Yeah it was. The fickle wind was wind shadow area which serves me right for not properly anticipating it .lessons learned eh? 😄

Those dinghies are Bosuns. I don't know where you find all the nice weather from. I've just come back from the Old Gaffers Association 60th Anniversary do on the Orwell and the weather we had could best be described as challenging.

Yeah I suddenly remembered I have sailed in them when our CCF unit were visiting the local navy training station each week. The good weather is the very odd day amongst the grottiest summer I can remember in a long time
