Good watch Dan. Totally agree that a high percentage of this game is mental. Still think you’ve got a long way to go to do this in a game. Lots of variables that will always work against you. Personally I would look at driving though the v to a straight ball (especially on grass) with a strong top hand. Not looking to ‘break your wrists’ turning it into the leg side - to stop top edge / lbw coming into play.

Your batting partner is the anti Bazball. You VILL not play an attacking shot in the first ten overs!😮 😅

Keep everything on the ground for the first 10 overs. Attack as much as you want! But playing on an uncovered wicket, on pitch you don't know? Can you trust the bounce? Will it deviate or hold in the surface? You have no idea, so bat the first 10 overs on the floor....then when you establish how the pitch is behaving, you can play over the top. That's how you get hundreds...not slogging from ball one on uncovered pitches in England.
