I changed tires for 15 years and know that he wasn't in a hurry! As smooth as he was working he could double his speed if he wanted to. At that speed he could change a lot of tires in a day and never get tired
I did this job for many years. It's extremely hard work especially if you do plant and agricultural work as well. There's one major drawback to this job. If you don't want to destroy your knees and develop a back injury, stay well away from it.
Those tires can weigh in excess of 175 lb he was installing one a little smaller though I would say around 145 lbs still guys got some good energy throwing that much weight around

Did it for 16 years, got married and started a family. It can be exhausting especially when you have to break tire down, get it off the wheel then put new ones back on it. I did 6 Michelin 20.8R42 on a Challenger Tractor a few years ago and was wore out. But I got the job done

I take it a few miles down the road to a TA and they (graveyard shift) tells me it'll be about 7 hours before they get to me. Cool. I leave my number to keep my spot in line. I take off to a Loves not far and the tech tells to go to the first bay and then does what this guy is doing !!!! From the moment I walked to driving off was about 15 minutes. And he did it for FREE !!! I was like you sure? Yeah. Whenever I think of him I hope he's having a great day.
I did it a bunch over the years, but I have 80 pounds on you except when I was a kid. First tire change was a Dayton off a C70 dump truck. I didn't know you weren't supposed to take the lugnuts all the way off. And when I asked my dad how to remove the wedges he didn't realize I had not left the lugnuts on. "Hit them with a hammer." 12 years old, but it was a hard lesson.
He's the fastest tire changer 99 times out of 100, then once in a hundred changes the lever slips from his hip and busts his balls so bad it takes him 20 minutes to regain his composure.

As an ex mechanic people would be shocked at the way he's about to seat that tire bead. That is lighter fluid he squirted on that tire and once he lights it the explosion seals it to the rim.
WRONG. It was probably something to help the tire slip on (soap/oil). 1. Tires can usually be seated by just inflating them. So there's no need to go through the effort of making an explosion. 2 You wouldn't need (or want) to use it that early. It would have all evaporated by the time he was ready for it anyway.

Putting these tyres on is like wrestling with a Lion.
As an ex mechanic people would be shocked at the way he's about to seat that tire bead.
That is lighter fluid he squirted on that tire and once he lights it the explosion seals it to the rim.

Yes done this a few times myself on my car tires. Definitely prayed before I light it up.
That looked like soapy water to me, so the bead slides over the rim without tearing.
That was soap water.
WRONG. It was probably something to help the tire slip on (soap/oil).
1. Tires can usually be seated by just inflating them. So there's no need to go through the effort of making an explosion.
2 You wouldn't need (or want) to use it that early. It would have all evaporated by the time he was ready for it anyway.
