It’s not resin part that blows me away. I’ve actually started messing with it because of you. The part that’s incredible is the way you can figure out how to make an effect. From this to a burning cigarette (twice!) etc.. Always makes my jaw drop. Merry Christmas everyone

How expensive is Resin and where could you get it.
You too then. My lathe skills have improved because of it as filling bad spots with resin make more interesting in the end.

After 10 seconds using that glue I'd have the sparkler stuck to one hand and the other hand stuck to the table with the glue bottle stuck to my head.

Fiber optics only glow at the end. Though being in resin would change its properties.
@@stephenbaldassarre2289 since fiber optic glass has a different refractive index than the resin it's being immersed in, there should be no issues with it piping the light. Side walls of the optic fibers can be scuffed, sanded, painted, dyed, etc. to affect its appearance/properties as desired. It's all experimental per application, but does provide another unique option. The only downside to scuffing and sanding optic fibers for the side-glow effect is that the net result of the light transmission through it degrades sharply, kind of analogous to water flowing through a sprinkler hose. Of course the results are relative to the abrasions used, maybe a chemical glass etching would be more effective?

Hey man great videos! I just had a question, did you consider using thin fiber optic cables for the flying sparks? They might have helped in conducting light from the LED, making the sparks brighter. Thanks again you are really talented in what you do.

May be you should have tried fiber optic strands (with the outer layer scraped) instead of the fishing line.
heres a tip: when working with resin, wear a respirator mask and some gloves because it can cause serious lung problems if the fumes (invisible and no smell) are inhaled and it can cause damage to the hands. just a tip so you don't get sick
