Thanks for the review of this. Does the box need good ventilation? Some boxes tend to overheat if enclosed in a cabinet.
I left it running for hours when testing and was fine bud
Good boxes just gave my dad mine for the sport's they don't like ether net and have it elevated as it heats up a bit but quality brilliant video 👍👍👍👍

Been using this box now for a few days now and overall I'm impressed with it for the price. Two problems I've encountered so far is that the built in CZcams was working fine on day one but by day two it wont launch. Just goes back to the home screen. Any clues? Can't uninstall it as its a developer install so I'm stuck with a big homescreen icon that I can't use. I've downloaded SmartTube from your link and thats working fine.
Secondly I find the picture quality a little washed out in some apps, especially in the browser or when its installing apps etc. I used the advanced display setting to get it looking good in Cyberflx but then it looked washed out in Showbox. I generally use MX Player but Showbox only supports Lime.
Finally, I find it gets quite hot so I unplug it when not in use. My old box used to buffer a lot in anything other than Showbox but this one streams a lot better.
So all in all not a bad box for the price.

I've got an H96 Max Plus. Have had it a couple months. Much better than my previous Android TV box.
William you can upgrade it to android 9 if your h96 max plus rk3328 is 64gb version..After upgrading Bluetooth also appears
I have the model with 2GB of ram any ideas on how to remove build up download files? Too stop buffering obviously I felt there are too many files downloaded slowing it down.
Use any app uninstaller with root Access. By the way, can you tell me what's the highest quality you can get with the official CZcams app ?
After using it for the month following are my concern on this device.
Bundled CZcams voice assistance is annoying and there is no setting to disable it.

Also the USB 3.0 port is a great addition.
It feels like a nice premium box and in my opinion for the current prices it's a steal.
Plus running the latest android 9.0
I have the H96 Max box. Every time I turn on the box I have to turn up the volume on the box using the remote control. It's annoying. I keep messing with the settings but keeps doing it.

Just a little comment on the product. I’ve just set up mine today and noticed like most android tv box under 100$ it actually wasn’t able to run 4K 60fps CZcams video. I haven’t tried any 4K files on a thumb drive thought.

Glad to see you doing more reviews mate ,keep them coming. How do you think this compares to say the Fire Stick 4K which you could probably get for a tenner more on Prime Day next week. If I am paying around £30-40 for a streaming device I generally feel safer with Amazon devices. I have had my fair share of crap chinese boxes.

*Sum advice please* - I bought this box & loaded Atom VPN, then Turbo VPN, finally UFO VPN from letscrackon. Wen I run any VPN I get no VPN servers to select. Then my wired Internet will NOT load any apps/sites, no connection. But the WiFi wrks with my phone. I delete a VPN & Internet (wired) wrks again on the box! :/
I have the same problem on this and other boxes that have Android 9.0 pie. It seems there is a bug in Android 9.0 that disables ethernet whenever a VPN is connected. I have tried various VPNs, including the popular paid for ones.

I bought this box first day it worked pretty good. But now I'm having problems with the wifi only getting like 3.mb download and on my phone I'm getting 50mb with the same wifi. Any idea what this could be. Cheers

It's practically the same as firestick. But using a web browser and not downloader.

I can vouch for these puppies. I've had 6 shit to average boxes in 4 years..The one I've had the longest and more recent is the earlier version of the box being shown, which is an H96-Pro+ 7.1. Never skipped a beat..Installed the latest VPN update/Updated the AVG & Additional Clean Up Tool..It still looks and performs like brand new and I got it in 2017. If this new one Free Tech's advertising is anything to go by, then "Yes" buy one....

Bought a 2gb version off ebay about a month ago for £22 delivered from china in 5 days... The seller was supposedly in "Basildon" but it was Chinese post stamped up and still got here in less than a week.
So very much worth the money, this box and Helix is all I need for mine and the Mrs viewing pleasure

Tech I use Kodi 18.2 i also use Filelinked the touble is every so often kodi breaks down or crash it goes back 2 the menu my Question is this H96 is it Better than kodi 18.2 and Filelinked if yes should i Deleted Kodi and filelinked PS Be Honest

Why cant i update google play services on this box
Mine arrived today, the display definitely goes to the top in fact too far! I need to reduce the size but can't do it in settings, anyone know how? And, can you access the bottom navigation bar on this? *Update: Cinema HD just about works but buffers badly, livenet and redbox tv won't load the box doesn't respond to the remote wireless keyboard ESC button. It's gone back in the bag and will be off back to China in the morning. My old £17 MXQ Pro 4k 1gb beats this piece of junk hands down
