@Lian Ian No problem =)
Thomann needs to buy out Guitar Center and start selling HBs in the USA
That is an AWESOME idea
Heyy.. How much shipping cost from thomann to US?
Agree. 100%
That was a great review! Straight forward, common sense, good advice. Thanks!
Those flaws are nothing in this price range. And this Tele sounds awesome. Great review! Keep up the great work!
Yup, think I'll get one myself, even though I already have fifteen guitars, one violin bass, a cigar box guitar, a ukulele, mandolin and a banjo. I have a serious problem. 😔😔😔
Great video very informative I like your format keep it up
Thorough video - well done! Same story as you; saw that Guitar World article and had to click buy. Arrived within a week. Other than a tune up mine was ready to go out of the box. Black fingers from the Roseacre fret board (!) I can't find any finishing faults anywhere on mine, neck feels great and the all-over satin finish is gorgeous. But I will say I think the bridge pickup is quite dark. Your vid sounds brighter, but that is probably the preset you are using. I guess that is the voicing they are looking for and as you demo'd for drop tuning they sound great. I just had to EQ a little more for the top end. But I actually found the pickups are pretty responsive to harmonics and the neck pickup warmth is great for blues or jazz if you want. This guitar is a bargain for the quality and price, and other than the fiddly bridge re-restring thing, I think this would be great for a beginner. Popular too because they are currently out of stock...
Thanks for showing the teardown! I have a Harley Benton SC and I replaced the pickups and hardware after I got it. I just ordered this guitar and will probably do the same, so I can shop for parts now based on your video.
Btw, you mentioned that even with the fret wrap you still had some ringing. I wonder if it was the strings above the string saddle. I saw another video where they dampened those with some velcro strips and it fixed a lot of extra ringing.
Im not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet but I just received this guitar (4/28/2021) and the strings are now through the back of the body with Ferrules. Seems like they started drilling holes through the body to accommodate this style of bridge, and I think this is a really great quality addition for this model. Mine came with a small corner scuff on the fretboard at the 22nd fret but other than the visual aspect, I can't feel it while playing. I had planned to have the holes drilled through the body but looks like I dont have to now. The price is $100 now but if im paying $10 extra for through-body string holes, then it's worth it imo. Anyway thanks for your well-done and thorough review! You helped me make a good purchase.
for 90 bucks guitar is amazing!!great video Lucas!!keep them coming!!
Thank you for the very thorough review!
Thanks for the review!
Really good an informative Review, thanx
10/10 Review sir!! So sick for $90!!
thats a very thorough review... very helpfull
Excellent review sir
great review, Guthrie Govan says basswood and maple are the perfect combo for tone on a guitar i have guitars with basswood bodies that sustain and sound great with maple necks. reminds me of John 5 telecaster. im thinking of grabbing one i have the HB te 52 and it is a great guitar for the budget price point and a cst24t which i love in paradise flame HB makes good quality guitars for the price point.
Dude, I just got mine a few days ago. Really great and in depth review! My only issues are that the fretboard is a little scratchy and I'm having some minor problems keeping it in tune. Haven't played it that much tho. Still, it sounds great and feels solid. Thanks for the review!
Do you like the pickups?
I want one! It sounds better than my Squire.
What about lowering the bass side of that neck pickup? That may remedy the bass heaviness... Good review regardless!
Think I'll get one for myself. Subscribed.
Looks like an awesome guitar for the money!
I had the TC70, costs like 30 bucks more and I love it.
I got one and I paid $90 for I think it's great I got a single cut Les Paul type coming with the Floyd Rose I hardly been able to see how it goes
Ran into one of these at GC Las Vegas brand new with HB hangtag and plastic on pick guard , no blemishes or issues for $59 !
GC has a 30 day minimum hold policy on used guitar purchases , apparently someone traded it in? ! (yikes they must have gotten $20 towards trade )
So wound up putting it on layaway for $10 lol
I demoed it thru a Vox Ac 10, fairly clean, just a touch of gain and reverb, it sounded legit ! and looks the part of a $200-300 guitar
Can't by a wreck of a guitar at a pawn shop for $59
I'm considering their version of an Ovation.
This is a beastt

How do you like the way the fingerboard plays? Maple tends to be quick.
what bridge to replace this one in stock? And what if I wanna a push button to split the humbuckers to single coil - what model of pickups I got to buy?
I very much doubt the middle position involves any kind of splitting or fancy wiring. You can check that by touching pole pieces with a screwdriver to determine which are active.
Agreed, but I understand his point. On mine it was verging on that "glass" tone in the middle, nice for rhythm.
Sure sounds like single coils
Nice guitar, lovely fat 50's feel neck, got this guitar too, but I don't like HB's in the neck so a P-90 in it now ( and a splittable old Dimarzio HB in the bridge that was lying around) that made the guitar much more versatile , but that's a question of taste, what I really didn't like was the 6 saddles toploader bridge, not because it's a toploader, but because string changing is a hell of a job , surely for a beginner, so the first thing I did is drill 6 holes and made irt a backloader. Pity they didn't put a toploader bridge on it with 3 saddles, then changing strings would have been a lot easier...so I hope that they put a better bridge on it on the next batch, or make it a backloader in the factory, because not anyone can do that job himself.... .
No wonder I couldn't find the thing. I saw it in a video and wanted to check it out and couldn't find it in the store. It's probably flying off the shelves at 90 bucks.
How would you describe this neck profile? Is it a thin, medium, or chuncky C? Thank you. I appreciate your review.
Chunky C, but it felt good. It wasn't too massive.
Pronounced ROSE-ACE-URR
Acer = maple
(Basically, rosewood looking maple) 👍🏻
Please help me... I want to buy guitar harley benton like this. But where i can buy???
www.thomannmusic.com/harley_benton_fusion_t_hh_ht_roasted_bks.htm
the ringing comes from the strings after the string trees , i usualy gaftape these and all the annoying noises are bye bye especialy with a fret wrap
hey. I am to see those 100 duck size horses lol!!!
Over here in Europe you pay 99 EUR incl. shipping for it. Thats 112 USD.
Inflation. I hate it so much.
@@LucasLeCompteMusic That has nothing to do with inflation. Thomann just evens out the shipping pices.
@@narvul ohh ok I misread what you put got it!
just buy te 20 or spend more and get te 52 na with single coils :D?
Yes, it is Bentastic!
Shipping charge is a dealbreaker. Tis a shame. HB should get a USA distributor.
A bit high but I got mine to TX in 3 days for $166.
@John Doe yes, that was the grand total. $98 for the guitar and the rest was shipping and tax.
The price would reflect shipping -- doubt anyone would sell it for anything less than 150 or 160 anyway.
Before the pandemic shipping was only like $35 and it was great. Hopefully it will return to that again soon.
I thought it quite reasonable. 98 bucks plus shipping got it to Montana in less than a week for 162 total. Similar shipping on another guitar through Gear4Music. But for some reason (DHL) it took almost 2 months to get here. A local music store has a couple Harleys for sale on their floor and they are 250. Another feller had this one on marketplace for 225...used....He wouldnt drop below 180 plus shipping so I simply bypassed the scammer and ordered mine direct. LOVE this guitar
Peace
Damn man I think you need to buy a shit load of cheaper instruments and review them. Your like ratio is rocking here since people hate on you for no reason.
Excellent ideal on nodding that guitar. Just add brass nut, brass saddles, change pickups out B and N, change the tuners to locking tuners, strap locks also I will split the coils on both pickups. I will make it a MONSTER out of the Tele.
Metal tele? O.o
Why is this a metal tele ?
Flat radius fretboard, 2 HB dark sound wood, dats metal 4 me
I would fight horsse size ducks
$90 plus $80 shipping
Shipping wasn't that bad when I bought it but many things have changed since then.
Sounds Bucas, but ok.
