Two of the greatest back to back NFL playoff games EVER!
Totally!
The first one was full of mistakes by both teams and QBs, the second one was just offensive execution and elite QB play.
@@dankenkit well, the Bucs Rams game at least it had some defense. The Bills Chiefs game had the defense absent.
One of the best post seasons I've seen. I'm 50
@@Sqoun great offense always beats great defense bro
I think both Mahomes and Allen played the best game of their life right there! lmoa It was like watching Rocky, and they knocked each other out!! Epic football weekend!!
If chiefs win superbowl - than Bills are automatic #2 team. NFC doesn't deserve to be #1 or #2!
@@jonathanb.9150 I was saying the same thing a couple of years ago, but the Niners were actually up 10 in the 4th quarter of the SB...and so maybe you can actually have one of the greatest QB's ever and still lose...almost. But I've always rooted for the offensive teams and to me the Chiefs are making up for what the Coryell Chargers and run and shoot Oilers were never able to do, or even made it that far.
Yeah awesome! It was like watching rocky and then in OT they tied his opponent's hands behind his back and said whoever punches first wins.
Bills Chiefs was the best game I've ever seen
2007 Fiesta bowl is still my number 1, but this is a close second.
Rams vs Chiefs 2018.. Monday night 54-51
@@Itrip_fatkids with the stakes this was far better
@@dankenkit I'm going with the best game I've ever seen... everyone's is different. Some people can argue Patriots big comeback against ATL in the superbowl to win was the best because the stakes were higher... it's all opinion
@@Itrip_fatkids I hope that’s the Super Bowl!!
Bils Vs Chiefs last night reminded me of Rams vs Chiefs 54 - 51 in 2018
I sure had a similar blood pressure afterwards.
Bills - Chiefs last night was the playoff game equivalent of The Godfather.
I was thinking "Rocky."
Life long Chiefs fan and I was spent from the earlier Rams Bucs game. That 5 minutes wasn't enough to rest, but the 13 seconds was more then enough.
13 is all you need!
I was about to have a tizzy fit followed by a coronary!
*than
Been looking forward to your comments all day...what an insane weekend.
Same lol
“I needed a smoke and I don’t even smoke!” 😂😂
Haha. I feel you. That was a wild 1 last night
I'll say this: Mahomes doesn't play NFL football. He play's NFL Blitz. I was trying to explain to my wife, who does not like football, that as good as the Chiefs are, as crazy talented as Mahomes is, what happened at the end of that game was INSANE. Absolutely unprecedented.
As a Titans fan, it hurt to see my team lose the way they did, but after seeing the other three games play out the way they did, the sting turned into respect for each team that played that weekend. Best weekend of football I ever saw
The Bills - Chiefs rivalry is now fucking canon.
Words can't appropriately describe what happened in KC last night... GO CHIEFS!!!! I'm still drunk!!!!
You type well for a drunkard. That was unbelievable. 4 fairy tale endings in 2 minutes of football! ANY ONE of those scores would have been just amazing.
I mean the chiefs have about the easiest possible route to the superbowl, plus affirmative action mahomes lol.
@@billbillson5082 What the hell are you even talking about? Playing the Bills was the "easiest possible route"?
I don't even know what you're trying to say with the affirmative action thing.
4:37 did Rich just say "studliest"? Absolutely incredible, I love this man
Nice
Said no one ever.
As a Bills fan last night hurt. But As a fan of the game what a weekend!
Allen played his heart out 😪😪😪😔
I was at the game. I’m happy the chiefs won, but that was the greatest sports experience of my entire life. Huge huge huge props to the bills. That’s an experience I’ll tell my kids about
@@ryanstang6556 Bills had them beat.
KC Fan. So much respect to Buffalo.
As a Niners fan I was devastated for Allen. That was a heroic performance and his defense wasted it.
Or, Mahomes/Chiefs are good enough to dice up defenses. Gotta give credit where it's due. Chiefs defense was faltering as well.
Good thing Mahomes outplayed him... again. Better completion percentage, more passing yards, more rushing yards.💪🏆
Heartbreaking
@@scottprewitt4712 exactly, Chiefs D could not stop Allen either, which makes it all the more disappointing he would not even see the field in OT anymore (which is the rule, of course, sure)...
@@lakeozarkrei3767 so therefore (see my other comment), it's pretty ridiculous to say Mahomes actually "outplayed" Allen.. Both played the game at the highest level any QB possibly could and one had the fortune of a coin falling their way
Chiefs v Bills - the total points from their last 3 games against each other are: Chiefs 100 Bills 98
This is going to be an epic rivalry!!!
Beautifully summarized everyone’s thoughts in 10 minutes
Eisen is awesome. His voice makes me listen.
I'm saving these to watch again in 20 years time. Amazing the way you tell a story, Rich. Love to hear ya!
Von Miller was the difference in that game. LA lose without him. So clutch
And Wirts not playing really hurt the Bucs.
OMG I DONT THINK I HAVE EVER SEEN RICH SO ANIMATED. LOVE IT
I have been an NFL fan since 1962. It is not an exaggeration to say the Bills and Chiefs played the greatest non Super Bowl game in NFL history. Epic.
Rich Eisen with the Game summaries of the decade!
I don't think anyone could have described that better, Good Job Mr Eisen
When Buccs tied it up with a few seconds to go I thought it was going to go into overtime and Brady would had won it but the Rams had other plans. The back and forth in those last few seconds was crazy. Especially cos the comeback from the Buccs.
I literally felt like puking lol I'm a long time rams fan and losing another one to tom brady in the post season especially in that fashion just wasn't fathomable to me. When kupp got that catch at the end I fucking blew up.
@@stormexon8665 was reading some of the comments the rams fans were posting up when Buccs tied it up was hilarious. Some were like TB and his wife does witchcraft. TB drinks tears of news borns, the NFL is rigged 🤣🤣🤣 it was just hilarious. These fans must've been so relieved when the rams won it. As you are.
@@patrickjacobsen7805 my personal favorite was that Brady used his Jedi powers to force the Rams into a bunch of mistakes lol
Good job to Mathew Stafford!! Chiefs kingdom gives a thumbs up!!
Agreed. What a weekend! I'm 41, and I'll be surprised if I see another round of playoff football this exciting for the rest of my life.
"What is this...1971?!?"
AND
"I honestly need a smoke, and I don't smoke!"
Bruh I picked the wrong week to quit nicotine cause that rams game was stressing me tf out
Wish the Buccaneers would have pulled off the amazing win, but they just didn't have enough and the Rams took advantage. Good for them, they have a great team.
No one wanted Tom Shady to win that game unless you are a front running Bucs fan.
Im glad I was able to watch all 4 games live. it was an absolute privilege
I didn’t leave my house all weekend. And was thrilled
13 fucking seconds… against the #1 defense.
No excuse. Yes, it sucks for Bills and yes, Allen had an amazing night. But they had 13 seconds to close the game. Any other QB or team lose this game to the Bills.
Put respect in his name… Mahomes magic pulling off another miracle win with the help of his Chiefs offense.
Frazier would be considered one of the top 3 fighters ever if he never fought Ali, unfortunately for Allen, Mahomes is Ali.
Been watching since Begining of Super Bowl era! All time best 4th Qtr. Ever!!
That last throw to Kupp was the worst defensive play call I've ever seen.
Yup. Bowles deserves to fired over it. People prop him up as amazing defensive coordinator and he has bone headed decisions like that all season. He is to stubborn to adjust his schemes and more times than not he gets bailed out by his players making insane splash plays.
Fucking Kills me. How do you let that happen. How do you not double the best WR in the league.
Fully confident the Bears will hire Bowles. ;-(
I know Bucs fans love Winfield but him missing his assignment was so detrimental. I hope he learns from it. Thought he would have been more alert after facing the Cheifs last year, but he's a young guy.
The KC/Bills game was starting…they had to end the game. I wish there was a stat for how many games this season had an ALMOST miraculous comeback by a team…I watched every game via Redzone…every seemingly insurmountable lead where the losing team ALMOST comes back, but ultimately loses is won by the team leading. It’s like it’s scripted to have a dramatic ending.
I’m not saying the outcome is scripted….I’m saying when a team has all but won it by the late third quarter, early fourth quarter, then it is scripted for the losing team to ALMOST come back….like in this game.
The GAME the Chiefs-Bills played, was more worthy than most super bowls turn out.. That was amazing
I have a gut feeling that the rest of the playoffs and the super bowl will be uninteresting.
Just hoping my chiefs win it lmao
Same.
those 4 games have shorten my life by 4 years lol
Totally
Probly the best 4 games I've ever seen. Up there with the chiefs-rams game where they both put up over 50
I remember as a kid coming home from school and watching NFL network , Rich Eisen looked like the nerdy uncle with no facial hair . Not he’s like the cool grandpa (still looks young) great show rich I appreciate you 💪🏿
I got a nostalgia trip listen to this recap from Rich. It was like he was back in Bristol with Stu right at his side.
Ya know Rich - methinks this is a classic example of your greatest skill.... telling it like it was with passion and praise... glory to the NFL , hallelujah...
"Best Dad Ever"!....more like..
" Best Commentary Ever"....
Rams tried every which way to lose that game.
EPIC FOOTBALL WEEKEND! Rich Eisen rocks the game recaps!
I love you Rich, I need a pack of smokes after watching both those games, I’m named Mike Evans & I root for my boy, & I grew up in Utica NY down the road from Buffalo and both my teams lost in epic fashion, I was gutted, but that……. was the best playoff football day I have ever seen
The Bills stopped playing with 13 seconds left, too bad. Great game though.
All morning I wondered how much Rich E would lose his mind after such a once-in-a-lifetime weekend of football... now I know
After his COVID meltdowns, pretty sure he has no mind left to lose. 🤷
Mahomes performance was a bit more significant in my opinion because he was going up against the number #1 overall defense and #1 pass defense with two all-pro safeties while Allen was going up against a secondary ranked 27th against the run
With multiple back ups playing
Straight facts. We also lost Mathieu at the beginning of the game too.
Mahomes did have home turf
Bills defense is good, but the reality is the only teams they played all year that could pass were the Chiefs and Bucs
The Bills were without one of the the best CB in the league White so those teams were even and it came down to execution and the Bills coaches choked. End of story.
Best weekend of nfl playoffs ever. Each with stunning endings where it seemed one team would win for sure, until they didn't. Perfect recap Rich.
Been a fan of NFL and Giants since mid 60's. Most exciting weekend of football ever. Bills Chiefs was one insane unforgettable capper. Pure joy to watch
Your my favorite sports commentator. “What a weekend!”
Rich,
I wish that the NFL playoffs in OT were like NCAA college OT rules, where the game is not decided by a coin flip but rather by how the teams play in OT. Make each team start at the 40 yard line and give both of them the opportunity to score a FG or TD. If one team does not score at all, then the other team can win the game with a FG.
I think this would be a much better OT format and allow for much more strategy and the viewers would enjoy a much better game!!
Thank you!
J S Thomas
Rock Hill, SC
Yep. Exactly. Just a coin flip. OT was the most boring part of the weekend it turns out.
Totally aware this is easier said than done BUT, Bills coaching staff should not have played prevent defense and allowed them to get into FG range in 2 plays. Never give Mahomes an extra period to beat you. Whether it would have been successful or not we'll never know but for my money they should have tried pressuring him. There were only 13 secs left. Make him uncomfortable; make him scramble. Run the clock out. I know he can kill you but it's the chance they needed to take. Laying down and giving up that FG cost them the game. Great weekend of football. One of the best divisional weekends maybe ever.
Yeah, pressure him and give him an even easier match-up for his deep threats to possibly not only tie but win it in regulation right away.. Just as much of a gamble. Even with giving up the FG they could as well have had better luck with the coin toss after all 🤷🏻♂️ not sure Mahomes sees the field again if Buffalo got the ball first
4:08 that is a pretty sick image. enjoying the color mishmash.
Chiefs owner Hunt 3yrs ago voted to change the OT rules.. Buffalo voted no.. There ya have it. OT in playoff should allow 1 full 1/4.. Needless to say, Chiefs Bills = one of the greatest games ever played in all of sport,,,
The irony there is not unwarranted. It was okay when it happened to the Chiefs, but when it happens to the Bills let the crying begin. Go cry to your owner.
So what. Ralph Wilson gave the chiefs money to stat afloat!!
Ralph Wilson gave Lamar Hunt, of the billionaire Hunt family, money to stay afloat in the old AFL?
Um, might want to do some more research. The original owners actually gave money to the Oakland Raiders to keep them afloat. They knew if one team went down it could ruin their league.
But nice try anyways with the shade.
9:07 Richeissen Cronkite: engage
Not only was this the best overall weekend of playoffs, each game was better than the last. It was like “oh the 2nd game was better than the 3rd one” it was 1st game (4th), 2nd game (3rd), 3rd game (2nd), 4th game (1st).
Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in. Damn you NFL 😂
Both divisional game was EPIC
Chiefs offense is ridiculously hard to defend but I have no idea how a Buffalo Bills defensive player or coach can look Josh Allen in the face after that game after he superman'd his way into winning that game for Buffalo.
Bucs-Rams turned out like it should have, even if it was the only pick I got wrong last weekend. Guess that’s what I deserve for looking at my hometown Bucs with my heart instead of my head.
Greatest playoff weekend ever!
the reason the cheetah wasnt penalized for taunting is he was behind the defender when he threw up the dueces lol, the guys amazing
Rich Eisen's recounts of these games are fuckin great 😂
He summed it all up perfectly.
Great couple of games if you love offense but if you're the kind of fan that loved the Patriots/Rams defensive slugfest in the SB, then you were probably pulling your hair out at the devastating defensive mistakes in both games.
Absolutely the Greatest Weekend in NFL history.
How bout this hot take: the Stafford-Kupp connection is better than the Stafford-Megatron connection
The best weekend of NFL games in the history of the league.
The butt-kicker.. ties the game in regulation!! LoL 😂
Wild stuff.
The mom from Buffalo '66 has a new game tape to watch incessantly now.
I lost any real passion for the NFL years ago but I felt the juice yesterday.
Love watching from the uk
Rich, just like most of the media....WRONG about Stafford baby. LET'S GO!
So most evenly matched divisional round.
Best playoff games that first come to mind of the last 20 years or so......
2018 AFCCG Pats @ KC (similar ending but Pats won in OT)
2012 Ravens @ Broncos (double OT)
2017 Saints @ Vikings (Minneapolis Miracle)
2015 Packers @ Cardinals
2011 Saints @ 49ers (4 TD in final 4 min)
2009 GB @ Cardinals WC game (51-45 OT)
2014 Ravens @ Patriots (Edelman double pass)
Including Superbowls the 2014, 2008 Superbowls were better than Bills at KC.
This speech was of cinematic quality.
Easily the best weekend of football ever. No hyperbole.
Why is no one talking about Gabrielle Davis? He literally scored all of Josh Allen's touchdowns, and got major separation.
Because the chiefs were practically triple covering Diggs, and Knox, Davis was the only one with single coverage against a back up
Patrick Hold my Beer Mahomes
Davis put up 4td’s in TARKOV CLEATS what a legend
I think one play that's being forgotten is the weddle flag that was so close to giving the Bucs a first down
I think if this week highlights anything, was just how balanced the league was this year. Go Bengals!
Now that my Tommy is out I’m cheering for you guys
1971 , Was a good Year
And that's not an overreaction
The OT rules are fine, if BUF gets the ball first and scores a TD are we here crying?
They are obviously not fine. (Obviously).
I ❤ FOOTBALL!!
The Bills top rated defense couldn't hold Mahomes from scoring with 13 seconds left and starting from their own 25 yard line, Sean McDermott and his staff are vastly overrated in my opinion!
Every time I hear someone say the Bills defense is the best I cringe. Something has got to be skewing the numbers; just watch them play. I'm not saying the Bills defense is bad, but the idea they have the *best* defense is insanity.
@@islandhopper100 I agree. Something is off, Bills def is above average but no great shakes.
@@skyeangelofdeath7363 you’ve got to take a look at the teams they’ve played. No way in my mind is that the best pass defense in the league
@@juiceisloose7035 Maybe you've got it. Perhaps they played enough bad passing teams to get over-rated. It's something. Because I keep hearing the media talking heads saying how amazing their D is. It looks average to above average to me when I watch.
@@juiceisloose7035 Tre White out that plays a big part
Rams have beat themselves with turnovers all year long!
Brady’s luck finally ran out - well deserved by Matt Stafford
Yeah, Stafford out Brady'd Brady. I'm happy that he was wearing a RAMS uniform when it happened, too. Brady has f'd over the Rams long enough. Its Staffords time now.
Watching Tom Brady play - nobody will ever do it better-makes me feel sorry for the rest-nobody does it half as good as you-Brady you’re the best.🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶
Rich!
bucs defense choked just like the bills defense... sad, brady and josh allen deserved better.
Bills vs Chiefs was like Gatti vs Ward 1...
If The Bills would have led by a full TD, they would have won. The Bills, in their usual way, don't start playing with a sense of urgency until the game looks lost.
If the Chiefs would’ve never done that trick play option, they would’ve scored and be up 2 scores and won. The could’ve would’ve should’ve crap is a lame reasoning to have.
IT should have been taunting. They called it that way in every other game. They need to be consistent if they are going to call it.
Not sure what the hell Frasier was thinking…. Should have been squib kick then tight D. They weren’t playing for a TD, they were playing for FG first, then Hail smarty if needed from the 50. No excuse to all 3 plays and 44 yards in 13 sec…. Actually 10
What a time to be an nfl fan y’all. And to top it off neither Brady or the patriots are in the playoffs? Heck yes! Loving the fresh faces! Cannot wait for championship weekend!
@Clif Diggz they very well might. I was only trying to say I’m glad we aren’t seeing the patriots, Tom Brady or Aaron Rodgers competing for a chance at the Super Bowl.
One was a fumble fest, the other was the best football game I've ever seen.
