For the David Bowie "The Man Who Sold The World", a legit Mercury copy will have the dead wax info stamped, not written. You can compare it to another Mercury album from the same time period to see what a dead wax stamp is supposed to look like. If the dead wax info is written, it's a counterfeit copy.

Those The Band Cahoots sealed are a great find. The textured cover always gets really grubby and any copy I've had has been scratched. Mind you, it's their weakest album but whatevs!
