    Since I came across your channel and watched the video and chatted with you about the drop, I love the content and subscribed. Now that I came across this video I saw the type of coilovers you have. Here's another dumb question I should know but as I told you before that the forums are back & forth about things. So.. 😁 before you added all the other parts to get it to sit, How low was the drop with just the coilovers only?
    I ask because with bc racing people say the regular ones aren't low enough w/ adjusted all the way down and still have a 2 finger gap (I only want 1" or less) in the rear, so they had to purchase the extreme low series. the I hear the extreme lows were so low at full extent of adjustment the front upper control arm hitting the wheel well 🤔. ..
    Decisions.

    Sick bro ! I just subscribed 🤞🏼 I have an 03 g35 coupe that’s sitting with the lip and fender about .25 inch apart. Was thinking of going 5 inch 50k springs you think they would work to have no play so my fenders/quarters don’t hit?

  • @TheRealStatic

    Does the smaller springs eat up the strut ? Like blow them out ? I never understood how the struts stay good when it’s not sitting on the spring.

    if loosening the bottom of the front assembly doesnt work for you, i loosened the castlenut up top and that worked fine, just a large plier to clamp the joint so it doesnt spin on you when putting it back together

    • @OCTANEANDZIPTIES
      @OCTANEANDZIPTIES  Před 2 lety

      Ya you should be able to, only thing you’ll need to look for is buying springs it will say something like (example: id63) that means the inner diameter of the spring is 63mm. You’ll have to figure out what the “id” of your current springs on your current coilovers

    • @OCTANEANDZIPTIES
      @OCTANEANDZIPTIES  Před 3 lety

      Yes. The 36 way adjustment is dampening (how hard or soft the coilover rides) and the 3 rings are how you adjust the coilover. Look up on CZcams how to lower coilovers and there are plenty of videos that go into detail on how to do it correctly
