@@jedrek29t Thanks for encouragement. However, the last time I tried doing something with resin was a trainwreck. Started with the basics: a breakfast tray with inclusion bottom. It was an epic fail but ended up with a surprisingly great but totally unwanted result: no tray but nice sculpture as the blue and glitter tinted resin hardened inside the Evian bottle I used for the mix (I cut the bottle off so only the Evian mountains pattern remained like a molded modern conceptual piece of art).
I wore goggles, gloves and a mask but managed to get chemical burns and a week long cough anyway. My ex partner described this "adventure" as "leaving a toddler unattended with his baby food jar open and a spoon".
So I dream of being able to do some cool resin stuff and obtain the desired results without ruining it, the house too and hurting myself...
Since then I stuck to hammering nails, piercing holes and screwing screws for DIY home improvement and a bit of collage.

I am fascinated every time.
A cool resin art idea I would LOVE to see dome is one of an "ancient human" standing with a wolf looking up at the night sky and watching the Aurora Borealis!! Use like completely black figurines for the person and the wolf… a dark sky with the beautiful northern lights flying across the night sky… I just have this image of a young man / hunter holding a spear, standing next to his wolf companion and looking up at the night sky watching the lights dance across the heavens…

Hey jedrek, I've seen and tried that alcohol works pretty well for removing hot glue. I'm not sure if it messes with cured resin but that trick has worked nicely.
