You know you guys don't have to crack jokes the entire time. It isn't a crime to be earnest or emotional about parts of a movie that truly warrants such things.

Nakia is a revolutionary Warrior, she helps those who can't help themselves.
She goes all over on missions against injustice. That is what she was doing when Ta Challa came to get her, she was rescuing the women from slavery.
In the Club she told Ta Challa she had a fight with ivory dealers.
Africa is not poor . Also if yall just watch the movie and actually listen to what was being said or going on then you would be questioning everything that is happening in the movie .

@@eoaiau1 Well that's like the entire point of the Wakanda reveal through the barrier. There are a few well developed countries like Egypt and South Africa but yes for the most part, Africa remains a humanitarian crisis. The point of Wakanda is that it's the most technologically advanced nation DEPSPITE being in the middle of Africa. AND it's part of Killmonger's point as well that the rest of the continent and African descendants around the world are somehow being denied those resources.
Of you two so trying to guess everything and pay a little more attention i promise all your questions will be answered. It would also make more a more pleasant watch especially since one of you seen to stay stuck on "confused"

In the prelude comic tied to the events of this movie, it’s revealed that T’Challa had already been Black Panther since around the same time that Tony Stark became Iron Man. T’Chaka continued to be king but had retired the mantle of Black Panther and passed it on to his son who was still the crown prince of Wakanda at the time.
Young T’Chaka in the Oakland 1992 flashback was portrayed by John Kani’s real life son Atandwa.
Griot, the Wakandan A.I., was voiced by South African comedian Trevor Noah.
Finally, while we all mourn Chadwick Boseman, I would also like to acknowledge the late Dorothy Steel. She portrayed the Merchant Tribe Elder.
She passed away in October 2021, but she was able to reprise her role in the sequel Wakanda Forever which would be her final film released posthumously. Miss Dorothy was 95.
The Dora Milaje or in English the adored ones are an elite special force of Women tasked with protecting Wakanda and are the personal bodyguards of the Black panther.
They are some of the most skilled human fighters in marvel comics and are the most skilled human fighters in the MCU, there skill level and combat training is so high they have the ability to go toe 2 toe with super humans and defeat them.
And Wakanda being the most technologically advanced civilisation on earth they also created a division in the comics with special armer that gave the Dora that used it the ability to take on beings far more physically strong then them.
Combat ritual is for the black panther to have his powers taken away so that the battle can be fair. Tchalla is already a skilled fighter without the powers or the suit.
Okoye is one of my fave MCU characters, every scene she's in she's great! That spear throw that flipped the car was badass.
Okoye would easily slaughter 99.9% of ppl in a 1v1. Superhero’s or gods could take her out but not many non-superheros could

Like the whole thing is a joke to them, whatever tho just makes me appreciate the reactors who actually do take marvel seriously. Even if they reply & say “oh we do take it seriously, just jokesters” or sum shit like that, the reaction speaks for itself. Nothing wrong w that, just not what I’m looking for when watching a black panther reaction

@@scotthill1600 I totally agree with you. People can react however they want to but at least be genuine and not do it because it’s just get you views. People just need to understand the tone of the films. Like it’s more than appropriate to laugh during a comedy but if you were cracking up to a film like Schindler’s List, then something’s really off.

I'm happy you are enjoying these films but there are no prizes for guessing what is going to happen in the film before it does - try to let the films tell you their story rather than spending time talking over the film about what you think is happening, because many times the film is answering those questions while you are discussing them.

Yes, she was using a Dr Strange motion to control the ship. Since 1962 Scientists have adopted a Theory on advanced scientific technology by Sci-fi writer Arthur C. Clarke. “To a primitive or less advanced culture, Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic". This is a theme in the MCU.

There can be a king outside of being the Black Panther. Ta Challa family always had a successor to the Throne and the Black Panther. But out of the 5 Royal Families and The Jubaree Tribe are one. Can challenge for the Throne and whoever is the ruler can anoint the future Black Panther.

I don't understand people who want the hero to kill everyone they come across that would give them a higher body count than the villain.
The thing that you have to hate most about Killmonger is that... on a very deep level, what he wanted to fix about the world isn't wrong. Because Wakanda sat aside during everything that has happened throughout history, people have suffered. Where he is wrong is what he wants to do about it. He just wants to burn the world down for what it took from him. He's not looking to build anything better in its place. It reminds me of the saying that a child denied the love of the village will burn it to the ground just to feel its warmth. Wasn't it Peter Parker who said "When you can do the things that I can, but you don't, and then the bad things happen? They happen because of you.." With great power comes great responsibility. I love that T'Chala comes to understand that, and how much the world needs them. The governments may not care for how much they hold back, but it can't be helped. The people need them, and that's what matters.
As for Chadwick... he really is a next-level king on a very fundamental level. His nobility of heart is inspiring for so many people, and he will always be my king.

That's right! The great Andy Serkis. He also did the motion capture for King Kong, the new Jungle Book, Captain Haddock in The Adventures of Tin Tin and he played Caesar in Planet of the Apes. You can usually tell because some elements of his face will be kept - often his eyes.
He's an excellent director too and extremely polite and friendly in real life.
He owns a huge motion capture studio near where I live here in London and it's incredible inside🤓🇬🇧

There are several things in this movie to me that make this great. The character of the Black Panther is different from the other Marvel heroes. Black Panther is NOT someone who takes revenge. He is instead someone who rises above ... a hero indeed. I think that is why a lot of people like this movie, and Chadwick Bosman.
Another is the villain who, while a bad person who does very bad things, he also has reasons that are arguably valid. One of my favorite scene in the movie is when Erik states at the end, "... they knew death was better than bondage." That line represents how Erik felt about the injustices of the world. And he is not wrong.

In the Comic book before they created a Avengers book it was Captain America comics. That is the birth of The Avengers in Captains books and that was for a year or so, Before the first Avengers comic book. That is why the title of Captain America first book is "The First Avenger"
What? Cap isn’t even an original avenger he didn’t come on until the 4th issue. It was like literally 10 years in between comic book appearances. The first avenger thing was supposed to be because he was the first which never made sense since thor is way older.

Cap did not show up until the 4th issue. They literally put cap on the sidelines after the whole run fighting soviets.

But The Avengers did not become relevant until Ironman and Captain America. There were characters in the 60s 70s and eighty's that were automatic Stars and there was the sidekicks. If you brought comics this would be understood. There are Volvo's and there are Ferrari's. You need a face and image for people to accept. And in the 60s and 70s Captain America was the face of America

Here are some black panther facts you should know. T'Chala father was both ruler and black panther. King T'Chaka became ill and the heart shaped Herb could only keep him healthy by removing his enhanced strength. The heart-shaped herb could not heal him and give him super abilities at the same time. So in a MCU Cannon comic book it shows T'Chala building his vibranium suit and becoming the Black panther. Vibranium cannot be detected by metal detectors. The vibranium mountain seats into the very plant life which makes all of the people of wakanda more healthy. It also increases the strength of the jabari wood which M'baku with his warriors use as weapons and armor. The jabari wood is stronger than titanium. The female warriors of the Wakandans are the Dora milaje. These warriors were trained so well that one of them could handle super soldiers like Captain America in combat. When King T'Chala said they will be sharing their resources he did not mean the vibranium he only meant their advanced technology.
They cannot beat super soldiers why do ppl make stuff up they are below ppl like tchalla and cap but are highly skilled and effective.
All my statements come from MCU logic and info they have shown over the course of years of different projects. Not from the comic book knowledge I know they differ.

The reason killmonger was was able to stand a chance against the Dora milaje will do to the vibranium absorbing and redirecting suit shuri developed. Also the Dora milaje are more traditional if they would accept the advanced weaponry Shuri could develop for them killmonger would not have stood a chance against them.
The heart-shaped herb and super-soldier serum have almost identical effects, They grant the same degree of strength, speed and agility.
watch some comedy movies like Ted, Ted2, the end of the world there are a lot more it will be fun to watch you react to them.
