IM IN LOVE WITH THESE VEDIOS, you are a life savor thanks a lot!
imagine eating fish meat to increase the B12 in your diet, only to get Diphyllobothrium latum inside you and cause more B12 deficiency. hahahaha

My name is Anna. I am from Ukraine.
English is not my first language but i am learning it and really love to take information from english source.
I am in a way of my body and nutrition exploring. Because I decided to change my diet to Vegan this year. I've been really confused after I made a blood analysis some month ago.Due to a lot of different information and recommendation that I took about deficiency and anemia that i have now.
I've found your channel today, and after watching this video I understand more about B12 absorption than after reading a lot of other articles.
Really love how compact and easily-understood information that you are giving is.
FOllOW!!!! And appreciate a lot. KEEP going.
I will continue learning with your videos.🌱

I was told it would help me from being exhausted all the time ? I honestly am so frustrated I'm in my 50s and I'm constantly exhausted even if I'm not doing anything I'm tired what the heck should i do ? I'm wondering if it's hormonal ? Any advice I would appreciate it I don't like to run to doctors for everything ?
@@ninamartinez2239 Check blood reports.
@@rohanshinde4327 Thank you for answering my question i will take your advice.
Thank you bro you are great ❤
When there is no intrinsic factor, the ileum could not absorb B12, but why? It seems the intrinsic factor was cleft before absorption, right?
Man I really love your videos ..this is the second video i have watched on your channel.
Thanks again
You’re welcome! The new videos are even better!
Great work than you
My pleasure!
You’re my survivor thank you👏🏻
Fell explained.Thanks. God bless you.
Thanks 🙏
Myth: "animal protein is best". Absolutely false. Fact: Supplementation is best... For all of the complex reasons given in this video. Supplemental B12 is not bound to protein and thus has the highest absorption rate by Intrinsic Factor (about 50%). Oral B12 supplementation has a much higher rate of passive diffusion (over 1%, because of dose and because it's not bound to protein).
"Animal meat is the only natural source of vitamin B12 for humans." -Harrison's Internal Medicine.
I don't think you understand what "natural" means.
Considering most B12 is synthesized by bacteria in a factory.. and most meat is produced in high capacity agricultural factories, and those animals are fed supplements and in virtually all ways live unnaturally, eat an unnatural diet, die and are processed unnaturally... Supplements are in fact more natural of the two options.
Veg Ahimsa got him lmao
@@MedicosisPerfectionalis vitamin b12 you get in from bacteria.. cause they spray the soil everyone is deficient .. meat eater for sure.. supplement.
What about b12 taken in supplements under the tongue?
These are so good!
When b12 is high homocysteine should be low? In my blood test both are high? What could be the reason?
Wrong . When b12 is low homocysteine is high
@@lyesrahmane398 I asked him not you. You are wrong. Learn more about tissue and blood content of vitamin b12. Don’t just interfere with out knowing.
i m in love with ur explanation
Thank you 🙏
You are amazing
Thank you 😊
Can vitamin B12 help to give me energy ? What is the best brand that you recommend ? Is it safe to take over the counter without talking to a doctor ?
How do you know that you have vitamin B12 deficiency?
Just to let you know: Vitamin B12 is normally stored in your liver for years!
You wouldn't develop a deficiency in a few days or months.
@@MedicosisPerfectionalis I don't know why im just always so tired ? My niece suggested vitamin B12 for energy I think I need to talk to my doctor do you have any good questions that might help me again I am always exhausted even if I sleep all night my energy is beyond low it's getting worse as I get older.
@@MedicosisPerfectionalis Ps thank you for your time i seriously appreciate it.
happened to just pass by this comment and read this before finding this video.
i dont know if it helps, but heres a link:
ods.od.nih.gov/factsheets/VitaminB12-Consumer/
theres also this:
ods.od.nih.gov/factsheets/VitaminB12-HealthProfessional/
the consumer page mentions anemia, when doing a quick google search on it a brief summary is given from the mayoclinic.org, "Anemia is a condition in which you lack enough healthy red blood cells to carry adequate oxygen to your body's tissues. Having anemia can make you feel tired and weak...".
theres probably more stuff as well as stating there to be different kinds of anemia.
google also shows it to be really common, approximately more than 3 million cases per year in the united states. i dont know if google shows a different answer depending on the area, it should be on the right side of the page.
the consumer page from the national institutes of health dietary office of supplements states b12 to specifically prevent megaloblastic anemia.
there could be other reasons for why you are tired but i figured this could help figure out what it might be exactly. hope this helps and that you find out whats occurring and if and how to solve it.
Thank you very very very very very very very very very very very very very very Much , Sir 🌺
My pleasure 😇
Thank you ❤️🔥
Great explanation I been diagnosed with RA. I working on a strict diet that helps my symptom. Currently I only eat fish and a couple eggs a week. I would like to see other sources of natural b12. Any suggestions?
Oral B12 supplementation is the superior source.
Evidence?
@@MedicosisPerfectionalis I've given you a full description elsewhere under this video and suggested you look at the data and conclusions from millions of participants in Ontario studies.
But for a quick education: unbound cobalamin is carried by R-binder from mouth saliva and found in the stomach. About 50% of unbound B12 is successfully absorbed by IF up to about 3 mcg in four hours in most adult humans. Only unbound B12 is absorbed by passive diffusion in significant amount (1-3%).
Protein bound B12 on the other hand has a far lower absorption rate by IF and insignificant (or zilch) by passive diffusion. First, the protein must be unbound in the stomach or lower where most B12 is lost. Second, dietary protein bound B12 cannot be absorbed by passive diffusion in the intestines or anywhere in the digestive system.
nice
I want to ask a question
We're all doomed! Lmao!!! 🤣🤣🤣
Wow ❤
Sir in book we have till the folate or vit B12 metabolosim but in lecture we study absorbsorb not metabolism so any on can hepl me plz
Sorry, but I don’t understand the question...Can you, please, phrase it in different manner?
@@MedicosisPerfectionalis sir i am ask that we study vitB12 absorbtion and transport is this all process called metbolism of vit b12
What does amylase have to do with protein degr.?
Not 40 years of b12 storage more like 5-7 years of b12
R protein is in salivary secretions. not in gastric or biliary, correct it please
Thank you
FINE.
Thanks 🙏
Can u help me explain how to manage the absorption of Vit b12 if the absorption in the body is poor!!!
And why is the absorption poor? How did you know that it’s an absorption issue?
Because I m consuming it and still m deficient of it
sir my age is 29,i m suffering from deficiency of b12 &d3 from last 8 years, after taking supplements 12 level increase but after some time, the deficiency start again, please suggest me what should i do? which tests should i go through, please suggest
Are you following up with a good physician?
sir my phycian is nice,
please suggest me any medicine for absorbing of b12&d3
I can’t suggest medicine, your doctor would, but let me ask you, “Did the deficiency occur while you were taking vitamin supplements regularly?”
after leaving suppliments the level gets down
Great video 👍🏼
Thank you :)
Sir, does fermented rice increases vitamin b12.
Extremely unlikely.
soooo good
Thanks 😊
Does proton pump inhibitors affect B12?
Yes...They can lead to vitamin B12 deficiency with long-term use.
I am not a doctor so I cannot give medical advice.
