact enough for one person to move.
