Sean explained that even though, on the face of it, these two are not running against each other for anything as of right now, this debate was supposed to provide the American people with information about how blue state policies and red state policies produce different results and outcomes.

What the oligarchs fear is likely what's gonna happen next November, a rematch of Trump vs Biden, a rematch that it will be very difficult to rig as they did the 2020 election. In 2020 they were able to run the Republican and independent observers out of the counting process, many times at the point of a gun, and this time they will be prepared for that very contingency.

I may not like EITHER Governor all that much, but it is clear that California is light years ahead of FL in economic and social terms, however you want to measure that. Also: people don't move to another state for political reasons. That is rarely any sort of explanation for a move. They move largely because of economic, family, and education reasons, NOT Republican vs. Democrat reasons. This has been well-documented, regardless of what Ron DeSantis suggests. Note that he has never polled those who emigrate to FL to ask what political (i.e., right wing vs. left wing) motives engendered their move. Nor would he: he wouldn't like the answers he would get. Those who HAVE asked these questions can tell you that these reasons don't enter into the calculus for profound, life-changing moves. Ever. People select reasons that make the most sense to them and their families, and these are largely family-relevant and opportunity-relevant reasons.
As a CA escapees....I left because after 49 years of living there I could see how far down Gruesome had taken a Ince great state into a crime ridden, over taxed and homeless living on my lawn.

I came away from the debate feeling that governor Newsom was "too cool for school". Sean Hannity asked him several questions which Newsom said he would answer, but instead launched into a self-serving diatribe about how well California is doing and attacking governor Desantis. I would like to hear from the middle class who live and work in California what they think of Newsom's performance, and if the residents of California "are better off today" then when Newsom became governor. California residences live under his policies and know if they like him as their governor or not.
