The fact is you CAN put a slab on rails for make them looks cool, but you need the Steam n' rails addon for the Create
Can confirm. I’m a frequent member of there community. It’s a Steam N Rails Create Addon that does that.

An interesting idea is a trading hall or market in the middle of or near the industry area. That way if you do more farms for other materials, it would be far easier to unload and trade them with villagers.
The reason the slab wasn’t working on the rail is because it’s within a seperate mod called “Create: Steam and Rails”
The most thing I love in this series is that the videos are more than 20 minutes long, keep up the great work and thank you for the fun you provide
Its never a true minecraft experience if you didn't forget half your building materials and have to run back to base every time
Suggestion, Large industral crane either in the centre; for moving cargo or to the side for accepting delieveries
Place a campfire on the train chimneys
Just to make it looks cooler with the smoke particle
11:50 It isn't all done because the engine is missing a bunker or a tender for it's coal!
For this engine, a tender would work best. The tender is that little truck, or car for the yanks, that just holds the coal.
So, i love trains.... The bit you made with the crushing wheels is called the boiler, a steam train is basically a giant kettle. There is lots of water in that are with tubes that run through the boiler, ths tubes get heated and that creates the steam... The steam then powers the pistons which drives the engine. Hope this was a good explanation 😊
14:30 The portable storage interface can go through blocks.
You could add a little clock tower in front of the empty space you got on the home base. With granite, bricks and copycat blocks it could look like a town square and you can use a real clock to make it work.
14:22 Also steam engines don't have doors on the back. It's either a bunker, for tank engines, or opened for easy access to the tender, for tender engines.

@@XraptorNZ he didn’t specify what he was going for. He just said a train and that is definitely not a diesel because it has a smoke stack and a boiler which diesels don’t need either one of those so that is a steam engine he is building.

You should make an amusement park but that would be like a series or something because that is a lot of work but I would love to watch that.
You can use slabs to cover train tracks, I think you need more than one track for that to work. Anyway, I'm enjoying your vids.

pls add create add ons- create steam and rails (makes slab work), create enchantment industry, and create deco are essential!! also a backpack mod is a lifesaver in modded. enjoying the series ty
For the train cars: if you move the vault to the other side of the train car, you can have the Portable Storage Interface in the car as well. The connector part of the Storage Interface can go through copycat panels, so you don’t need to mess with the exterior of the cars for the interfaces to work.
As for the engine, if you put a furnace and a barrel in the engine car, then fill the barrel with coal, the train will actually go faster.

Also you should try to put a working windmill in the empty space near the wood mill
You should install Create crafts & additions. It doesn't add much but the main thing is being able to turn rotation power into electricity and back. It would be really cool to see the city having power cables hanging in between the buildings. It would also mean you only need one place to generate power and then you can just place a block to turn electricity into rotation wherever you need it
Great video! Maybe you could try adding a little chimney on top of the locomotive (very well done by the way). I think a campfire for the smoke would look great.

Just an idea I had while you were building the train ...
Have you thought about maybe adding some doors in between the train carriages? That way you can easily access the inside of your lumber and iron carriages incase of any issues in the future, without needing to break through the walls or ceiling.
It looked like you had a bit of space between the carriage walls and the storage inside them, so I thought a door between each carriage would allow you to walk through both easily for possible future maintenance :)

The Stone Slab on a Rail that you tried to do is NOT from the BASE create mod. It’s from the Steam N Rails add-on which expands upon trains. People Often get them confused with the features because there are a lot of addons.
Maybe you should consider some disruptive 😄
Little tip: you don't need the 2 polished deepslate in between the train carriges. If you assemble the train there will automaticly go 'chains' in between.

Not a doctor as such, but carry all your shit around in a toolbox (or two). Plonk it down, and access it where your currently building. Cheers cobber.

When you get villagers you should make a factory type trading hall for them. They can wonder around and do their jobs at detailed workstations all over the building but when you ring a bell they will all go to their beds which would be labeled with their trades/names

I think a statue of a worker with a big hammer or something in the middle of the tracks would be awesome
For the next train build I like to see one built as a Diesel Locomotive to make it different as I have seen all train builds for Minecraft Create Mod on CZcams to be Steam Locomotives. Also I recommend you build a power plant to house Steam Engines as that is the best power generator in the entire mod.
I’d go with a fountain in the center of the rails.
Also a water tower somewhere along the rails for the steam engine (they use water to make steam) and others had a good ideas with a clock tower center piece and a loading crane on the store house to explain how they fill the carriages.

As something useful, you can add a whistle conected to a fluid tank on your train and it will automatically ring every time it's reaching a station.

Disruptive I love this series, I think it would be cool if you used farmer's delight because here are drawers, which is a super cool storage method. Also, it would be really fun for the next episode to be maybe a storage house connected to the train and all you other farms.
You should make storage in the middle of the tracks and have a bridge from second floor to get to the storage
I think you should put like piles of wood and iron in the middle of the train tracks it fits the vibe and I think it'll look cool pls
BUILD SUGGESTION:
Build a tender for the train.
If you don't know what a tender is, I suggested you search it up, because the internet definitely will say it better.

Also! putting a campfire on the smokestack of your train could make it look even more realistic. I’m not sure if that would work but it’s work a try.

You can use casings to make belts and shafts look nicer
Add a New Mod: "Create Steam n' Rails" and then connect the bogeys with Train Couplers "It looks more good than having blocks".
And with this Mod you can add slabs on Rails to make them Look Cool.

Building some watchtowers around the railway track would be a really cool addition, which you can use to observe your industrial areas and train thingy.
Around those watchtowers you can also add some Stuff piles.

I love the factories perhaps you can add some of the new torch flowers in the roundabout in a rock garden because that would really fit with the redbrick factory vibes.
For the area between the tracks, maybe you could dig out a deep pit with all of your storage in it. Maybe have some bridges above it?
U could add a small mechanic garage in he middle, so u could repair or create more trains :D

In the middle of the railroad thingy you should add like a newspaper stand/beer stand for the workers!! Gives them something to do while they're on their break or something along those lines

portable storage interfaces dont need to be attached to the vault, just needs to be attached to the train it self. also you dont need more than one portable storage interface in a train. lastly psu's can pass through blocks to attach to each other, meaning they dont need to be visible to connect to one another.
portable storage interfaces are secluded to the carriage they are glued to. so if you have multiple carriages then you do need to have multiple, but only 1 per carriage unless you want one on both sides/on top.

You should build an engine sheds if you have a couple of trains. Bonus base it of on Thomas and Friends.

You can add a spooky jungle/garden in that area
You can also add a farming style windmill somewhere.
Suggestion: you can put a display board next to your base's station and link it to the train station block with a display link to display info on the train (when it's arriving, where it's coming from, where it's going, etc.)

The front is a boiler. You can use a steam whistle and fluid tank to male the train whistle every time it arrives/departs stations.

Oh my. I've played the MTech modpack for so long that I forgot how simple normal create sturdy sheets are haha. Great series! You can also use the framed blocks mod instead of just copycat stuff for more options. Also you can call the chicken Charlie.
you need the addon named "Create: Steam n' Rails" to add stone slabs to the train tracks, also a idea for the mine would be adding the narrow andesite tracks from create steam n' rails to make a minecart

You need to make the toolbox, both so you can carry all the things you always forget and so you can build things faster. Pressing alt with the toolbox placed nearby will bring up a wheel to select items out of it.
