  • Join me as I dive into some of the most exciting probiotic research for cardiovascular health. Bacillus subtilis, a very common, but powerful probiotic not only enhances gut health but looks to play a crucial role in cleansing our blood and supporting our heart.
    Clinically backed to support healthy lipid levels, and endothelial function, Bacillus subtilis may also produce the heart-protective enzyme nattokinase right in your digestive system, while also synthesizing Vitamin K2, prebiotics, and other beneficial chemicals for heart health.

    heart and circulation problems have existed in my family and at 77 y.o. I have been taking Nattokinase for appx 10+ years with no problems so far. this new info about the B subtilis that makes the Nattokinase but kinda sounds like going around the middleman by putting it directly into the gut makestotal sense and don't have time to wait on some studies making a recommendation to take it for benefits. the B-subtilis is much cheaper than the Nattokinase so far but will take them both because there is no known problem with too much. thanks Danny for the help and advice and we know you are doing the same as you suggest to us.

  • @acstamos
    @acstamos Před 7 dny +1

    Isn’t the stomach killing all the bacteria, including bacillus subtilis when you ingest it as a form of Natto or in yogurt?

    • @natural-informant
      @natural-informant  Před 7 dny +3

      Great question. B.sub is actually in spore form when it is ingested as a supplement. Bacterial spores don’t germinate until they are in the intestine, past the stomach. This hardiness makes it one of the best species since it is very hardy and not susceptible to stomach acid. As for food sources, some of the living fully germinated bacteria are killed during the digestive process, but with the ph becoming less acidic with food (there is more acid, but there are more contents in the stomach absorbing a lot of that acid and taking up space) many of them still survive and make it to the intestinal tract. Another interesting point is that they are finding out now that probiotic bacterial DNA provides a large portion of the benefit of said probiotic. That’s why postbiotics are becoming very popular, which are dead probiotics.

      Healthy bowel flora - lactic acid- and bifidus bacteria - function by fermentation, thus, gas production is a natural process down there ! Depending on individual diet, flora, and other variables, more or less gas - changing the flora, even for the better, means, of course, it will result in a phase of re-adjustment and thus changes in digestive symptoms and effects - give it some time… maybe adjust dosage for a while… observe and make sure to add other good digestive supports.. especially fennel seeds with every meal, for example, in case of excessive bloating and gas -

    People who can't handle dairy, how do they get their lactobacilli probiotics?

    • @natural-informant
      @natural-informant  Před 3 dny +1

      Hello, I’ll answer your question in two different ways. First, you can consume lactobacilli probiotics through various non-dairy sources. Sauerkraut, kimchi, and fermented foods contain lactobacilli. Kombucha and non-dairy kefir made from water or plant-based milks are also good sources, and non-dairy yogurts as well as fermented soybean products like miso and tempeh, provide lactobacilli. And finally, probiotic supplements offer a direct and convenient way to consume these beneficial bacteria without dairy.
      If your question was more about lactobacilli coming from dairy, this is a common misnomer. While lactobacilli are commonly associated with dairy products due to their role in the fermentation process of milk, they are not exclusive to dairy and can thrive in many other non-dairy environments.🍻
