    Very well detailed review... No reviewer's mentioned about the new changes in honda engine..
    As per you which is good in base variant of Grand vitara Vs new creta... i have booked grand vitara but i am little confused... as interior space is better in creta eventhough GV is bigger in size.. Some how i liked GV engine... compared to creta NA engine...
    But like the interior and comfort in Creta..its new build is better compared to old model.. Having 6 airbags in base variant.
    Gv is having push button, auto AC, keyless entry, 17 inch tyre... etc..
    Need your suggestion...

      Hi jeneesh, thanks a lot for your support. Comments like this fuel small CZcams channels like me to keep making videos which provide valuable info to our viewers.
      Coming to your question. This entirely depends on your liking and your use case.
      Case 1 -
      (a) if you travel a lot and you tend to put kilometres on your vehicle, and if you mostly travel alone or you have a small family( 2-3 members), then you can go for grand vitara, as it can carry a small family comfortably, and as you would drive the car a lot, gv would be very very pocket friendly due to good average and a very reliable engine(duel injector duel vvti)
      (b) If you value feel good features like push button start stop, auto climate control, projector lamps, ( as you mentioned) then you can pick gv.
      Case 2 -
      If you have a big family of 4-5 members, and need a car which has more space, and if your running is low then you can pick creta, and you correctly mentioned that creta's interior looks and feels a bit better than gv. Creta also has the best back seats in its segment, it gives comfort of a sedan, creta is very roomy/spacious, Also fit and finish and overall plastic quality is also slightly better in creta, and you might have to visit maruti service centres to get some rattling issues fixed if you go for grand vitara.
      In terms of ride and handling both the cars are good with grand vitara having a SLIGHT edge on high speed manners interms of both steering, straight line stability etc.
      Both the cars have all 4 disk brakes.
      Also if you wish to convert your car from base to top model then you will spend less in gv than creta (as creta has 16 inch wheels hence you will need to change tyres as well to fit 17inch alloys) and even then you would not be able to get some features (eg push button key less entry)

    Appreciate the depth of the review but I am confused on one aspect, it is the suspension. Multiple reviews praise elevate on suspension and state its the best in the segment.

      @RedlineT_v  Před 2 dny

      Hi Ismail, thanks for your comment and support.
      See I own a 4th gen Honda City and have also previously owned jazz and amaze as well. The basic inherent quality of Honda cars is that their suspension is on a stiff side. Elevate has a good suspension setup when compared to other Honda cars, but still if you compare it with other segment cars, you find the suspension to be a little noisy and stiff. If you have finalized the elevate, then to make the suspension a little soft, you can change the tyre size. The car comes with 215 55 r17,, so you can change the tyre size to 215 60 r17. This increases the side wall of the tyre which will improve the ride quality. But also mind that this will result in SLIGHTLY more body roll. In terms of handling, the elevate only comes second to vw and skoda cars and has a very good steering feedback.
      I hope this helps

      Thanks a lot for the comment and support. Coming to your question, it entirely depends on your liking and use case.
      1. If you love driving and find joy in it, then kushaq is the car for you. In the initial batches, there were some quality control issues, but most of them have been fixed now. The seat comfort of the front seats is good and the plastic quality is 1 of the best in the segment (after Seltos) even though they have downgraded from vento and polo.
      2. If you have a family of 4 - 5 people and most of the time you travel with them in the car and you plan to drive the car for less kilometres, then creta/seltos would be better for you as in terms of rear seat comfort and overall space( be it knee room, head room or boot space) is the best in the segment and it really feels that you are sitting in a sedan. Also on low speeds the ride is very cushy in creta. But if we talk about high speed manners they need a little bit more improvement ( although it's better than previous generation).
      3. If you mostly travel alone and if you are planning to put a lot of kilometres on the car. Then hyryder is the car for you. The front 2 seats are very supportive and comfortable and you can easily drive 500 kms in a single stretch. Also the fuel efficiency is phenomenal and the engines are very very reliable. Also the ride and handling is one of the best in segment, steering feedback is one of the best ( after kushaq and elevate).
      I hope this helps in your buying decision
      If you have any specific requirements from the car do let me know, I can further assist you on this.

    Completely spot-on with the driver and co-passenger driving comfort.
    The seat "looks great" in Elevate, but pathetic seat comfort for anyone above 5.9" height.
    Thanks for the honest review while many reviewers glossed over it.

    I m bit confuse between Mahindra 3xo ax5L vs elevate Vx variant . I kw both are of different category but Mahindra is offering good features in less price . Space and engine quality must be better in elevate bcz of Honda trust from so many years. I am not liking back look of Mahindra bcz of large use of black cladding in rear bumper. What’s your point

    • @RedlineT_v
      @RedlineT_v  Před měsícem +4

      Hi there,
      Among the 2 cars you have shortlisted, i believe you should just close your eyes and go for Honda elevate. The reasons are as follows :-
      1. Interiors space is much more in Honda elevate, be it knee room head room or overall width of the cabin. As you said it's 1 segment above and this definitely shows in the interior space. After Hyundai creta, elevate is the most spacious car in it's segment.
      2. Engine- Honda provides a 4 cylinder engine which though is a bit noisy but still is much more smooth and refined when compared with Mahindra. Also in terms of, reliability of engine, Honda is known for its reliable petrol engine. Also now, Honda provides a DOHC engine with hydraulic lifters, so there is no need to do valve clearance adjustments (unlike previous Honda City engines).
      3. Boot space- Honda elevate has one of the best boot space in its segment, so Mahindra 3xo is not even close in terms of boot space as well.
      4. Ride & Handling - both the cars provide very good driving dynamics, but Honda's steering feel is more accurate, and in slow speeds Honda suspension feels plush when compared to 3x0. Also elevate has more ground clearance and you will feel that you are sitting higher in elevate when compared to 3x0
      5. Features- yes 3x0 provides more features but in my opinion Honda's vx trim has adequate features (which can actually be used in real world usage and are not gimmicks). Also the features provided by Honda will work without any faults , where as features in 3x0 might glitch or might stop working and you will have to go to service centres to get it fixed.
      I hope this helps in you buying decision.
      Happy Motoring!!!!

    Too much biased towards GV, Honda is more better than the other rivals (Safety, Space, Comfort, Reliability, Ground Clearance, Long Ride, Head & Leg room)
    GV is just for fuel efficiency as its overall built quality is less than Elevate)

    • @RedlineT_v
      @RedlineT_v  Před měsícem

      Hi sir, I am not at all biased towards GV, in the video i have mentioned that in terms of space elevate is better, i have also mentioned that elevate feels much more peppy to drive as it has more power. I myself own a 4th gen Honda City which I bought in 2018 and before that i owned a Honda jazz as well. I really want Honda to beat the competition but as of now, elevate seems to be a half hearted attempt, and the sales numbers also show the true picture. Even other reviewers are saying similar things about elevate.
