    I must say, the first one was my favourite.

      And it's really the most accessible species. The video quality on the first species was notably better and so that better represented the beauty for them. I was free-handing it for the other three this time in a awkward positions. Thought about taking new footage of them during editing but the show must go on. ;) Thanks BugTalk!

    I thought they eat souls. That's why we never see people in the woods.
    Once I've been in the woods, and when I returned I had no soul anymore. But some good pictures if tiny polydesmidas.

    Could you update on care requirements that you have discovered? Also what is the adult size? Thanx for sharing.

      Thank you very much! They would look really nice in a planted tank, methinks.

    Out of the many species of arthropods I keep, Brachycybe lecontii are one of my favorites. There is just something very special about them. Thanks, Peter!

      Hey, I’m working on a research project on these millipedes and we are trying to keep them alive - how do you do it?

    Do they exclusively eat fungus ?

    • @bugsincyberspace
      @bugsincyberspace  Před 2 lety

      Honestly not sure. Often the fungus that they feed on is nearly imperceptible, I think. I wouldn't be surprised if they feed on the wood that the fungus works to decay, or some combination thereof in part or in full. I am offering them decaying wood and kinshi. 2 of these species are new for me and so I'm just sort of making observations through the, likely short, time I have them.

    1. How long do they live?
    2. Do they have symbiotic mites, opportunistic ticks, etc?

    • @bugsincyberspace
      @bugsincyberspace  Před 2 lety +2

      1. couple years but it's a guess
      2. not the few I have in my tanks, but I'm not sure in the wild
