For the light you said didn’t work, that’s for if an emergency happens, and it flashes red. Having to pay for WiFi is also normal on most cruises. Royal Caribbean makes you pay $20 a day. (In my opinion, that light switch is also in the perfect spot)

Even in disney cruises, I think it was around 40 dollars per day if you want to have full internet, and around 20 dollars per day for normal browsing on the disney wish
I just got done watching this video and naturally I had to check out this cruise. After my wife and kids all turned me down. I was able to talk an old Army buddy into sailing on this magnificent boat with me. We booked a 2 night trip to the Bahamas for an unbelievable price of only $75 a person. Of course, there was some extra fees and taxes But that’s the cheapest price I’ve ever paid for a cruise. All aboard this October!!! I can’t wait.
I think for $45 you can’t complain! It probably cost them more than that in fuel and overheads to keep the lights on and the food warm! Clearly just a company that’s had some bad luck and needs some publicity to get them back in the game! Missed an opportunity there because a cruise company makes millions when they are busy! And I’m sure they would have rewarded a CZcamsr who gave them the publicity to get busy again a very healthy reward
Took this cruise last year, definitely pretty good! The shaking of the ship is also a normal thing. Usually happens when the ship docks or just a normal thing if you in the aft on a lower deck near or just above the engines.

None of the incidents at the start of the video were from that ship, or even that cruise line. There has never been evacuation orders of onboard fires on this cruise line. I also feel like you only sought out the bad on this cruise. This is no way any disrespect to your channel. I was on this ship earlier this year, and I loved it! Would totally do it again!
I feel the same way. He was going to give a negative review no matter what. Wfi is never free on a cruise. The bottled water is never free. And this was his first cruise so what does he have to compare it with? This is an inexpensive cruise and you get what you pay for. I felt this review was one big whine!
I feel like the saving Grace is the staff. The cruise company needs to really play into their awesome staff, do repairs and renovations as they can, and try to rebuild reputation. There is still charm here.
The reason why this ship is so worn torn broken etc and why there was an Italian dictionary even though the ship is sailing from florida to the Bahamas is because the ship was owned by an Italian company before, the ship was owned by the Costa compqny and they do Mediterranean cruises and the ship youre on now was built in 1990. There were plans to extend the ship but the company that shouldve extended the ship kinda went bankrupt whilst its renovation. Sorry for such a long comment
I was on a Royal Caribbean cruise this summer, it was amazing. No mould no bed bugs no horrible food, epic entertainment. I would try Royal if I was you, it is an unforgettable experience. And also, the boat shaking is when the boat is turning into the dock! I was shook when that first happened to me! :)
I’ve been on multiple cruises and I can confirm that the ships do shake much like that especially if the waters are rough. Nothing to do with crashing or engine issues.
No joke, I was on this ship when it still was the "Costa Classica" and it had a engine failour in Hong Kong. Nearly crashed into the shoreline, you could see people literally running away. 10/10
I remember the Costa Concordia disaster,the captain went too close to the island and damaged the hull and she began to sink,and the captain literally just abandoned the ship and left people to fend for themselves, 32 people died 💀😢
They're doing a first responder deal where you basically pay for your guest and you get to go for free. Half the people on my shift have been looking into this to just go some time this summer. Would be interesting an honestly doesn't look that bad.
First it depends on what room you got but there are rooms on every cruise ship that do not have windows, you have to pay for a wifi package on every cruise ship, every cruise has you paying for what is in the mini bar even company's like Carnival and Royal Caribbean the couple of things that are weird is you have to pay to "chill" it could be in one place like a special lounge, the mold and the conditions of the ship but it could js be old.

This is one of those cruise lines that is trying to make it. Once upon a time I believe they were called the Celebration Cruise Line. I remember being a kid on the Princess Sun and looking across the seaport in Fort Lauderdale and seeing that little ship they had. Eventually they were replaced by the Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line who replaced that old ship with the Original Carnival Celebration. Then they bought the Costa Classica. Then Covid hit which resulted in them scrapping the old Celebration. Covid also made them change their brand name to Margaritaville at Sea.
@rohan7759 you are totally right but I think that carnival cruise line is by far in the ranking like virgin and royal I went on my first cruise in June 2023 and had amazing service and got free room service with no extra cost to everything except sushi which was cheap. It was a ship about 16 decks but still had a ton of great entertainment just like Royal Caribbean cruise. I hope one day to take a cruise on the icon of the seas some time soon.
You do realize if there was a deck officer who had a reputation for crashing into things he would no longer be a deck officer. You also sell clips from random ships, so it were not this ship.

Keep in mind they bought that ship from Costa lines which is part of the carnival group the ship was already a Junker when they got It and in 2025 it will lose its certification to carry passengers cause of its age. That's why they bought a newership that has lots of balconies I think it was built like in 2005 so it should be a lot better than the rattle trap ship that they have right now
Basically every year my moms company that she works for goes on a cruise here and this was the first year I went and it was pretty fun they had a “fancy” dinner.
I went on a cruise last year in September, and it was perfect. Beautiful view of the ocean, the rooms even had a deck so you could be outside looking at the ocean. The buffet was perfect, the pool was clean, and lots of great experiences.
This is the review of this cruise I’ve always wanted. Everyone else is giving a too serious review of this one You knew what was ahead and really played to it 😂
If you ever want to go on a real and good cruise, I would suggest royal carribean, msc, or disney cruise line. Great video!!!! Btw the shaking is the rudder when the boat was docking early in in the morning.
I have been on Carnvial, there is free food, the cruise ship is nice. The only thing I didnt enjoy was the water slides, the queue was too big.@@Kai-Gamer
It isn't even that bad - the food is pretty standard restaurant quality, the wear & tear is minor (there's a scuff mark here and a crack there, but nothing that's non-functional), and there seems to be ample activities for the few hours you're actually on the ship. The ride is quite short (it's just 1 night to reach the Bahamas), so you won't really get bored. Just take some walks around the deck, lounge in the pool, and use the gym with a nice ocean view.
Lol this year i have been on 3 cruises i think. My favorite cruise lines are celebrity princes and ncl. Those should give you a much better experience for a pretty good price

This is one of those cruise lines that is trying to make it. Once upon a time I believe they were called the Celebration Cruise Line. I remember being a kid on the Princess Sun and looking across the seaport in Fort Lauderdale and seeing that little ship they had.
Eventually they were replaced by the Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line who replaced that old ship with the Original Carnival Celebration. Then they bought the Costa Classica. Then Covid hit which resulted in them scrapping the old Celebration. Covid also made them change their brand name to Margaritaville at Sea.
You really need to experience cruise lines like Royal, Celebrity, NCL, or MSC seascape they’re absolutely amazing

No, MSC is garbage and NCL is average. If you want a great cruise experience choose Royal, Celebrity, Princess or Virgin.
@rohan7759 you are totally right but I think that carnival cruise line is by far in the ranking like virgin and royal I went on my first cruise in June 2023 and had amazing service and got free room service with no extra cost to everything except sushi which was cheap. It was a ship about 16 decks but still had a ton of great entertainment just like Royal Caribbean cruise. I hope one day to take a cruise on the icon of the seas some time soon.

Damn for £45 that’s amazing! Amazing that opportunities like this exist, I’m actually going to Costa Rica from NY in Feb and payed just shy of £300 for the flight so £45 plus everything that your getting as well as a new experience is amazing!

Shooot i went recently on a margaritaville cruise and i had a great experience me and my boyfriend loved it and had no issues.
Go for the disney cruise next time, i had the BEST expeirence and have allready booked my next one! the staff is incredible, the food and entertainment is incredible! its just all around an amazing time.
Try Royal Caribbean! Unforgettable experience.

Keep in mind they bought that ship from Costa lines which is part of the carnival group the ship was already a Junker when they got It and in 2025 it will lose its certification to carry passengers cause of its age. That's why they bought a newership that has lots of balconies I think it was built like in 2005 so it should be a lot better than the rattle trap ship that they have right now

I went on a cruise last year in September, and it was perfect. Beautiful view of the ocean, the rooms even had a deck so you could be outside looking at the ocean. The buffet was perfect, the pool was clean, and lots of great experiences.

Try out NCL, my family and i took them on our first cruise to Alaska and it was amazing. We’re definitely sticking with them.

If you ever want to go on a real and good cruise, I would suggest royal carribean, msc, or disney cruise line. Great video!!!! Btw the shaking is the rudder when the boat was docking early in in the morning.

Im going on the biggest cruise ship in the world for a few weeks
It isn't even that bad - the food is pretty standard restaurant quality, the wear & tear is minor (there's a scuff mark here and a crack there, but nothing that's non-functional), and there seems to be ample activities for the few hours you're actually on the ship. The ride is quite short (it's just 1 night to reach the Bahamas), so you won't really get bored. Just take some walks around the deck, lounge in the pool, and use the gym with a nice ocean view.
James Charles is probably the scariest thing you could have found there, it made me jump lmao

Lol this year i have been on 3 cruises i think. My favorite cruise lines are celebrity princes and ncl. Those should give you a much better experience for a pretty good price

That ship is definitely meant for a niche crowd.😅Cant expect it to be Royal Caribbean or Princess. The Margaritaville LLC is a part of the Cheeseburger LLC. They run a cruise ship.... Plus the ship is kinda old. Needs a little upgrade and some changes.😅That hotel director seemed really nice tho. The staff are probably just doing their best with what the company is giving them.❤
