I actually don’t find ish creepy! Watching this i kept forgetting the age difference. Don’t get me wrong overall a big age gap brings many problems. But it also is something that has many many common misunderstandings and can be very genuine. One of the happiest couples I have ever seen has the same age gap and are the happiest couple I know and have been together coming in 15 years and to this day I’m envious of their relationship! What i do think is Madison and ish should have had the kid talk, along with much more before getting so serious
I think the weird issue is the dynamic that they had as a producer and actor working for them. Makes it feel inappropriate like dating a past teacher or something.

It actually goes back to men being attracted to “fertile “ so, “young” women. It’s genetically coded in their DNA. I would say control and power are mixed in as well though

They may not necessarily have the same issues with fertility, as perimenopausal women have at that age, but there is a higher risk of genetic disorders, chromosomal abnormalities and miscarriage with older sperm (no matter the woman's age). There's a reason sperm banks don't accept donors over 40. Men have a biological fertility clock as well, it's just not as finite or talked about as women's.
But it seems Ish wanted a family, so why would he choose a 40+ woman?

There is nothing wrong with this relationship! Age gap or not they support each other and he is understanding of her friends and families weariness and does not pressure her, which PLENTY of other boyfriends same age or older do. They seem to be stable, healthy, and happy together and i hope they make it!
I was with a guy 21 yrs older than me. He was horrible! Ish is the kind of older man that’s good, that’s respectful. He cares about handling this the right way & not just taking her away from her family. He’s logical.

Yuki James I never said she was most mature I said grounded. Reading is fundamental she remains the most calm and sensible in situations when interacting with others on the show. Plus this show is scripted so I’m sure they made her exaggerate her storyline with her boyfriend Ish.
Yuki James well you sound a little judgmental. Maddison seems the least dramatic of the women on the show as in getting into fights with others starting drama amongst each other. She seems like she wants to be a good person and grow, adapt. At least she knows what she wants she has a little bit of drama in her personal life but who doesn’t. Garrett is to a certain extent but he still gets caught up in messy drama with women. And he’s not very mentally present in situations either. He is absent minded a lot.
The way he speaks to her parents and sister, holy duck. But everyone is bound to have that one toxic relationship, where we think they’re our soulmates. It’s kind of sad watching

I know she's in her twenties but she is not a smart girl. Not saying you have to get a career in the exact field you went to school for, but as someone who works for an engineering firm, it blows my mind that she got her degree in engineering and seems like she gave up after not finding a job immediately after graduating. Now all of a sudden she wants to act...oddly enough she discovers this while dating a producer and planning to move to LA. Yet at the same time, wants a child soon. Messy.
