Great video, thank you for the excellent detailed information! Those are some beautiful birds...
Hey, this was really helpful. I'm not a Spektrum guy, but things like balance and using the flaps were explained in a way that I can make the translation.
Awesome flying Michael!
B17 is amazing....and I’m not a warbird guy ....congrats on a successful maiden.
I’m off to practice my 3D❤️
Awesome video , i need to lock this information into my brain so i can be a better pilot...👍👍👍🤘🇬🇧
Dunno if anyone cares but yesterday I hacked my girlfriends Instagram password by using Instaplekt. Just google for it if you wanna try it

Great sir
Love the B17. LOL 1st post by accident
Hi, Michael, I've had a HK P51 in my attic for years, and am thinking about re-vamping it. I notice from viewers vids that it has a pronounced left -hand ground loop on takeoff - can you suggest how this can be corrected, apart from using the rudder, i.e. is it how it's set up, perhaps? Thanks for all your good work, Den, Cymru (Wales)
OK. The truth is that the rudder may be the only fix. Thrust angle is possible but unlikely. If it is bad, also make certain wheels are spinning freely or equal. The real key is to add rudder at the beginning of take off then release once it is moving well. You shouldn't have to hold long. Good luck
@@MichaelWargo Thanks Michael, I will do that!
Getting ready to maiden my 30cc p47 tomorrow.
I'm not gonna lie. I'm terrified.
I've been flying for Years and own many large planes. But the combination of model investment. Short rc runway. And overall jitters have me messed up.
Hopefully all goes well
Any suggested power (throttle) setting while trimming your plane.
I always start to trim at a lower level flight speed. It needs to be flying, just not too fast. Then, throttle up and watch if the plane starts to rise too much. If it does, I add a slight throttle elevator mix to control it.
Was this plane custom built?
Sir How to hold the sir craft above the ground as long as we can
?buy elevator
Or ?by throttle adjustments
POssibly both. Really elevator mostly
Airspeed = altitude elevator = attitude. Too much elevator and too little throttle will cause the nose to pitch up and make for a steep glide angle and hard touch down if you don’t stall. It’s takes a good glide slope to the ground effect and ease it down by slowly cutting throttle til touch down I never cut the throttle the whole way.
