Thumbs up if you remember rolling bones using a pack of ez widers or jokers on album covers to roll the seeds out in the 60's, 70's and 80's. I have several milk crates of my original albums in the garage. Been in there a long time. Just uncovered them a month ago when I was cleaning the garage. Haven't gone through them yet to see what all I have, most of the 60's, 70's and 80's are a blur for me...LOL
Ya have a very nice collection, I started when I was 9 with Dylans first album. Now 60 years later I have 4,000+ records, 2,000+ cds, a lot of 45's and concert dvd's. I still shop and buy all the time. Keep it up yer doin' great. Jim
I have 3500 vinyls and over 2000 CDs. My CDs are stored in real wood bookcases. Not those square cubes you can get at IKEA. Do not trust those. And my vinyls are stored in room dividers I build myself and are 8 feet long. I do not stack anything to the ceiling. That's not good living in California like I do. Bad for your health. I always keep my music in 2 rooms. 1 for vinyls and 1 for cds. That's all (from 976-CREOLEMAN).
Great stuff, great video! To be honest, I feel like you might be kind of understating the quality of this collection. This is all killer, no filler! And so many of those sleeves are in really excellent condition. Very impressive.
Nice collection, i recommend getting inner an outer liners to protect your investment. It costs a little money but it's worth it. Everything I own is in plastic, my inner sleeves are anti-static the outer sleeves are clear.
Cool collection dude, looks a lot like mine, i subscribed, hope to hear some reviews Are You Experienced, Springfield Again, Disraeli and a bunch more, those are albums I got down on bad, about 50 years ago! I recommend you hunt down a copy of Dylan’s Highway 61 Revisited .. I’ll keep watching
Vixe uma epoca tentei fazer a colecao dos stones importados , quase fiquei foi é louco , os álbuns americanos e ingleses eram diferentes, capas track lists , fiquei doido e falido kkkkkk
I have a mixture of both. I was pretty excited about earlier pressings at one point but don’t care as much any more. My favorites that are originals are a few of my David Bowie records.
@@robtylowe fair enough, definitely understand not liking the look of it, but it does cause damage to records without them, especially ring wear. Not judging or anything like that, music is to be enjoyed individually and you have a great collection there
@@TheHeckler85 thanks. Yeah I understand. I have quality inner sleeves for all my records and I don’t pack them too tightly. Maybe one day I’ll want to put outer sleeves on but that day hasn’t come yet.

i'm 14 and our tastes are so friggin similar man! love your collection dude🔥
Even though we don’t like the same artists doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate an awesome sized collection. Really cool collection you have man.

Sweet collection
Put your babies in sleeves. Also replace those stereo Rolling Stones lps and find the monos.
You have all 3 of my favorite bands. (Yes, Genesis, ELP)
Love all the doors stuff

@@robtylowe but why no plastic covers, with every pull you damage the covers a litttle
Tedious collection
Cool Bowie collection
Good stuff, lots of classics. Hunky Dory & Hot Rats though are the coolest ones in my opinion.
Both very solid albums for sure
We have similar taste. I have many on vinyl that u do.

I have inner liners but no outer liners. I prefer my records without outer sleeves.
@@robtylowe you will ruin the covers
@@flaviomartins6394
Nah, you can tell he takes good care of them. I put mine in outer sleeves, but it's nice seeing records without them.
Damn, John Lennon has been hitting the gym lately. Great vinyl collection by the way.
Haha. Thanks for the laugh and compliment.
Great collection . Can never go wrong with classic rock.

Just a suggestion:
The volume is too low 🔅

Hey! Just out of curiosity, do you collect new vinyl or try to find those original pressings or do you have a mix of both?
I have a mixture of both. I was pretty excited about earlier pressings at one point but don’t care as much any more. My favorites that are originals are a few of my David Bowie records.
Nice variety of bands...is there a reason those are not in plastic? Just curious.
I’ve just never cared for outer sleeves.
@@robtylowe ah ok...keep spinning!
You need inside and outside liners
Why no bags?
Just curious but why do you not use outer sleeves?
I just don’t like the look.

For some reason you kinda look like Emilio Estevez from the Breakfast Club
One band I highly recommend is Slade. Classic band from the 70’s.
Thanks for the recommendation
