You motivate folks to do the right thing and put pride aside in lieu of "filling a tag". Thanks for your humble attitude.
Thanks for the kind comments. Hunting is far too important to me for it to be complicated by the pressures of filling tags and finding only the biggest animal around. Glad you find it worth watching. Best of luck this season.
You constantly impress me with your humility and respect for the animals! That's what keeps me coming back to your show. Thank you sir!
Thank you and thanks for watching.
honestly this is the first time I have ever had an understanding of why bow hunting is a thing and your humble reaction to the hunt makes so much sense!
Glad you found it compelling. Thanks for watching.
You constantly inspire me to be nothing short of a respectable, honest and ethical hunter. Thank you.
Thanks for that kind comment. Hope you have many great hunts ahead.
A lot of people will never get that close to an elk. In my book that's a win. That kind of excitement would give me a stroke I think! Great stalk Randy.
I watch your video's during AM stairmaster cardio and so far from season 2, this is my favorite!
Great video Randy.
I wouldn't have taken a shot on that bull at any time after he stood up, either. Never saw a high chance kill opportunity there.
Great call, great hunt, and episode.
Thanks for watching.
drew new mexico this year, nov 18-22, from what I can tell on maps, pretty much open compaed to what I am use too, thanks for the video
gran cazador saludos desde mexico

I wish we had alot of elk like this in Manitoba Canada
On the plus side, you do have some in Manitoba.
Randy Newberg, Hunter not much tho my dad said there were seen all over back in the 80s but now there is not much there goin away like the moose
700 gabriel elk hunting has recently been reintroduced in a few units that have been broken into smaller harvest areas for elk in south/eastern Ontario. They only drew 55 tags last yr...very limited hunt but promising to see its return.
Dang!! Thought you had him. :)
Me too.
Love this hunt episode. Tough open country to hunt. Just curious. What year was this episode actually filmed?
Thanks for watching. 2013.
Thanks Randy. You mentioned it was a wet year and that was around when I was thinking. Take Care.
Randy get Ozonics and take it with you on your elk hunts you just might fool there nose.
Any rattlesnakes in that heat or is the elevation to high?
Yes. I almost always encounter snakes while archery elk hunting.
Not many Elk in your area at all... you need a better spot.
You should have known better, I've seen a video where the elk smelled the hunters from 600 yards.
