- Beautifully restored locomotives coupled to matching historic carriages, steaming through the pretty Sussex countryside helped to make this a memorable event. The Bluebell Railway, along with the visiting locomotive owners and the railways volunteers deserve a massive thank you because without them events like this would not be possible.

2:57: Beautiful old school British steam
The Bluebell Railway put on a first class show.
Hi Tim! Wonderful video, I enjoyed it 👍. The Class 11243 is tiny but finy 😊. Best regards from Hans and Cheers 🍻🇦🇹.
Hello Hans, it's good to see the little engines get their day in the lime light. The Bluebell railway always puts on a good show 🍺Tim.
Like 22 beautiful video, greetings from Asturias 🚂👍👍👍👍📽️👍🙋♂️
Hello, I appreciate your kind comment. Best wishes from England 😊.
I would love to park the Fenchurch guy in my backyard even for a short time!😊
It would make an attractive garden ornament, but for now it's just another working steam locomotive!😉.
Znów się uśmiechnęłam! Piękna , obłokowa para, czarny falujący dym , pogwizdywania, radosne łomoty o szyny! Stare pociągi kochają Wielką Brytanię...Dziękuję, pozdrawiam.😀😀😀
Z przyjemnością przeczytałem Twój barwny opis Kolei Bluebell. Cieszę się, że podobał Ci się film. Wszystkiego najlepszego. Tim 😊.
EBAAAAAA A MELHOR VIAGEM DAAAA VIDA É ESSA SO DE IDAAAA👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
A Ferrovia Bluebell é incrível 😊.
G'day Tim, another great compilation of a brilliant Gala. I wish I had been there as just about all of the Locos running would have been "cops" in my Ian Allan ABC Combined Volume of Locos hailed by.
My visit on 16th June will see me only able to do one round trip from East Grinstead due to time constraints, hope to see you there if you can make it. Cheers from Puf'n-Pete.✈️🚂
Hello Pete, the guys at the Bluebell put on a cracking show, I really enjoyed the event. My diary is free on the 16th of June, please Email with your expected time of arrival. I look forward to meeting up again. Cheers. Tim.
🇳🇱SUPER👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏🍀💐
I'm glad you enjoyed the video 😊.
Bluebell is my favourite restored railway, The little loco LMS 11243 is it oil fired i couldn't see any coal bunker, Thanks Tim for another great day out.🚂🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃☕🫖🍩🍪
Hello Robert, 11243 is coal fired, according to an article on the internet coal bunkers or boxes, were located either side of the cab, sometimes an extra sack of coal was kept on the footplate as well. I'm glad you enjoyed the video, the railway put on a really good show 😊.
Привет, Тим! Очень любим Ваши видео. Спасибо. Привет из России.
Hi, Tim! We love your videos very much. Thanks. Hello from Russia.
Hello, I appreciate your kind comment, Best wishes from England.
Great shame West Hoathley was demolished (Oct ' 67), bits of old platform are all that remain.
It's not beyond the capability of the railway to rebuild it as it was, but there are many reasons why it hasn't happened including objections from local residents and more to the point, it wouldn't contribute much financially to the railway, whilst requiring resources to keep it running. I'm with you, in that it is a shame that it was demolished, but I also realise the money pot is limited and needs to be spent where it is most needed.
One adult and child half day return to London please ! Kerchunk! Kerchunk! That'll be 12 shillings and six pence please. Thankyou. 😆🧐
Those were the days, I've still got my Thames Valley and Southern 'one week runabout tickets' priced at ten shillings and six pence each for a child. Could you imagine a modern mother letting one of her children ride the rails as I did at 13 years of age? Happy Days.
There's atmosphere here ,Horsted Keynes !!🥸
The Bluebell Railway put on a really good show and Horsted Keynes still looks like an important junction station 🙂.
