    Thanks for sharing that. very clear and helpful. I have a 2003 Berlingo with very stiff clutch pedal, but clutch works really well. Could this be a cable?

    • @moremolecules
      @moremolecules  Před 4 lety

      Hi Dominica, on my (end of 2007) the clutch is also quite stiff. I believe most MKII berlingos/partners will have pretty stiff clutches with age. I do not thinks it's the cable, but might be wrong. If it works well and it does not slip it is ok. Apparently there are springs in the cover plate that harden with age and do not move much. You could potentially replace the clutch with a clutch kit.

    Hi thank you very much for your great video.
    By any chance would you happen to know where I can locate the position of the heater resistor please?

      Thank you Phillip. I think the resistor is located on top of the blower motor housing on the left.

      Yes, it is fairly easy to do, but make sure that it is the fan that is problematic, as it is a bit expensive.

    what age/ mileage was your Partner when the blower broke down? Mine is 60k and just bought it already without the blower working so I'm wondering if that's the engine or maybe something else... will start investigation soon, many thanks for the tutorial!

      @moremolecules  Před 2 lety +1

      Do not quite remember, but probably ~80-90,000 miles. The age at the time was ~12 years old. The fan was still working, but had a bit of a screechy noise.

    Can you tell me please where is the pollen filter with such construction. Similarly, my car has a fan visible immediately after removing the upholstery, but the filter box does not appear anywhere...
    Is there no filter in such constructions? Is such thing even possible (all external dust is blown directly in)?

    • @moremolecules
      @moremolecules  Před 3 lety +1

      Hi binary0111, my car does not have a pollen filter. The pollen filter is only supplied only if you car has A/C. If you have A/C then it is above the heater/blower fan or on the side, if you do not have A/C there will be no pollen filter. And yes, the dust will be blown inside. It still baffles me why would they only out pollen filter on A/C cars.

      @MTT131 Před 3 lety

      @@moremolecules Thanks for quick reply.
      Yes I also have without A/C. Seems my car doesn't have a filter either then.

    • @moremolecules
      @moremolecules  Před 3 lety

      @@MTT131 No, it will not have one. I am not too sure about other mahufacturers, but Peugeot/Citroen do not add a pollen filter if there is no A/C. My other car (Peugeot 307 1.6 petrol) has A/C and has the pollen filter.

    • @moremolecules
      @moremolecules  Před 3 lety

      @@MTT131 Unfortunately no, you would not have pollen filter. It only goes with A/C.

      Hi Willie, I will have to look this up and will get back to you, as I am not too sure where it is exactly on the B9 model.

    • @moremolecules
      @moremolecules  Před 4 lety

      Hi Willie, it should be in the relatively the same place. It is a bit more hidden, but it looks fairly the same with 3 bolts, I think it is slightly bigger. Now, it depends if your model has air conditioning, if it has, then it will have freon tubes coming to the fan/blower as well. I think it also depends if it is left-hand or right-hand version, but it should be under the passenger side.

      Went to an "Auto Electrician" with 30 years and more experience and he could not find it. Had to go back to the main dealer. Result: New motor, new resister. £35 Euros. As luck would have it, the horses cleared it for me. However, lost it all back since as I got a bit cocky. Keep smiling and keep up the good work.

      @@williemartin8672 Good job, unfortunately once in a while one has to go to the main stealer. Seems quite cheap for a motor + resistor for 35 euros. Only the motor on mine was ~£80.

    Hi. Do you know where the blower relay is located on the M59. 2007 partner ? It is not below the fuse panel on the drivers side nor behind the glove box. Rhd model.

    • @moremolecules
      @moremolecules  Před 2 lety

      It is located behind the glovebox, above the fan housing on the left. More descriptive, the fan itself is enclosed by plastic fan housing. Above it sits another housing. That housing above on the left is the resistor.
