I’m an artist and I paint w acrylics and water soluble oils (love!), and the fingers are a very important toll in painting. The white acrylic is what I noticed first when seeing this cup. I think it would be cool to apply a a layer or two of epoxy before applying the acrylic white, but I see now that you’re applying white ink. Excellent once again!!

Absolutely in love with this tumbler! So have you noticed that different brands of alcohol inks work different than others? I tried this technique with the inks I have but they don't behave the way it does in the tutorial. I could be just doing it wrong.
I dont think all inks are created equal. My preferred ink is grom jenns crafted gems.

I use make up wedges to blend! I do my veins last with a turkey feather then a watered down white layer! That’s how I do it on wood and I imagine I would do it the same on a cup

Lovely! Wow! Can someone answer my newbie question? How do you keep the resin from going into the cup when you turn it? Does the cup turner piece completely fill/block the inside?
There are cup guards you can use. There shouldnt be too much epoxy that gets inside. You can easily pop off any excess epoxy with a blade once its cured.
It’s a ceramic coffee mug. Just wasn’t sure if it would get a weird rim around the top
I know this is a question completely off topic but about how long until you think you will have fast set epoxy! I love your epoxy but I am used to a fast set epoxy and I remember you said you were making room for a fast set! I need to buy some soon so that's why I was wondering how long in the near future if you even know I know things like that sometimes you just don't know how long it's going to take and I respect that
It hit a delay but I am expecting it the first week of May.
This is gorgeous! I have to do a black with gold marble, could you suggest some colors/inks for the marble? Do I just do gold veining ?
I think just the gold would be fine. Maybe some black paint add some depth as well
Is it alcohol in each one of the medicine cups, because the black one looks really thick
It's alcohol ink. Rubbing alcohol isn't mixed into the alcohol ink cups.
This turned out gorgeous! I tried to go to Jenns crafts for the alcohol ink and again, the web page is under construction. I've been trying to go there for a couple of years now. Is that the correct link?

How does your alcohol not evaporate right from the med cup? Mine dries right up.
it will eventually but you've got plenty of working time before that happens. these inks have a higher ink content
